Kyle at broken oak was quick to come out and provide an estimate. I appreciated even more that him and his team were willing to add a last minute project, and haul away a large honeysuckle tree brush pile and ground the stumps for a tree my husband took down. The crew was responsive and kind and took great care of our yard!

Kyle operated and now the maples can breathe and look better than they ever have. The bed under the maples contained 40 prized hostas and 7 huge pots with jade, bromeliads and flowers. The crew caught each branch before it reached the ground and didn't harm a single plant! In the back, a giant river birch was growing onto the roof. River birches are not easy to climb, but Kyle was able to climb it and completely eliminate the problem. The whole crew worked together as a team, cutting, hauling, chipping--and at the end, doing a thorough clean up job removing all debris and raking the yard. I highly recommend Blue Ox.

Josh Hobson is the owner. They offered a 10 percent discount as a winter special. We called for estimate and they came out within a week to assess the job. With the 10 percent, Indiana Strong came in slightly lower than other estimates we received. They carefully marked each tree to come down. I liked their attention to detail, so we selected them for the job. They communicated well with us and arranged to have underground cables marked prior to working. They arrived on time and as expected. Wearing hard hats and working carefully, the crew of six downed the three trees in about an hour. They used a small tractor with a claw to transport the branches and logs out of the yard to waiting trucks. They ground stump. They meticulously removed all the debris, even from the street. Would I hire them again? Heck yes.

I've attached photos of the state of my yard along with a neighboring home that has completely new sod put in just a month ago. The quality is atrocious and has no chance of making it, the workers are super lazy. There are more rocks than dirt in the soil, they left plastic bottles of water underneath the netting for the grass seed... I water my lawn everyday, I've tried different fertilizers and disease control, etc. They even incorrectly divided our a d our neighbors yards so the land allotment isn't correct to what we own!
