Very good experience at this veterinary clinic!!! Very clean, smelled good, too!…read more The vet tech was extremely nice, and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed her company and how she treated my dog. She even sat down on the floor to try to play with him (he doesn't like people, but he almost went to her, lol). I loved to the way she held onto him in such a way to make him comfortable. The Vet was very nice and friendly and came in talking to my dog in such a sweet and calm tone, he seemed legit concerned about my dog and I've never been to a vet that seemed to care as much as these people here. The front desk lady was very friendly, too. Also very funny. Definitely will be my new vet clinic for all my pet needs!

Called Animal Care and they worked her in immediately! I was so relieved as you could see she was in pain and we were supposed to be going out of town for the weekend. They treated her for both the problem and the pain and we were able to board her there just in case something else happened... and to keep her away from her two adversaries at home. She did phenomenal and we still board her there when we head OOT because she's since developed heart problems as well. The staff is AWESOME and helpful as well!

Best advice was "when the bad days exceed the good days, then it's time to think about it." Exam was superficial but Dr Brannen and Paige were kind. However when I called to euthanize one cat, they made an excuse that they could not get to our house in a timely manner. Although our cats were eating I explained that it was getting increasingly difficult to get them to eat. They were not starving, but this why they said they could not come. We called our local Lap of Love and Dr Dawn came the same day to gently and humanely euthanize Pudie Cat. It was expensive but they are reliable and they wanted to help. Lap of Love is a good service but any services outside of euthanasia are exorbitant and gouging. However we were happy with their kind service and will use them for our last beloved cat. Don't call on Dr Brannen to euthanize your animals. You can't count on his service.

So different now. I first started taking my dogs to San Francis years ago because the vets really…read morecared and did not try to upsell everything like a previous vet I had. Now that VCA owns it, San Francis is just a corporate investment. Each visit we are bombarded by recommendations for unnecessary procedures and pleas to join their subscription-based care program. I found a new vet in the area that takes their time with our dogs. They have not been recommending any unnecessary procedures or trying to pressure us into subscriptions. They are privately-owned and managed. My recommendation to you would be to call any vet clinic ahead of time. If they are corporate-owned that is a red flag that you may be getting the same experience we had once VCA took over San Francis. The worst part of our experience with two different corporate owned clinics? The despicable practice of holding our dog's prescription medication hostage unless we have several hundred dollars worth of tests run. Never have I run into that issue with a non-corporate vet.

Three years ago, while living in the area, I searched for the best veterinarian in town and found…read moreDr. Campos after reading about his outstanding reputation. Now I can confidently say he's not just the best in the area -- he's the best in Florida. Even after moving to Orlando and being three hours away, I still only see him. Recently, my 11-year-old dog P. with heart and kidney failure developed facial swelling from an inflamed tooth. I was forced to take her to a local clinic, where I was quickly presented with multiple recommendations -- bloodwork, anesthesia, cardiology referrals, and specialty appointments totalizing thousands of dollars. With a fragile senior dog who cannot safely undergo surgery, this felt overwhelming. I left with antibiotics and immediately scheduled an appointment with Dr. Campos. The next day, I drove three hours to see Dr Campos. He examined P. thoroughly, considered her full medical history, and handled the issue right there in the office -- no pressure, no unnecessary add-ons. That is the difference. Dr. Campos practices with integrity and sound judgment, thinking about safety and quality of life first. I will always make the drive for him and his incredible team -- Ryan, Tonya, Katie, and Angelei -- who are caring, responsive, and truly exceptional. Forever grateful for a clinic that practices medicine with heart.
