Hmm Petluv is our go-to place for doing those things that they do best. You might call them 'The Neutralizers!' As always, every step of the way for me and Hobie was flawless. Oh, Just him for that procedure! Whew! The staff works their 'tails' off. They get real busy and it's fun watching them tag team to get it done. This morning, we were in excellent care from Tasha upon checking in. She was thorough and reassuring. Bravo! When it was time, later that day, to pick up my groggy little guy, I was assisted by Caitlyn. Another home run. She very very clearly went over the discharge instructions. Means a lot. Hobie is resting nicely. He's going to be back to his ol fluffy self in no time. The other two? His brothers? Oh, they can't wait. LOL We luv Petluv.

I took my White German Shepherd there since we move from Maryland 6 years ago. My Asher was pretty…read moremuch very healthy except for the seizures he suffered since he was 5 months. Only visit the vet twice a year for his wellness exam. For the last 2 months we was sleepy and drank a lot of water, and I told the vet when he had the last check up. Nothing was recommended or done to look for the cause of this. The last visit was in April and they told us everything was fine with the dog. In May our beloved Asher died in 2 days without any previous symptoms. Later I found out that German Shepherds should be screen for cancer every 6 months after 7 years old because they are prone to develop cancer (Hemangiosarcoma) from the spleen. I feel the doctors in this clinic didn't give Asher the best care neither they offer preventing cancer screening (ultrasound/x-ray), which could probably help us to catch that deadly desease early. They didn't do anything even when I told them he was very sleepy and drank a lot of water, which is a sign of internal bleeding in German Shepherds. If you have a German Shepherd or other large breed dog, I advice you to take in your hands your dog's health, and if you go to this clinic, ask for prevention screening for Hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive type of cancer in dogs. I should have taken my Ashy to another place for his care because I feel Pet First neglected my dog, and did nothing to address our concerns.. Maybe if they did, Asher would be alive. I also would like to mention that during the animal exam, we told the vet that Asher has a lot of itchiness. She gave us spray for the elbows, because she said that probably he has an infection. We went home, and my son was playing with Asher and suddenly saw a flea coming out of his back. We found out that Asher has fleas and the vet didn't notice this in the exam. Please pets parents be aware of this silence desease and help your dog if you see anything unusual. My heart is really broken after loosing my baby Asher who was almost 10 years old and very healthy boy.

After treating My dog, and asking for her lab work, because they had her on the wrong medication…read morefor 8 days, I went and pick up new medication. I asked the recepetionist to email me the lab work. She got mad and call the veterinarian I was going to switch to and said (I don't know what). Highland Animal Hospital call me and said there was a conflict of interst. I also didn't know the Veterinarian I was coming from use to work for Dr.Young. Mind you we had just had are other dog there and Dr. Jenifer Altrvater said he was as safe there as University of Florida which is 7 in the world of teaching university thats saying a lot. Not only did they make a mistake and put fluid on his lungs. When he came in and they did a x-ray and they said is lungs were clear before his treatment with All Creatures Animal Hospital do to there x-rays. The 24 Specialty & Emergency Veterrinary Center said when dealing with a animal with Cogenerrous Heart Failure you should not keep them on IV tube, it should be giving though NG Tube to not give them to much fluid so you don't flood the lung are put fluid on them when there clear. Well they put fluid on my poor babies lungs which cause them to have to give him more meds to fix that problem, he didn't have before going to All Creatures Animal Hospital. Not that he was not all ready dealing with enough. It turns out that he had Liver Cancer and if we would of took him to a Internal Medicine doctor on Thursday he wouldn't of stayed 3 days before rushing him to the 24 Emergency Veterrinary on Saturday which cause him to SUFFER without eating , only being tube feed. To where the internal medicine doctor found out on Monday there was nothing they could do for him, because of his heart condition. So when I trusted All Creatures Animal Hospital because she said he was as safe their as much as being at University of Florida which is ranked 7 in United State. What A BIG MISTAKE I MADE. What are sweet baby boy went though wasting time there, when he should of been at a 24 hours Internal Medicine Veterinarian. where they wouldn't have had to overnight the medication that didn't work because he had cancer and he needed different medication for his inflamed liver. I will always wonder and beat myself up because the 24 emergency specialist and cancer veterianarin was able to help him, but he would not eat real food, after all that baby went through he just gave up and refuse to eat for them. So they let me take him home saying if maybe he would eat when he was in the comfort of his own home he would make it a little bite longer, but that didn't happen he was so upset and devastated he just didn't want to eat anything, I tried fresh chicken, salmon and liver but nohing worked. I fail my boy by trusting the wrong vet in the first place he had, had enough and to watch this just killed my husband and I. So he came home for one day before he left this earth and went home. R.I.P. OUR SWEET BABY GATOR. And as I sit here typing this as tears run down my face knowing I put my trurst in the wrong Veterinarian (ALL CREATURES ANIMAL HOSPITAL) There's nothing I can do but let you know how they operate their business. And at the beginning of this whole HORRIBE ordeal I had already had reservation of leaving him there and I stated this to Dr. Jennifer Altvater telling her he had never been left alone in all his 14 years. I told her he had always been at a emergency 24 hour vet, and she said he is as safe here as UF Small Animal Hospital. And sure enough on Friday when they put the NG Tube before they left for the evening. They called me the next day and said he pulled it out just like I said he would, because there was no one there to watch him. And that's when we know they were not able to take care of our fur baby the way he needed. She never told me they didn't have the meicine they were going to give him, are I would of never left him, I would of went straight to a 24 hour emergency specialist who would of had everything on hand. And found out about the cancer before the weekend and not let our baby go through only God knows what. VERY UNNECESSARY. And as of this day they never have reach out. So when they say this, I just think WOW what a joke. Integrity - Respect - Loyalty - Compassion They have don't even know the many of those works are if they did they would of treated us with them. Veterinarians with out EMPATHY!!!!!!
