Our 11 year old dog Sadie was diagnosed with cancer and we were told by our old vet it was inoperable. Months go by and Sadie is feeling fine but the tumor had grown to grapefruit size and another lump has been found. We took her to Kind for a second opinion. The very next day she was in surgery and the tumors were removed. We are not out of the woods with the cancer but we have clean margins on both tumors and it has bought us time. Sadie is able to move around without the hindrance of the large tumor and is feeling great. I cannot thank Kind enough for what they did and how quickly they did it. I've been using Kind for 2.5/3 years now. They're seen my cats and dogs, for regular checkups, surgery and emergencies. I absolutely love them!! *They are always kind and gentle with my animals. They take it slow and explain what they're doing. When they're doing curbside (where they grab my pets from the car) they make sure to still explain everything that is happening either over the phone or more common they'll come out and speak with me. *Time - in the emergency situations they respond quickly and appropriately, while also being calm and collected. We have had two separate situations where I had a pet with rapid breathing/respiratory issues. Both times I called, we brought them in and even tho it was obviously they were rushing to my animal they were being calm and incredibly kind to me and my pets. *Pricing - The pricing is always very transparent. I will also say that the price we payed for my cat's enucleation was very reasonable. It was of course expensive, just as any other surgery would be, but it was affordable and they did a price break down of everything. -normal visits and vaccines are very reasonable. *meds- when I've gotten prescriptions for my cats they are always super helpful and explain timing and dosage super well. When they don't feel like they have the proper equipment or you need a specialist they're quick to recommend someone. I have seen 3-4 different vets at this practice and I have really loved all of them. We've also been lucky to always have AMAZING techs! We are just so delighted we found Kind, and wish we had 20 years sooner for our Poms. After a visit with former vet, who told us our Pumpkin,pomeranian's ear canals were closed and she could not get anything in them, and giving some oral medications that made her violently ill , Dr. Lisa got in her ears right away, put in the correct meds, and with a couple of followups, her ear infection is gone . A couple of weeks later our other Pomeranian, at 15, Casey, had reached the end of her life, and we had never seen the compassion and kindness received by this top of the line animal clinic. as they performed our final act of love. As if that was not enough, aside from the beautiful card we received in mail, signed by all staff, the florist also arrived with flowers. UNBELIEVABLE. Dr. Catherine Brammer behaved with vitriolic anger when I told her that her policy of refusing to prescribe more than a one month supply of flea medication is ridiculous as I buy from Chewy and it is sold in 6 dose packages. She began screaming that she "doesn't deal with Chewy". I advised I was leaving. She slammed a door that I inadvertently tried to exit through, not knowing it was the wrong door. She then followed me into the reception area and continued yelling at me to "GET OUT". Dr. Catherine Brammer then cyber stalked me, found out where I worked and filed not one, but two complaints about me to my HR representative. She reported that I engaged in violence and trashed her office. Had this been the case, the police should have been called. I certainly did not engage in any behavior of that sort. Beware. read more

My Pitt Bull decided to square off with a large snake and sustained 5 bites. I had no idea if the snake was venomous or not. This has been our normal vet since we moved around the corner 2 years ago. All of a sudden, I went to schedule an appointment and they told me I wasn't on the account for the family dogs. Therefore, I couldn't make an appointment to get their ears checked... Lolol I literally paid $240 for a prescription here for the same dog 2 days ago, they had no problem selling that to me. Let alone the appointments I've been to since I've been here. Weirdest thing ever. And, at the worst time! My family is celebrating a new baby right this very second. Dr Mike has been so amazing with all of our pups! He found the best way to treat our rescue baby Bella after 2 unsuccessful treatments of heart worm. We thought we would have to put her down. He said she has a really good chance of living a full happy life! Our 2 new pup, Angel Grace and Nikita Kalen are loving their puppy visits and he has been truly awesome with saving us in costs with our growing fur babies! I have been a client of former Nature Coast Veterinary Clinic since 2013. Original owner used to go above and beyond in his care of the pet and costumer. We miss you, Dr. Hamilton! If I was running late, I would call letting them know that the cat was hiding and I was trying to catch her. Ms. Leslie would reassured me that they understood, just to take my time. At times, Dr. Hamilton would called back asking if I was alright. New owners of the practice Drs. Noyes, though competent lack that personal touch. Prices have gone up extremely high. Was tagged with a 75.00 fee for being late today due to cat hiding. Front desk manager Ms. Vanessa was curt and rude. Cat had developed an infection in left ear because Dr. July failed to clean that ear throughly the last time. Today, she left before I picked up the cat. You are made to wait in the heat outside and then fined for being late. I have to say, Ms. Tiffany vet tech, you outdid yourself. Still, 425$ for what it used to be 300$ and NO KINDNESS AT ALL. I just started using this location as my primary vet for both of my pups and Dr. Katherine Brammer was amazing for both pups routine visits and my younger pup's spay. My older dog, Lucy, is not fond of the vet and can be very snappy and nervous but she made sure to make the visit quick with minimal contact/overstimulation and kept her comfortable and happy. I have not had a negative interaction with Dr Brammer or Dr Julie Noyes however they both have been too busy to give each patient the time they deserve. I understand that this clinic is accepting new patients however don't take on what you aren't capable of handling, especially if it risks losing a client that was coming here regularly for YEARS. In terms of calling, Sam can be snippity on the phone and while she does answer questions, I would much rather them be answered by a licensed professional. After all, that's why I call the vet, to speak to a licensed professional. UPDATE: I wanted to clairfy, my reason for my one star review is because I feel like I am at the bottom of their list in terms of care and concern for my dogs. I hate having to find pediatricians for my grandchildren let alone having to search around for a backup vet. At the end of the day my husband and I decided it would be best to stick with Brooksville vet clinic and Dr Cooper at the clinic of weeki wachee exclusively because it's in the best interest of our dogs. read more

My beagle suffered heat stroke this summer-my regular vet couldn't accommodate the emergency-I called around and Kind was the only vet willing to treat him. They spent 3 days resuscitating him with fluids, steroids and antibiotics. At one point I was considering euthanasia as he was so bad off. However, with their care he eventually turned around. I wasn't a client of them either at that point-but I changed vets after that as I need a vet that "has my back" when the chips are down and an unexpected emergency comes up. He survived and is back to trying to get in the garbage per his usual beagle personality. read more

I have taken multiple animals here. Dr. Mike is amazing. He treats your pets as if they are his own. I recommend Dr. Mike to everyone. He saved my cats life and I trust him with my entire pack. However, there have been a few emergencies circumstances where Dr Mike was unavailable and we had to see whoever was available at the time. We saw Dr. Brammer and I have never been more disappointed in the medical care my dog got. We brought our dog Kusco in for a subcutaneous nodule that grew rapidly. Dr Brammer walked in the room and looked at the growth from afar and said oh it's just a hot spot. With knowing little to nothing about veterinary medicine we questioned it. Once she found out we work in the medical field on humans she takes our dog to the back and touches it and then takes a biopsy and said it's not a hot spot. The second emergency was recent and that is where I questioned how she got her medical license and is able to treat anyones animal. We brought our fur baby in due to having a seizure and being in distress post seizure. Dr Brammer did some tests and took some blood work and advised us that the results will be in the next day. The day we got a call early morning letting us know the blood work came back fine. No plan B was given , no other course of action was relayed. My husband called back and was told to give the dog food. Which infuriated us because Dr Brammer was not showing any acceptable patient care. Due to the history of horrible patient cate with Dr Brammer we went to get a second opinion that very same day. The vet we saw for the second opinion, advised us that our dogs blood work was NOT normal. He had low thyroid levels which was not told to us. The vet we got the second opinion on did a urine analysis, and triaged us like a normal vet would. She even took an X-ray and felt his anal glands. With the second opinion we got an answer to every one of our questions. Every answer that Dr Brammer could have if she would have done her job the way she was trained . I highly recommend Dr Mike I also highly recommend you stay away from Dr Brammer if you don't want to lose your furbabies. read more

The vet sounds very uneducated on what FIP is an allowed a kitten to die a terrible death as well as told recent adopters of this kitten that treatment is torture and doesn't work. Now we have a beautiful kitten who died do to the ignorance of this whole vet clinic who failed her. They also claimed the cat was anemic and if they could read a simple chart of CBC she wasn't. Avoid this vet formally Gulfcoast on Spring hill Dr. Dr. Julie and her Husband. I was sent to them buy another bad vet countyline. It started out well after spending $5000. Then they told me a pregnat female of mine who wasent felling after an xray was riddled with cancer needed a surgery they new she was breed. She had no cancer only a bacteria infection she lost her litter. $2500 OR MORE DOLLARS later. Not counting the litter lose. A sick pup she said I could treat at home she treated and kept sending me to the 24 vet on Deltona 4 days of treatment between the 2 $5000. It goes on . I had a Ch. Female Rott who was over due . I begged for a C section to save her pups was told not their specialty. My female went 70 to 72 by last breeding 10 beautiful pups we done to only 3 , 7 died. I could have lost my female. She said if they did the csection they would hsve wanted to do a spay. So this ace is not breeder friendly. Running if you your a breeder and go. Dr. Cooper is AMAZING. 1/4 OF their prices and better service you get to go in with your babies. Not sit in an over packed parking lot so they can overbook to make money. I spent over $15,000 in less than a year lost 2 litters of pups. This places has no heart for your pet they just bought the place and just want to make money. My new vet with many years of experience never heard of such costs. To treat 1 pup is totally un heard of. I asked for her records and was declined. Hmmm what are they hiding. Unless you have an unlimited wallet or dont love your babies run. This is what I've been through heartbreak and a drained wallet because I love my fur friends. Try Animal care of Weeki Wachee. You can go in your babies. Your wallet won't be empty when you leave he loves your babies. Many breeders use him he listens and won't want to spay your pet. My opinion of my experiences. We got our first dog when she was 8 weeks old, from a breeder, after all her routine puppy shots were done. Two days after we became her "parents", she became ill. She had bloody diarrhea and within 24 hours, she stopped eating, drinking, moving...Her stomach was making loud noises and she literally looked like she won't see another sunrise. We started looking desperately for a vet who would see her right away. We tried 5 or 6 places but they were giving us appointments for next day earliest. We truly feared she wouldn't make it till then. Then we called Kind Animal Care and were told to come right in. Dr. Julie examined her and did some kind of belly massage. She was not 100% sure if it was intestinal intussusception so she gave her also antibiotics and prescribed pain medication. Truth is, our puppy seemed already much better by the time we returned home. And next day, she was again full of spark! We are very grateful for Dr. Julie and Kind Animal care! Ok Folks so here it is. This place was owned by Dr. Hamilton who is a great doctor. Recently purchased by Dr. Mike and Dr. Julie. Husband and wife team. Dr. Mike is sensible and compassionate. Dr. Julie OH wow LOOK OUT. I would say the woman as a doctor is rather lacking in skills and bed side manners. She starts off well if you are in agreement with her. If you disagree with something or state your opinion "look out" she goes from 0-60 in 6.0 and she is not a car. She is very close to displaying Personality disorder. I feel sorry for the staff who are very loving and caring and kind. Unfortunately, I suggest that Dr. Julie change the name of the vet service. KIND animal care is actually an oxymoron. She is truly UNKIND. After thanking her and exiting her office because of difference of opinions, I told her I would not return. I would seek out Dr. Hamilton and go to his place in Tampa. Her response. "Enjoy your drive to Tampa"!!!! My response was wow, and you call that professional. I was never disrespectful to doctor or staff. Was even told by staff members I am not the first. After looking at reviews I see here that she has done the same to a lot of clients/patients. It comes down to ONE thing. MONEY. The disagreement was I brought in one pet with an appointment, I had my other dog with me. Day before got into a scuffle with housemate. She refuse to even look at my dog. Emergency visit was not called in. Really? Its like being at your doctor not feeling well you are present at office and your doctor refusing to see you!!!! SMH.
