Mr Kim here reminds me of mr Kim in the tv show Kims convenience. The way they speak is very similar. Mr Kim here is easygoing and approachable. He did my haircut in a pretty short time. Maybe 5-10 minutes. He did my husband's hair in a even shorter time. It is a nice neighborhood hair studio.

We had an incredible customer service experience with him recently, as she had an appointment booked Saturday at 7pm, but Yuhei was super busy and couldn't see us until about 745pm. We had dinner plans, so we rescheduled for the following day. Once her haircut was finished, Yuhei would not accept our money and said it was on the house for not being able to fit her in yesterday. For a job where it's physical labor, and refusing to take cash because of a small error takes alot of care in our opinion. I sat down with Julia pretty quickly and she took the time to look at my pictures of haircut ideas. She listened to what I was looking for and genuinely cares! All the staff were very friendly, and May cut my hair with lots of attention and care. She checked with me to make sure she was doing exactly what I wanted. The ambiance was just like your typical Korean Hair Salon. My hair stylist was Hailey and I asked her what she thought would look good on me and she gave me a bunch of options. I ended up getting a haircut + cold perm for $169 and a down perm for $40. The entire thing took roughly 2 hours. Hailey was really professional, meticulous, and communicative. I really enjoyed the result and I think the haircut looks great. I usually go to N15 but I did not have a great experience last time so I decided to try a new salon. I would definitely come back or maybe visit one of their other sister salons. And next time, I think I would skip the down perm. I think $40 is a bit much and I don't really think it is worth it.
