Not only are they a barkery (one of the best around by far) but they're a boutique and playground too! I took my boy (whose name is also Dexter) in for his birthday and we had such a blast. You can do serious damage shopping then to relax from all that fun, head outside and let the pups cool off in their many pools and shaded areas. Plenty of seating for their humans too. The owners and employees there are absolutely marvelous; SO talented and so sweet! There is a huge variety of goodies to browse- from their many treats, to clothing/accessories, toys and more. I'm so mad at myself for not knowing they were here years ago. We'll be making up for lost time and visiting whenever we can now!

If you were to host an event, you can bring your own decor and drinks. It was a total blast. Inside the bakery, there's TONS of adorable treats, ice cream, everything is made from scratch, healthy and organic for your pups. They also host every first Thursday a Bark & Sip to hang with your pups and friends. I can't recommend this place enough. Parking may be a little tight but there's street parking available.

The floors were nasty and not one employee seemed to notice, or if they did they didn't care. The fish tanks were equally disgusting; the goldfish tank had dead fish on the bottom of the tank with fuzzy rotting carcasses that no one bothered to remove. The other tanks were filthy with sick fish barely swimming. Needless to say, we turned around and walked out. This store should not be allowed to sell fish; they may not be fuzzy little creatures, but they are still living beings and should be taken care of as such. We will never go in that nasty place again.

Sadly, we will not be coming back to Polka Dot, nor will I recommend anybody bring their dog there.

She is friendly, attentive, and truly authentic in the way she interacted with both customers and pets. The staff was so sweet, patient, and engaging with her, which made the entire visit feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of stressful. On top of that, our experience with the mobile Vetco team was outstanding. The veterinarian and vet tech were incredibly kind, gentle, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything and making sure Chai felt comfortable and cared for throughout the visit. The grooming team (CeCe, Ozzy and Kim) do a wonderful job on my dog's nail trims. He's quite dramatic when getting his nails trimmed but they put him at ease and take their time to trim his nails well and shape them well too. I appreciate it when they know he's kind of anxious and treat him well with pets and positive reinforcement. They do such a great job. This location is one of the better organized and managed stores I've frequented. They have a good selection of food, treats, and toys for your furry friends and their staff is great.
