From the start, she was sweet and easy to like, though I'll admit I used to inspect my nails closely after each visit, looking for imperfections. A year later, my nails are healthier than ever, and those worries are long gone. I don't even stress about choosing a color anymore. Amy knows me well enough to guide me or pick something perfect when I can't decide. I've truly had the best manicures of my life this past year, all from this little shop. Amy is clearly loved and valued in the community. Many of her clients are locals, and even their husbands sometimes stop in for a pedicure! While a bit of patience is occasionally required since she's the sole manicurist, she is absolutely worth the wait. You won't be disappointed. She is extremely creative, highly skilled, and genuinely cares about her work. Whether you're a local or just passing through, give Amy a try, you'll be glad you did. She's terrific!

Everything is perfectly clean. They do a wonderful job on your hands (didn't get the pedi this time). They have a stamp card, and I believe the prices are less than or comparable to others. (Mine was a bday gift!) I seriously have not found a better nail place around. The only caveat is you have to go to White Rock. But there is free parking out front, and it is next to one of the best retro-diners in the entire city. Coming here really is like leaving Vancouver entirely. I am only withholding one star as mine smudged on my way out, but that wasn't their fault, and I was in a rush. I will return again so that I can give them a perfect five!

Too bad as I got them done as I was going on vacation.

The shop is nicely decorated, clean, and well ventilated. Lisa was my nail technician, and she was excellent. I got a fresh acrylic set with shellac polish. She asked me throughout the process what I wanted and to check and make sure what she was doing was what I wanted (nail shape, nail thickness, etc). She did a really nice job. She also didn't charge me to remove the UV gel set I came in with which was a nice perk. And she gave me a lovely hand and arm massage at the end, which not all salons do. Great service. One tip - it can be a little hard to find, because right now (July 2019) there's a large tree that covers their ship sign. It's off of Douglas Crescent down what looks like an alley sort of.

Had a pedicure and they did a great job .They have the plastic liners that they put in the foot bath that are disposable which is a plus if you are worried about picking up something . The product they use smells great ,Orange scrub . They have a huge selection of polish and they do a nice hot rock massage on your feet / legs .The shaw open wifi connection is not that great but they have a TV to watch .Marilyn was on . The price for the pedicure was $30 which is about what everyone charges . The lady who did my pedicure was the owner and she was very friendly and we chatted for awhile . I also had my eyebrows done by some else who works there . I am fair so there was some redness which is normal but it was a bit more red than I usually am .The price was a bit higher than I usually pay for this service but not much higher . I would definitely go back for another pedicure .I would probably also try the waxing again . It was less painful than usual but more red so it is a toss up. I would just need it done day before I needed to go somewhere. I did like that they have private rooms for waxing vs having your face waxed in public. Just an update after a few hours the redness went away so it really was not that bad.
