The owner justified it by saying that the sponge is used on you and is new - sanitary reasons for the $1. I feel as though it should be factored into the price. You don't go to a dentist and get charged extra after for sanitary extras. It's just in the price. So, we found that extremely odd but it wasn't worth the trip or the experience. The place I normally go was closed. So they said they'd do it and said it was $5.65. Normally it's $3-5 so whatever that's fine. (This is without colour, just two layers of gel). When I stood up to pay she said $5.65 and then when we got to cash she said $9.05. I repeated her and she said "Tax". Tax is 1.13%. Please don't go there. They charged me $10 ("only 9" is what she said to me) to fix one f---- nail, a full set - as I read on their pricing sheet - is $30. So unless they're actually charging $100 for a full set of gel nails with NO COLOUR she made a nice f---- tip for herself. Please for the love of god don't go here. Such a blatant rip off.

Had to ensure they agreed to the advertised rate of Pedicure $20 for Mon - Wed. But the worst part was that she made me bleed on not one but 3 toes!!! I brought my bridal party here to get our nails done for the wedding and my sister in law continues to visit here a year later. This is the first nail place I've been to where they cover your toes with oil and little plastic bags if you're wearing closed toe shoes. I don't mind spending extra time on the chair if the work is thorough. However, I spent over an hour and a half only to get very poor results. One nail had bubbles so she had to remove the shellac polish and redo. It still looked awful after. She put 4 coats of polish on one nail and two on the rest. I voiced out my displeasure to the owner, and she tried to help but the end result still looked terrible. The owner was apologetic and seemed sincere. A $5 off coupon for next service was provided. Although I appreciate the goodwill gesture, I don't think I'll return. Too bad because the location is convenient. Forgot to mention: their shellac light wasn't working on a couple of tables. Had to move chairs several times.
