I love Natural Grocers! I happened to be in Castle Rock for my cousin's graduation this weekend so I went to this location instead of the usual one I go to in Glendale. This one is quite a bit smaller and didn't have quite as robust of a selection, but I didn't need much. I like that they have 5lb bags of carrots which Glendale does not. The only other thing I got was a pound of nutritional yeast which is readily available at both locations. It was a good experience overall read more

Every employee at Natural Grocers Castle Rock has no interest in actually doing their job or being helpful in the slightest, because they don't know what they are doing. They don't know how to place special order, whether or not a special order was placed, where to find information on special orders ... and they can't apply themselves to figure it out. I've never come across an entire store that was so incompetent and lazy. Zero work ethic. Natural Grocers in Glenwood Springs has a helpful staff, who go out of the way to be helpful. And they have a clue as to how the store operates. Natural Grocers in Castle Rock is run by a feeble minded bunch. Unbelievable. read more

All their produce is organic, they have an immense vitamin and mineral section. Plenty of grain free products, eggs are always fresh too.

This used to be my favorite grocery store and I shop often and spend a lot here. I've grown increasingly frustrated every time I go now. I have to check my receipt each trip because often things advertised as on sale do not ring up at the sale price. If I don't catch it I had to get back in line for a refund and they say your card will be credited in 3-5 days. I always have to check expiration dates because there is often expired food on the shelves. Many of the cashiers do not seem to care when they screw up and have no customer service skills. I guess I will shop at Sprouts and anxious for Whole Foods to open. They will probably put this shop out of business soon. read more

Love the fact we FINALLY have a few options in Castle Rock for organic products! The employees are always so helpful and informative; their products are no different than the Whole Foods I visited in Los Angeles, and their prices are decent. One complaint though; I don't know if this is their "thing", but so far every time I've inquired about supplements, whether for detox - weight loss - or just health in general, they suggest I speak to their "On site Nutritionist". Well I did....and all she did was suggest their FRESH PRODUCE - which I can't afford. And every time I circled back to supplements I knew about and how they could work for me, she'd change the subject back to FRESH PRODUCE. How can a place who specializes in supplements have someone working there who's against using them? It was weird. Needless to say, I walked out and drove to the GNC in Parker (which sucked that I even had to do that....); where I know they take the time to educate me about the supplements that I put into my body. So now I know this Natural Grocers is good for grabbing groceries, having a nice chat with the cashiers etc, but not to ask advice on supplements. read more

Love love love this store. They carry seasonal organic fruits and vegetables. Meat is organic. Like a small European style market. The organic standards are stricter than WF. Larry the head cashier was a wealth of information on bread making. My new go to store for everything. read more

Service is the big star here. While this store is certainly smaller than the nearby Sprouts (and definitely smaller than any Colorado Springs or Denver Whole Foods) there are numerous similar food choices packed into it's petite location. Organic meats, fruits and vegetables, clean, non GMO choices for both your pantry and freezer are here and the prices are comparable to either of the aforementioned chains. Natural Grocers really excels with their selection of supplements, vitamins, and natural bath items. No surprise I suppose as they are part of Vitamin Cottage. Their staff is very well versed and happy to help when looking for something particular. That knowledge of vitamins and supplements is most appreciated as the selection can be daunting. Having said that, each time I've needed advice they've been able to point out multiple options, making me a fan. This location is quick and easy to get in and out of (unlike Sprouts) and usually not so busy that your time in line is longer than your time shopping. read more

This place is my absolute favorite place to shop period. Better than any of the others and the customer service is out of this world. All the employee's are fantastic and very knowledgeable. Also, they have the best selection of vitamins, minerals, ect...... that other places do not carry. I won't say the name of the heart supplement that they have because I love it and it's always sold out lol. Anyhow, can't say enough good about this place! Cashiers are also amazing. So friendly and professional. Management here is fantastic. And did I say that everything here is organic. You will not find that at other places. read more

Visited Natural Grocers today for the first time and was extremely pleased. We moved to Castle Rock from Virginia 3 weeks ago and I've been appalled at the lack of organic produce options at the other grocery stores I've visited. Natural Grocers is smaller than your typical grocery store - but you can get most of what you need here. I found the prices to be reasonable, if not cheaper than some of the other 'speciality' grocery stores in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

Love this store -- it carries all the organic and natural brands I buy for my family. Great selections without so many choices that it takes two hours to do my shopping! In my experience, grocery items are always less expensive than Sprouts -- plus, the items they carry are "clean" unlike at Sprouts where you still need to read labels carefully. Staff is also friendly and helpful -- the full-time nutritionist, Patty Moore, is a wonderful resource if you have specific questions about health and nutrition. This is our everyday store. We come in multiple times per week so the staff knows us. They're extremely friendly and very helpful. All seem knowledgeable about their products and have people in the produce, grocery, and supplements/cosmetics who are all very familiar with the products and ready to help with any questions. Their produce is all organic...no searching for good stuff as it all looks beautiful and without chemicals. They are not huge so they don't carry all 59 versions of every single product, but what they do carry is carefully selected to be the best. And it all has to have some nutritional value or they don't carry it...iceberg lettuce is an example of something they don't carry for this reason. We're gluten-free people, and they have a remarkably great selection of everything you'll need and want, all clearly labeled and very fairly priced. You'll find the prices are far cheaper than Sprouts and for sure, Whole Foods. Sale prices at Sprouts are still higher than regular NG prices. So if you are concerned about what you put in your body, you want healthy and organic food and products that are affordable for your family, this will soon become your favorite store, too! read more
