Going to miss this studio soooo much!
    Nicole S.

This is my 9 year old daughter's 3rd dance company in the past 6 years and by far the best! The owners are a family and have brought a family feel to the entire studio, she is firm yet kind to all of the children. Also, the students are sweet to one another rather than being overly competitive. One of the details that I love is that she hires professional teachers to teach her classes instead of constantly relying on older students like some other studios I have been to which trade classes for teaching hours. I think that having adult professionals teach classes is why my daughter's dance technique improved so much! We are moving to another city and saying goodbye to this studio is the hardest part of our move! This photo is from her "good-bye" with Shelly and her classmates. Having danced for 16 years, I would highly recommend this studio!!

David helped me achieve my weight loss and fitness goals in that time, and lost 35 lbs. If you have New Year's goals to get in shape, he will be able to help you. David created workouts specifically targeted for my needs, and along with weight loss helped me gain strength and mobility in a "bad" shoulder. Meal plans were drawn up to fit my likes and dislikes and easily kept me on the path to eating healthily and not going over my daily calorie goal. As a person, David is very easy to get along with. He can joke around and keep things light or get down to business and help push you on that last set. He is a good trainer if you are a beginner to working out and fitness, more intermediate, or even a lifetime fitness pro. He can adjust to you. David is very professional, punctual for sessions (or will text you even if he'll just be two minutes late), and is a great communicator over text or email. If you are looking for a good personal trainer, I would recommend David and MyFit.

Don't expect a drill sergeant yelling at you, he is encouraging and not bossy. I started this camp last year in preparation for my wedding and to drop a serious amount of weight and to improve my overall health as I embarked on a new step in my life. I was optimistic I would achieve my goals here based on some unique approaches I didn't receive elsewhere: - pre/post camp evaluations: body measurements, body fat,and weight. - consultation: about ANYTHING! Terrence and Nicole do their research and can answer any health and fitness question you have and make it specific to whatever your needs are. I have found this to be true both in my pre-wedding weight loss and fitness goals as well as currently returning post baby and still being a nursing mom. -genuine interest/investment: the staff at this camp genuinely care about their campers and want to see you meet your goals- this investment to meet my individual needs was not found anywhere else. - diversity: both the campers and the workouts- campers in each camp I attended were varying fitness levels so it keeps you motivated and gives you comfort at the same time if you're a beginner in your fitness journey. The routines are ever changing weekly and each month- and are definitely tough and rigorous! - nutrition challenge: customized menus and support to further assist your health goals. I just enrolled in this and will update my review with results at the end of the challenge. I could go on and on about this camp and why I've stayed and returned, but hopefully if you're looking for a challenging, yet supportive environment that will help you meet realistic sustainable health goals you'll just come check it out yourself!

Each class begins with a run followed by Terrence taking attendance. He then will do about 30-40 minutes of group exercising, and then wrap the class up with another run. Everyone is to bring with them a yoga mat, water, weights, and a towel. What I liked: * The workouts were things I could do on my own outside of a gym * Terrence took the time to demonstrate each move * It was nice getting outside of the gym and working out at the park * Workouts were a challenge What I didn't like: * The same class was offered for an entire week. I don't know about you, but if we spend a Monday session doing planks, one legged burpies, and squats, I definitely don't want to do the exact same workout on Wednesday. I wish they varied between routines session to session and not week to week. * Terrence very rarely showed modifications unless he saw you completely struggling. I would have liked a modification to be demonstrated for beginners, especially for 1 legged burpies. * Terrence was very nice, but not at all motivating * There was zero focus on your form, unless you hurt yourself. Again, this could probably be solved by providing modifications. * You spend 20 minutes of the hour you paid for running. Which you can do on your own. After a couple of sessions, I decided to cut my losses and went back to my morning Body Pump classes. This is perfect for some people, but just wasn't for me.

Summer 2026 Update!…read more Elite Member approaching my 500th (!) class soon. Hard to believe even with the pandemic shutdown, I've returned and stuck with this workout since my first classes in 2015 when Natomas first opened. Thanks to my former coworker for recommending Orangetheory to me after trying out her Elk Grove home studio, and I lucked out with past Natomas coaches Coach Lysandra, Coach Avery and Coach "Training Tall" Austin. Since my last review, Dharam is no longer the head coach, coach Milana is now at Carmichael studio, and now the head coach at Natomas is coach Conner. I regularly attend evening classes with Coach Dharam, Coach Rachelle, and Coach Thuy. Occasionally I'll take a class with Coach Josh or subs like Coach Amilia. The 3G classes are either HYROX-focused on Tuesday nights now, or downgraded to 2G sizes/format for Thursdays. Tread50s are also a later option for me, though the Strength50 classes tend to fill up. Instead of All Out Mayhem, this year they had Season of Strength. Next up for August is Marathon Month challenge, then the Fall Dri-Tri. Class check-ins are now on a tablet, treads and rowers both have the upgraded tablets, Y-bells replaced the medicine balls. There's even a brag bell for when you hit a PR!

I'm not sure if it's true but it makes me more attuned on which color zone I'm in which I've never been before. It makes me challenge myself to keep my heartrate up or down depending on what zone I'm in. Upon checking in, you choose which station you want to start with-- trends or the floor. Trends seem to be booked up first so get early if that is your preference. Personally for me, I like to start on the floor since the weights is what I want to concentrate on so I want to have full energy for it. Running is my strongest point so I don't mind saving it for last and I'm able to go all out and exhaust myself if it's my last station. On the floor, there is a rack of weights. The weights vary between odd and even numbers. The main difference is that the odd has 15 lb and 25 lb dumbbells while the even has 12 lb and 20 lb dumbbells. I choose between odd and even based on how heavy or light I want to lift that day. It's a no judgement zone and the only one your competing against is yourself. The class is only as hard as you make it be and classes are designed to be flexible as everyone is different. They have their own heartrate monitor that you can purchase or rent for $10 a class. It's not mandatory but I do like seeing my stats. With the monitor, it records your mileage on the trend and distance on the rower. It also tracks your splat points which is fun. I have the OTconnect Beat and the light will change color based on your zones. The music and overall environment makes the workout fun. The staff and coaches are really friendly.

We needed to lose 20 combined pounds in 6 weeks, and complete 30 combined workouts. We did it! The challenge was great, any RTC is unlike any gym or program I have tried before. The coaches and staff know who you are, are kind and accessible, and create curated workouts each day of the week. Highly recommend for ADHD humans who may struggle with maintaining a single routine. Additionally, the challenge came with an actionable diet plan with clearly outlined foods and portions that were real-world applicable. We were so happy with this new way of eating that we plan to continue it post-challenge. I didn't get to work out as much as I would like (my partner did the heavy lifting), but the diet was something I definitely could stick to and didn't have to think about or track every little thing. Highly recommend for someone looking for a place to start, and better with a partner!

Then I was told I need to pay for the next month in order to cancel even though I was on a month to month gym membership and the current month wasn't even over. I Was told I need to give them 30 days notice which was ridiculous in itself since I was told you can cancel anytime without needing to give reason or notice. Then when I said I don't live anywhere close to Sacramento they said there was nothing they could do because I needed to come in person to cancel or I would still be charged. And would still be charged for the next month without the 30 day notice I Ultimately had to bite the bullet and drive the 2.5 hours to cancel and was charged a cancellation but was told " you can still workout for the next month here". Wow so nice of them to offer me the month I had to pay for!! 0/10 wouldn't recommend.
