The person I talked with (Dan), said yes he would come over to clean. Dan, did promptly come and used his upholstery cleaner tool to clean the area and I appreciated his prompt response. At the time, it looked OK Dan also encouraged me to purchase their expensive carpet spot cleaner in addition to the $60 I was charged to clean the spot. Up to this point, I was a satisfied customer. The next day, I still had a brown stain. I called the office and asked if someone could swing by to hit the area again. Dan called me back late that day and went on and on about what a good job he did and that there was no stain when he left. I explained that regardless, there remains a brown stain and could he please come by and hit that area again He reluctantly said for me to call the office to schedule a time for him to come back. The office instructed me to call Dan, I did but then Dan told me I had to go through the office. For several days I would call the office and leave a message but my calls were never returned. I tried to use the expensive spot cleaner he sold me and that didn't work either. I finally did was I should have done in the first place. I went and rented a carpet cleaner and the spot came right out and my carpet looks good now. I don't know if it was the operator of if the Chem-dry method simply does not work as well as a conventional carpet cleaner. If a rented carpet cleaner can do a better job than their professional equipment, that does not say much for the Chem-dry process. Even though I had to lug a rented cleaner over and clean it myself, my biggest complaint was their refusal to come back or the courtesy to call me back ranks this company pretty low in my book.
