Do not buy this NSD platinum plus protection plan! I bought a new car and the dealer (temecula ca Hyundai) pushed this NSD plan. I had a tire blow out on the road and had to buy a new tire, I then filed a claim with NSD, they denied my claim because I didn't get it pre approved. Very bad customer service, they find any excuse not to pay a claim. read more

Unfortunately I cannot select zero stars. My wife had a blow out on her way to work. I contacted Tire Rack to utilize the road hazard warranty. They gave me the instructions on how to get it replaced. I went through the proper steps but could not utilize their website properly due to it not working at all. Tire rack ordered my new tire and informed me that once I file my claim I would be reimbursed. Nations Safe Drivers couldn't get me a tow truck for hours due to their systems updating. Every time I called it was a person pretending to be a pre recorded message telling me to try back later. I had to use my own insurance to get towed. This occurred on 2 December. My tire could not be replaced until the following day. Again I could not use the website still, tried multiple platforms. I had a claim in the system, once I was able to contact someone at Nations Safe Drivers they generated a new claim for me and wiped out the old one. They later denied my claim and said I never filed my original claim nor did I get their authorization to replace my tire! so apparently you're at the mercy of their garbage computer software and you must not order a replacement tire until about a month later after you attempt to file a claim. Companies like this should never be in partnership with ANY major tire distributor. read more

I'm leaving a one star review because I can't leave a zero star review. I have tried to use their service that was purchased when I bought my car on three separate occasions. Each claim has been denied for one reason or another. It's impossible to get someone to come out and look at the damage because they insist on doing it completely by texted photographs. On top of everything else the operator that called to tell me the last claim was denied could not have been more condescending. I am in the process of getting a refund for the balance of the service from my dealership in Santa Monica. Avoid these guys like the plague! They should be run out of business... read more

Spoke with Destiny regarding my Roadside she put me in hold for 8 min then hung up. I was locked out of my car in 20 degree weather. She finally called back and was very rude about gathering my policy information. Took 30 min of holding to get service. Terrible customers service! read more

Your employees are unbelievably rude and your service is the worst I have ever received from any company. I have already switched to another roadside assistance company as you clearly are incapable of preforming your contracted duties. Called for assistance with a flat tire but after almost 3 hours I was told they couldn't find any providers in my area to help. I knew there was a tow yard about 10 miles from me and the employee from this failure of a company told me to call them myself as she had tried but because she gave them the wrong information they couldn't help. After calling the tow company and confirming they could help I called NSD back as instructed and was told that they would call the tow company and and get them dispatched. The tow company came quickly after that and had me on my way but I then got a call from the extremely rude Ryan saying that they had incorrectly labeled my service call and would not be covering the costs because of an error that NSD made. read more

I wish there was a young investigative reporter that would do an expose' piece on this company. At this point they should just pivot to selling snake oil. Honda told me I was paying for a "tire protection package", it was sold to me claiming, "if you hit a pothole and need a new tire you can get if fixed and file a claim afterwards". WELL, NSD has rejected 2 claims because you have to get the claim pre approved. So if you get a flat on the road, just get it pre approved to get a new tire. That makes a lot of sense. Nation Safe Drivers is a SCAM, never falling for this again. read more

I'm the general manager for a large towing company, and NSD is absolutely the worst 3rd party broker to work with. Now, 3rd party brokers have ruined the repo business, and they're ruining the towing business, but NSD takes it to a whole new level. First of all, there's no reason for these 3rd party companies to even exist, insurance companies and roadside services can just do what they always did since the beginning of time and directly contact the towing company, but common sense isn't at a premium these days, so I digress. NSD (all 3rd parties, but especially NSD head and shoulders above everyone else) charge exorbitant rates to the party using their service, then try to be cheapskates with the towing company who is actually doing the work, whothey depend on or they wouldn't even be in business. For example, a heavy wrecker gets about 5 miles per gallon, and it's a skill to perform a heavy duty tow and the drivers are paid $20-$23 per hour at the very least. To tow a tractor locally, an insurance cpmpany would pay them about $800, they'll say their "contracted rate" (that nobody ever agreed to) is $100. Nobody is turning the key on a heavy wrecker for $100 and the job is a bargain at $500. Towing cars around town, they'll get paid about $125 and try to pay a towing company about $20. You can't even pay driver and cover the cost of fuel. The 3rd party does nothing and is totally unnecessary and they're greedy, everyone has to eat and they only care about being greedy. The people using their service would save money calling the towing company directly, who could do the work cheaper, yet still eat, instead of being insulted by this place. Also, most of NSD's personnel (not all, but most) are very rude and call like they're ordering you to do a job instead of asking if you're able to do it, and if staying in business is a goal, you really can't do their jobs. Plus, they'll lie all day to your answering service to get you on the phone, like call and say they're checking the ETA for a job they already paid you for. Now, you have no choice but to talk to them to clear matters up, but when you take their call, they just rudely "order" you to go tow a car 80 miles one way for $29.00. So, that's my experience with them on my end. As far as a customer of theirs, I don't know, but I can't imagine it's much better. The towing industry has to do something to push out the 3rd party "brokers" who do NOTHING but make phone calls, there's zero need for them and they're destroying the industry. read more

Worst possible experience. Filed a claim for a dent - paid the VW dealership an extra $1000 for the dent and tire coverage package - and it took a year of being jerked around to be told the "fine print" didn't cover any paint damage associated with the dent (which I can't even see). What a scam!!! Don't trust this organization. They are scammers and don't stand behind their policies. read more

The system was down for 24hours I had to leave my car and walk the next morning the agent told me she couldn't help me because I didn't have a producer code. I explained I had just recently obtained the coverage and my insurance company hadn't provided me with that number. She told me all she could do was find me a local tow service and I would have to pay out of pocket. I could have done that the night before had I known that. I'm glad I wasn't too far from home when this occurred. Not to mention the 800 number sends a text to your phone to determine your location and it kept stating there was an error. Needing assistance and having to go through such an inconvenience trying to get help with a service you pay for monthly was terrible. I would recommend getting triple A instead of a third party. read more

I have never in my life seen such an unorganized terrible claim center. I used Tire Rack to purchase my tires, and Tire Rack is such a great company however the claim center (Nations Safe Drivers) they use, has to be the worst claim center in existence. All the employees sounded like they were about to overdose on drugs, they had no clue what they were doing and were definitely not appropriately trained on claims. As much as I love Tire Rack, I will not be purchasing tires from them again solely because of how terrible Nations Safe Drivers is. If you get a flat tire expect to talk on the phone for 5+ hours to these idiots and wait months to receive compensation. read more

This company is a complete scam. We hit a 4x4 wood fence post that fell out of a truck going 70mph. We left the ground. We had to put on the doughnut tire and limp home. Our dealership determined that we needed 2 new tires and two new rims. These are tire experts. National Safe Drivers determined from two photos that these aluminum rims could be repaired and wanted the dealer to send the rims over 1000 miles to be repaired. Would not pay the claim. Waited several months. Finally gave up. This company is a scam. read more

Tried to process a tire repair claim thru this outfit (apparently a sub-contractor for Tire Rack). 1st they (instantly?) processing my claim for $25 (seconds after I submitted the repair invoice). This amount was nowhere on the invoice. When I questioned this a rep came back and said it was an error and the full invoice amount would be credited. 90 minutes later a Supervisor wrote to say the $25 was in fact too much since they didn't cover rebalancing the wheel (apparently even if an interior patch is needed) nor shop supplies. I did eventually find this exclusion buried in the terms & conditions, but clearly even their staff doesn't know about this sneaky little exclusion. I would avoid any purchase that involved Nations Safe Drivers as a 'service' provider or at least consider it of very little value. read more

On August 22, 2021, Nation Safe Drivers sent Commerce Towing company to tow my vehicle, My car was towed to Pepboys for a loose battery. My vehicle was making an loud noise.. He said he was taking responsibility and wanted to tow my car to be fixed. I decided I wanted my car to go to my dealership. The owner got very angry with me saying he was not going to pay for my car if he couldn't fix it. I contacted NSD to report the damage, claim #9343603. I been dealing with Troi. She has been telling me that she was trying to get tow owner to pay. She has been putting me off while my vehicle is sitting at the dealership. Absolutely the worst. They need a work confirmation before your flat tire can get fixed. So I sit there, wait for the tow truck to come, then they start fixing. I tell the repair people to call these insurance people and get a confirmation. The repair guy calls and gives them 95% of the information (English language issues with the repair guy). They don't have the mileage number but the guys fixes my tire anyways because I'd like to go on with my life. Claim denied because we didn't get prior authorization. Very unprofessional people. NSD allowed someone to cancel my Warranty without my consent. I purchased a Toy Hauler trailer that had the NSD Tire Warranty still active. I processed the necessary documents and paid the necessary fees to get the policy transferred into my name. The policy change took effect, and it was properly placed in my name. After the fact, NSD received a cancellation request from someone, other than myself, and they cancelled the policy. This cancellation request did not come from me, nor anyone representing me. They allowed an unauthorized party to cancel my policy. I called to get this resolved several times, and was told that a dealership sent it in with the previous owners request. This was, of course, and error on their part and they were working on a resolution. Every time I call, they say they will call me back and they never do! KATHY in the cancellations dept has comitted to me, on several occasions, to call me back and she has not. This is truly unfair business practices. NSD cashed my check right away, yet has no time to correct their mistakes by reinstating my policy. I've since had to replace a tire and had to come out of pocket $110 for the tire. read more

The absolute worst and trashiest workers my boyfriend and I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely lazy, unprofessional, and do not want to help customers in any capacity. Been trying to deal with a claim issue for some time now. We called multiple times, were hung up on multiple times. We finally get through, and have nothing but complete cunt ass females putting us on hold for absolutely no reason. Claim that they're checking on information during 5 minute holds, yet when they return they have absolutely no new information to give. Tried getting on a supervisor call back list, but then never get a call back. Call back to see why the supervisor never called us back because instead of a call back our claim simply got denied. Start dealing with another unprofessional bitch who says there's no supervisor in office, there's no manager in office, there's no number to call to get ahold of either, and again was simply just giving us the runaround like the first female. This bitch swore like she was running the whole company. They say their calls are all recorded and look up calls to verify certain information we're providing, yet when the information provided is inconvenient for them, all of a sudden "we don't have information from that call". So we ask AGAIN, HOW is it that we're suppose to get ahold of any kind of management, and we get hung up on once again. Seriously the worst insurance company EVER. If you ever get stuck talking to a Rashyna or Ciarra, hang up and try again. This whole company needs to retrain their employees, or better yet, this whole company needs to die out. I went to my Lincoln dealer who submitted the claim for me along with a second tire that they saw a nail in the sidewall and said it couldn't be replaced. Both tires I was told that they were denied . The blow out they claim the tire was not properly balanced which caused the tire to wear. Do NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! I purchased a brand new 2020 Hyundai Accent, and also got GAP insurance through NSD. This past august 2021 , I was in an accident and the car was deemed totaled. I owed 17,000 on my loan, all of which my insurance paid except for 997 dollars. NSD is denying the last 997 dollars. The whole reason you purchase gap insurance , is to ensure your loan is paid in the event the insurance doesn't pay it all. They will find every reason to NOT pay. This company is a scam! In short after reading all the bad reviews I won't explain my story however do not get coverage through them. In my situation I read and signed my coverage and they stilled delayed paying me what my policy covered. I sent Over multiple copies of my policy and talked with client relations. Basically guys, insurance companies try to low end you because they can and are trained to try to give you less or nothing at all. I recommend always read the fine print and if they don't want to pay what is in the policy coverage transfer to client relations. Even though they will do the same to screw you over none the less you can sue as long as you record them not willingly to pay you what is signed on your policy. You do not have to keep calling just record them and take it to a lawyer. They will file the lawsuit and if it's even 100 dollars, they will fight and have nation safe drivers pay their fee so you won't ha e to pay a lawyer as well as your time lost from job, not able to travel to work if your auto is down or in a shop. That's what I did and they paid up before my lawyer got involved and they shorted me 250. I know we get mad and all and they throw us in the loop but make sure you understand the fine print and make sure you have coverage for what you are fighting for. Even if you do not understand just take your policy to your lawyer. Auto insurance companies sell there product so they are not affiliated with NSD however they do sell their product. Lol what a joke. So plz guys you dont have to keep fighting them or calling. I recommend emailing them so you have papertrail @ client relations, voice record them but make sure you tell them that you are going to be recording them, and or mail/fax them so you have copies and take to your lawyer. Insurance companies have a limit of the amout they are willingly to pay so they will try to stay below that limit but if you reach a certain amount they will have to get a supervisor to approve it so it can be compensated. So do not always take the low end or first offer what ever. Make sure you get what you pay for and get the coverage you paid for and signed on the legal contract.I hope this helps you guys. Talk to a lawyer even if it's 100 dollars they will make them pay for the lawyers time and your lost time of work etc. read more

Do not get a warranty with this company. First off, if you make a flat tire claim, you will wait at least 2-4 hours for someone to show up. For people who are going to get a new car from Nissan, this is a very important recommendation about the gap insurer of Nissan Motors. This insurance gap is not good because we had an accident in a Nissan car in 2019 and after almost one year after the accident, they only paid us $300 when they were supposed to pay the remaining balance which was almost 4K. Not only that, but they never answered the thousands of calls and messages we made to them. We have struggled a lot and right now the dealer is giving me 30 days to pay the remaining that they were supposed to pay. I do not know why they are in the insurance market since this insurance does not listen to us and most likely take them to court because there are thousands of people that this insurance has scammed. When they offered it to me, they promised in case of an accident that they will pay the remaining and at the end they didn't even ended up paying 1/4 of it. They are pure lies and a false insurance that we need to take it to court so they can take away their work license for fraud against the community. read more

I had my tire claim denied as they said the tread on my existing tire was too low. I had a 3 inch nail/spike in my rear tire. I admit my tires were getting worn, but not sure why they denied the claim completely-they are not paying for replacement tire, changing of the tires, balancing-nothing at all, just completely denied. I have had this coverage for 6 years and this is my first claim. Kind of feels like when you pay year after year to your insurance company and the first time it you have a claim, it is denied. Since then, I have heard from others who had a lot of tread on their tires and had to "fight" to get the work covered. I have this coverage as being a member of the Motorcycle Owners of America. One should not have to "Fight" or "work at it" to get a claim covered. When you log into your account on their website they have a category "Denial Reason". Well this tells you everything you need to know. They do not have a category of "Reason for acceptance". read more
