Students can also print in the lounge (for a nominal fee). The instructors are really nice and are available for office hours if you have any questions. I went to UCSD for my first degree and I think that these instructors here at CSUSM Temecula are way more approachable. They all want you to pass the class so they are open to helping you succeed. It's close-to-home location is definitely a plus. The staffs are very patient, they're always there to help. The teachers are also very professional and children-friendly. We speak Mandarin to my nine-year-old at home, but her speaking and reading skills weren't even close to her listening skills. Every time she comes home from the class, she's eager to use the vocabulary she's learned in the class that day. I'm very pleased with the results as a father, and I will definitely recommend Temecula Chinese School to anyone reading this. The only concern that I have, is that apparently there are two Temecula Chinese Schools on google. However, after some encouragement from a friend, my husband and I decided to meet with Tiffany. I knew immediately that she was someone I wanted at my labor. Tiffany has amazing energy and a very calm spirit. Having a doula meant everything to us as Tiffany prepared us before the event and stayed with us as long as I needed her. One of the things I loved about having a doula is she gave my husband incredible confidence and support. We both felt prepared and excited before having our son. Do to some health issues, I ended up giving birth in the hospital. Tiffany was a rock for both my husband and myself. If it wasn't for her, I would have gone to the hospital many times before I needed to. She answered all of my calls and texts and was right there with me when I was ready to go to the hospital. I was already 8 cm when we arrived! I could go on forever, but I will end this by saying every pregnant woman should have the individual support of a doula. Unfortunately, my original barber did not show up until around 4:50 PM. When I politely asked what happened, his response came across as dismissive and unprofessional rather than acknowledging the delay. After driving all the way from LA and waiting well past my appointment time, that was disappointing. That said, I want to give a huge shoutout to Uriyah (I may be misspelling his name). When I explained the situation and requested a different barber, he handled everything professionally, respectfully, and without hesitation. The school was extremely busy, but he listened and found a solution. I was reassigned to Andrew, and Andrew was absolutely 5 stars. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. We had great conversations throughout the appointment, he made me feel comfortable, and he was incredibly kind to my dog as well. His attention to detail, positive attitude, and genuine care for his craft completely turned the experience around. So while I'm giving the school 4 stars because of the initial appointment experience, Andrew personally earned 5 stars from me. He completely salvaged the visit, and I'd happily book with him again. I had to ask 2 times how much longer until im called back, the receptionist went to check but did not give me an update. The instructor did not check ONCE on the student. My daughter went for a cut. Her hair was to the middle of her butt. She asked for 4 inches off. They cut to her bra line. She wasn't able to see how much was being cut since she was cutting from the back. Afterwards my daughter was very upset. She told her this isn't what she asked for. The girl was not apologetic until she noticed my daughter looked down. Seeing different lengths of hair. She probably kept messing up and continued to cut. She left upset and crying. I called the school to speak with a manager and have yet to hear back. We understand this is a school and they are still learning. An instructor should be checking on them more often so these mistakes don't happen. It's just hair and I had to remind my daughter of that. But cutting off more than double what was asked is unacceptable.

If you treat people with respect, you get respect in return. That's clear in some of these reviews that there was no rapport or relationship with any of these people and the school. Are you surprised the school told you no to pull your kid out because you missed them??? Wait 2 hours and enjoy them after school. The school doesn't owe you anything...ever...except to keep you child safe while they learn. And this school does both very well. Highly rated be Great Schools for a reason. My family has only ever had one teacher we didn't care for and her contract was not extended from what I understand. The staff and administration do care for these kids and do a wonderful job educating them both academically and socially. On May 1, 2026, two students admitted to using a school-issued iPad and Google Translate to program the device to say, "Amir is a N-word" out loud in the classroom in front of other students and staff. As a father, I expected an incident this serious to be handled with transparency, accountability, urgency, and concern for my son's well-being. Instead, I was left with more questions than answers. I had concerns about how the incident was officially classified, what consequences and protections were put in place, how the students would be separated from my son, how staff would prevent retaliation or additional harassment, and why my son could potentially be the one removed from a classroom if he felt uncomfortable rather than the students responsible for the incident. I was also disappointed with the lack of transparency surrounding the investigation. I was not provided the information I requested regarding the iPad, how the device was programmed, screenshots or messages, or other documentation related to the investigation. My experience communicating with the administration made the situation even worse. A meeting was changed to 8:30 AM without me receiving written notice, an email, phone call, text message, or updated calendar invitation. I was later told that I had verbally confirmed the change, which I disputed. When I attempted to address my concerns in person, I felt dismissed and disrespected. My experience with Principal Jenniffer Aynesworth was particularly disappointing. I felt that instead of having an open conversation with me as a concerned parent, my concerns were not given the attention they deserved. I was also frustrated that I was unable to have the conversation I was seeking with Assistant Principal Cassandra Grace regarding the situation. This was not about a minor disagreement between children. My son was specifically targeted with one of the most offensive racial slurs possible, using school-issued technology, in a school environment where he should have felt safe. As a parent, I expected the school to communicate clearly, provide transparency about what occurred, protect my child, hold those responsible accountable, and treat me with respect when I advocated for him. Based on my experience, I did not feel that standard was met. I hope Alamos Elementary and the district take situations like this seriously and improve how they communicate with parents and respond to incidents involving racial harassment. No parent should have to fight this hard simply to get answers and ensure their child feels safe at school.
