They tell you to fill out a survey prior to the visit but when you click the link it's to enroll you in the school. At this point it's harassment and not to mention the fact that I did confirm it already with them but still they won't stop calling and leaving voicemails for me to enroll before coming.

Ok. This school deserves a 5 star review. This school from day one has been amazing, so supportive, enthusiastic, and I had the greatest experience from the teachers including Ms lynda - Every girl that I've ever come across in this class has been impeccable, amazing, outstanding words cannot say enough of how deserving the school is each and every girl from day one!!! The school from day one prepares you gives you all the knowledge and teachings you will ever need for an aesthetician they give you bookwork, they give you test, hands on training can you even get to work on clients and they can book appointments with you Tuesday through Friday at 5:30 and 730 appointment times they teach you everything from waxing to using high frequency microdermabrasion, and chemical peel with enzyme peel's you name it they will teach you everything. Miss Felicia was 100% correct when she said the esthe girls have a bond like not other. I've walked out with friend for a life time, and a school experience I'll never forget. Not to mention when we all graduate individually we get a potluck and the tunnel!! With all the barbers and esthe girls in support of our success. Thank you thank you for giving me a career I absolutely love.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!…read more Wish I could give it 0 stars! Can't believe this POS is still even open! I attended the Esthetics course for this school from 2003-2004. I (like so many other students, more then half!) found it almost impossible to finish on time because the school was so boring. It took me a year but I managed to finish those boring hours eventually! I wasn't aware that Paul Mitchell existed until after I had signed up here but 16 years later am STILL sorry I didn't transfer there instead despite the fact that it was 3 times more expensive. Well worth it if you ask me! We NEVER had any "clients" to work on so we always had to practice on each other which was terrible because we didn't get enough real experience. My teacher was a very nice woman (the only nice thing I can say about this school! I did like my teacher ok!) and she noticed I was struggling and the school made the offer that I could go to night school if I needed to to get my hours that way. That made it worse! The teacher was only there from 9-5 everyday so I wasn't even being supervised after 5 pm except by the cosmetology teacher who spent her time telling me about her special diet. I pretty much paid them to sit after hours in an empty classroom and they actually let me!! All of this isn't even why I HATE this school though! My real motivation is the fact that right after I graduated I had a baby and became a stay at home mom, so I didn't go for my license but obviously still planned to. About 7 years went by and I couldn't find my proof of hours because they were repossessed in my storage unit so I contacted the school about a new copy of my proof of hours. The snotty woman on the phone informed me that "they are legally required to only hold onto those records for up to five years and it had been seven, but since it had been so long I should probably go back to school anyways since I probably don't remember anything anyways". First of all, this is NOT rocket science and I have a photographic memory so I actually remember 3/4 of what I learned despite the fact that it has been 16 years now! I recently reached out to the state board because I apparently forgot to finish paying the last quarter of my student loan off (darn) and have been denied financial aid to community college today because of it. While I was checking that info on the government website it showed that I attended the school from 2003-2004 and in fact graduated, but naturally that is NOT enough proof for me to take my test! The only proof I can use is from the school, who apparently wiped their asses with it years ago. Thanks guys! Btw, I paid a little over $2000 back in 2003, today they charge $10,000! I would rather stab myself in the eye then pay another school like this that much money to "retake my hours" Hope this helps! Please do check out the reviews that are "not recommended at this time" as well. There are 18 of them and half of them are bad! Sneaky sneaky!!

My son recently attended EMT school at this location. We chose it because it was the closest to…read moreour home in Temecula. My son was doing well in the class up until the final. The final exam required 80% to pass and he had a 79%. Subsequently, they dropped him from the class. It seems that failing the final, regardless of previous class performance is an automatic drop. There is no re-take allowed. We accept responsibility for my son's failed performance but...I feel that there are some broader (very unusual) circumstances at play which future prospective students should be aware of. 1) My son's class started with somewhere around 33 students By the time of the final it had dropped to somewhere close to 14 Only 6 students passed the final as we understand it That is a sub-20% completion rate Which means that this school is equally stringent to the Navy SEALS BUD/s training? A quick search of Google shows that the average completion rate for EMT schools across CA is about 60-65%. Therefore, this 20% statistic is a red flag for me. 2) The school will not allow any immediate re-takes of the final. When you get dropped, they immediately send you emails on how you can pay another $1500 and re-take their entire course for your second shot at the final. But that is the only way. Proving that there is no moral objection to a re-take by the instructors. You just have to pay for the course again for the attempt. This policy also raises a red flag. 3) Further, I find this unusual given that the NREMT exam can be taken 3x before remedial instruction is required but this school's exam cannot. I also find this policy disheartening as not all students learn best in an academic setting or test best with timed exams. The fact that some students struggle with standardized testing but excel in practical application is a known phenomenon. Therefore, it seems rational to give at least 1 re-take attempt. Even in my days at USMC boot camp, recruits who failed the rifle qualification were given 1 re-take. This is another red flag for me. When I look at these policies...which I am sure were enumerated in whatever forms we signed at registration, as if that is an excuse for bad policy...I am flabbergasted. 1) This school (at least this class) had an attrition rate equal to Special Operations forces, 40% lower than state averages. 2) This school does not allow a final re-take. Well...they do but you have to pay another $1500 and go back through the whole course. And they will be very quick to spam you about that option (and a potential discount enticement) as soon as you get dropped. 3) This school does not allow a final re-take despite the fact that the NREMT that they are "preparing students for" allows 3 re-takes before requiring remedial instruction. The combination of these things is unfortunate and leads me to a conclusion that I hope is incorrect. I feel, based on me and my son's personal experience that the school's model is prioritized more on filling their seats and their pockets rather than helping solid kids with lots of potential become EMTs. I have written this post after careful deliberation as I want to be objective and non-emotional. At the end of the day, my son failed to meet the 80%. That is on us. But the other statistics and policies that I revealed are not about our personal situation and they are things that could affect any student. If I have stated anything non-factual, I am open to correction by the business. I have put forth the information as I understand it. And yes, I have spoke with the business owners via email in private dialogue before I made this post. They did not challenge my assertions. They simply pointed to their policies and said that they "disagree with my characterization." As their response was vapid, I feel it is my duty to write this review and warn others: Do your research and look at the options before you choose SOCAL EMS as your course provider.
