In the children's area there are all the usual park play equipment plus a paddling pool. There is seating as well and is nicely grassed. There are tennis courts, a basketball court, bmx and skate areas as well as another fenced off area away from the childrens play area. No dogs are allowed in the fenced off areas. There are paths all the way around the park, there is access from several different directions and plenty of on road parking.. There are toilet facilities. It is also disabled friendly. There are some beautiful really old trees here. There is also a Bowling Club attached to the park.

The only downfall is the decor but that doesn't really matter when all you're going there for is exercise!

For Tide Times: http://www.sidmouthherald.co.uk/sidmouthherald/flatfiles/tides/tides.aspx There are no longer lifegaurds on the beach, but the sea never has large waves in the summer, so not for surfers I'm afraid. The lifeboat is always there ready for any emergencies. There are some great rock pools when the tide goes out, head towards Jacobs Ladder. the beach doesn't have an EU Blue Flag (2009) because of the Napile which meant that this year some oil spills were found on the beach. this is no longer a problem, I see the beach every weekend and I haven't found a oil spill so don't worry. Top tips 1 - don't swim between the two rocky sea defences in the sea, people get in to trouble (however good you are at swimming) 2- good at low tide and take a bet for rock pooling, you'll be amazed what you can find! 3 - generally head away from the town for more sand! 4 - take some sun tan lotion, a BBQ and some drinks for the ultimate day at the beach

Dunsford Wood is owned by the National Trust. This stunning wood combines beautiful old oak…read morewoodland with hazel dotted about. We visited in mid April and were lucky enough to catch the last glory of a sea of daffodils covering the glade. There are 2 paths, a bridle path through the woods, but I recommend taking the lovely path along the River Teign. Some of the oak trees look ancient and wise and are covered in a thick fur like moss, I couldn't help stroking the trees like a dog! We were lucky that the day we went was a glorious sunny day which displayed the River Teign at its best with sunlight dappling off the water and the trees reflected brightly on the water. In places there are sandy river banks making little 'beaches' - perfect picnic-ing spot! Sadly we didn't see any fish which we were were surprised about as the water looked so clean. We did spy a couple of deer that were well disguised by the trees, you won't spot them unless they are moving and you are actively looking for them. We walked for 2 hours, to and back from our car, I'm not sure how long it would take to walk the whole route, we were most definitely ambling however as there was so much to see and do. The bluebells should be in bloom in May and I would love to go back and see them. Dunsford wood is a magical place, I imagine it would be special to visit at any time of the year.

This is a great place as a driving range for golf. The prices are very reasonable, currently at £3 a session. It is very good for groups of friends, even with no prior knowledge of golf. You do not need to have any previous experience and it is a great way to introduce a sport. It is possible to buy 'second-hand' equipment. Great for getting an interest in golf, especially in younger adults.

Every time I was thoroughly impressed by their loud fans and really passionate, adorable team. I can't help but give them a 5 stars because it's one of my fave teams to watch in the lower leagues. So they play in red and white and are over 100 years old. This cute little south western team in a lovely region of the country have a lot more going on than meets the proverbial eye. For example, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and Noel Edmonds, and Joss Stone, are all fans, and Joss was introduced to the crowd as a fan at a Liverpool cup game... weird. And more weird is that Uri Geller and, yes, Michael Jackson, were directors of the club. Idk why. Also add in the fact that ECFC are owned by their fans... and that they fell out of the football league, made it back in via the play offs and then got promoted to League One the next season, and you can see there's a bit of spoon-bending magic going on here. Anyone that's connected with Michael Jackson has to get 5 stars from me.

If you want to play sport in Exeter then I suggest you try the university as it is cheaper and has better facilities.
