The accomodation available includes, chalets, flats, bungalows, caravans and the most gorgeous lodges. If only I could strap a lodge to the roof rack, they are amazing. The site is level, (bar the speed ramps), and there are accomodation specifically for wheelchair users. The site has a great entertainments programme with both day and night entertainement. The evening cabaret includes shows, bingo, kids games. The passes are included in with the price of the holiday. There is an extensive indoor swimming pool, which is lush. this is a family friedly site and I would highly recommend it. The site is a gentle 10 minute walk to the beach.

We found the park to be lovely, the reception is like a Spanish Hacienda and there's a very tropical feel to the whole park with lots of palm trees and sandy open areas. The accomodation we stayed in was top notch and disabled friendly. The clubhouse was spotlessly clean and the staff were so friendly we knew them all like friends by the end of our stay. The food onsite is great, much better than the normal food in places like this. The entertainment is fantastic and there's no fees for passes it's all included in your holiday, there's tons to do in the local area, I heartily recommend a holiday here you will love it and the beach is wonderful.

I have tried quite a few sites since I bought my motor home, and this place went straight to the top. Outside and inside swimming pools, heated which surprised both my wife and I,lovely little pub downstairs that does good meal's pretty much all day, upstairs bar with entertainment, good gym, caravan's to rent, static and mobile, and cabin's with hotub's. For me,lighting in the evening was good, even has a light on top of the pitch hock up's points for those who arrive late, great shop, great shower block and toilets, spotlessly clean,( just wish that people who use them just put a mop around after you have used them), spacious pitch's,great view's of the country side, bus stop outside site to Dawlish, according to me there is nothing that anyone can moan about with this site, it's brilliant and will be returning again very soon

Now on our third year staying at this site for a week and pre-booked for next year too. Great service from the friendly staff in reception. It has its own pub "the Swan" which serves a selection of meals including a breakfast. There's a site shop and also a chippy. Just outside the pub there's a patio area leading onto an open air swimming pool, so mum and dad can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a drink. There's also a family room upstairs, not ideal if your offsprings in a buggy! By car its around a five minute drive into either Dawlish or Dawlish Warren or there's a bus stop just outside the site. It has several fishing lakes for the keen angler and wooded walks for the naturalist, one of which takes you to Dawlish Warren, Its a steep climb back at one point so go easy on the clotted cream at the Warren.

Imagine staying in your own little clock tower, all rickety and all yours. And all in a rather cute…read morelittle village. Peters Tower is just that. It's not showy, there are no bells and whistles, but it's really very fabulous. I like staying in unique places (I'm really not a Premier Inn kinda girl), and Peters Tower is certainly that. And you also get a heck of a view as well. I love that it's part of the Landmark Trust, they rescue so many stunning properties and then preserve them and let people like you and I stay in them. OK, despite the five star rating it's not perfect. There are some things that people won't like. The clock chimes for a start. You'd think that as this is a clock tower, you'd expect the chimes. But you don't really. And they start at 7am. I didn't mind them, but I can see how people would. Especially as the bedroom (with bunk beds, how cute, if slightly unromantic), is right by the clock itself. It's not deafening, but unless you were here a few weeks to get used to them, they will wake you up. They're done by 10pm though/ And the other thing, it's 45 steps to the top (yes, I counted). So if you've left something in the bathroom, you've got a heck of a trip back down to get it. I could feel my calf muscles after my weekend here recently. But I don't care about these little annoyances. Foibles, if you will. Sure, I've stayed in snazzier places, yes I've slept in bigger beds. But it's so much fun here. Every single window has a stunning view. Either of the village rooftops or the estuary and 'beach' (as we calling it a beach? it's kind of like a beach). And those views are stunning. Boats, little castles, seagulls, all sorts going on. You're right by the water, you're all high up, you're kinda like Rapunzel. You have everything you need, in a really unique place to call your own for the weekend, and it's costing you less than £90 a night for the entire tower. It won't be for everyone, but I'm smitten.
