Once you venture into this place you will fall in love, it is a clean, warm, well cared for, and homely too.The quality of finish is superb, the rooms are compact but never cramped. The beds are very comfortable and the ensuites are very well equipped. There is freeview flat screen tv in every room. The breakfast is of superior quality and you can have what you want! This wonderful Hotel/B&B is in a perfect location it overlooks the beautiful little harbour with commanding views of the entire Torbay. When we return to Brixham, we will be using this place again. We are choosy people and do not settle for second best. Harbour View, Steve, Stuart, thanks, you are a perfect combination.

I thoroughly recommend this B&B…read more Rosemary (the owner) is very welcoming, and makes you feel as if you've known each other for years. The building is a beautifully converted barn on a dead-end country road, with central breakfast area and a galleried upper floor. Every fitting and piece of furniture is of the best quality, and the beds are very comfortable. In spite of a bereavement in her close family just days before our arrival (of which we were unaware), and having to look after another relative on the night of our stay, Rosemary found time to surprise us with a lovely warm fruit compote to have with our breakfast, having placed it in the Aga the evening before. Anyone reading this, please don't be put off by what you might think is a slightly high price: you really do get what you pay for, and it's worth every penny (as repeated numerous times in her visitors' book!).

Still, inside, you pretty much get what you paid for - which is an Edwardian style B & B, for not a lot of outlay. The Edwardian offers quite impressive rooms with four poster beds and nice antique touches, for very reasonable prices, so if really retro is your thing, you'd do worse than to invest in a stay here. Breakfast is a respectable full cooked English or toast and fruit etc, unremarkable but well prepared. The staff are polite and friendly, all in all a very satisfactory service.
