National seating and Mobility has the worst customer service department on the face of the planet. My husband has had a wheelchair with them for many years. My husband died because his wheelchair was in operable and it took them so long to figure it out and order the parts and now I am stuck with an air repairable wheelchair that they will not even attemptto help me get rid of in my opinion. They are just out to scam and make money from Medicare do not use these people because they will take you for every penny you have and then leave you dead in the water and your most vulnerable time. read more

I placed a call to NSM because our power wheelchair had a strut that had come apart. I was on hold for a while and chose to have NSM return my call when a rep was available. I received a call back from Tony Evans in the Houston office and by video conferencing he was able to give me directions on how to repair the chair. Additionally, Tony gave me tips on how to adjust the chair to better fit my wife. This was far more effective than sending out a technician to repair the chair. It was like he was there with me looking over my shoulder coaching me. By far the best experience I have had with NSM. read more

Yesterday, Lee Shelton came to my home to install my new tires. This is the third or fourth time that he has been here to help me on different occasions. Customer Service Is very poor . Staff needs to be trained on how to treat people with dignity and Respect.

I worked for national seating and mobility for 2 years until I found out they were engaged in Medicare fraud by charging money to Medicare for home modifications that Medicare was not supposed to pay. They undisclosed the amount of money for home modifications because Medicare would not approve the big money jobs. When I reported my findings to my supervisor , they let me go with the a bogus excuse. They are currently under investigation for Medicare fraud. read more

We have been customers for over two decades. We have nothing but good things to say about the service and technical quality of the people there. A number of times our daughter Gabrielle has needed to have emergency service for her wheelchair. National Seating scheduled an appointment for that morning or afternoon. When something fails in a wheelchair, it's always an emergency! We especially want to give a shout out to Kendrick whose courtesy and expertise is superior. read more

They do not even deserve one star. The customer service is non existent. I have had this power chair provided by them 1 year. They do not return calls they are not helpful. I ask repeatedly for information. Getting assistance is like pulling teeth. I have been paralyzed and a wheelchair user for 30 years. DME providers are notoriously lousy. They run through a lot of help. The guy named Rico sold us a chair (our second from NS&M) and didn't listen to what we needed. We wanted light and easy to get around, yet durable. After measuring, IT TOOK NINE MONTHS FOR THEM TO GET IT IN. And when they finally did get the chair in, it was uncomfortable, heavy, and much tougher for dad to get around in. Dad uses he old broken chair mostly because the new chair is too uncomfortable. Some of the people that work there are good, but their business model reflects the only game in town. read more

I have never had a problem getting a wheelchair. I was seen in December 2015 to get measured for my wheelchair and I still have yet to receive the chair. I get the run around every time I call to check on the status of my wheelchair. I asked the person who measured me how long it would take to get my chair and he said at most 3 months. They just finished the paperwork and got it approved April 15th. I have never had it take this long to get a wheelchair. read more
