6/12 update: Called their office - it is obvious they truly believed in themselves and speak highly of themselves on their standard of care. I can only agree to disagree. The level of care they are showing me today is 7 years too late. ========================== She performed surgeries on me twice. I was told everything went well, both times. However, findings from years later would say otherwise. I have records to back this up. Not to disclose the medical details, but here is a peak: During a scheduled office visit two weeks after the 2nd surgery, I shared with the office staff (maybe a nurse) the specific questions & findings I need to ask her that day after they checked in. I was told Dr. Danilyants will see me shortly after they took my blood pressure + heart rate. Then, 15 minutes later, that same staff/nurse came to tell me Dr.Danilyants CAN'T see me today. No calls or anything from her or her office EVER SINCE. That says a lot, ain't it? read more

I kept this appt even after booking my surgery with another surgeon because I wanted a second opinion & boy am I glad u did because I feel so confident in my choice now. Im getting ready for my third endometriosis surgery & I wanted to be thorough & hear from multiple surgeons. I know this may be people's only option given it's in network & that's hard to find but if you can, do not go here. I was shocked at how many red flags there were during my consultation & what a HUGE difference there was between her & the other surgeon. The biggest red flag: not only didn't she ask me to get an MRI before my appt so she could know what's going on inside me but she's not even equipped to read an MRI disc in the office, which means she only goes based on the report from the radiologist. HUGE PROBLEM! At this stage in Endo diagnosis & research, you should always have an MRI first & your surgeon should read it themselves, know what they are looking at themselves & make a plan for your surgery. She flat out admitted she wasn't going to have a plan, she'd just stick a scope in me & see what's in there. Other red flags: she dismissed several of my symptoms, saying I should just see a GI doc because Endo doesnt cause diarrhea & asked if I went on a specific diet for IC. She said Id be fine after a week, could go back to my job as a personal trainer!! & that there weren't any restrictions after surgery. And doesn't believe pelvic floor PT is necessary even when getting a hysterectomy. She flat out said there's nothing she can do to prevent more scar tissue during surgery. She pushes Orlissa as an alternative, which is a terrible drug! She didn't read a single page of my two folders of medical records they asked for & didn't even bring them into the appt with her. She asked me to list my symptoms vs the other surgeon who asked me about 40 very specific questions to understand exactly what he needed to know about my disease. She didn't do an exam on me. She ignored my shoulder pain & shortness of breath & didn't follow up to discuss diaphragmatic endo. When I asked about robotics during surgery she says she was trained before they were a thing so she doesn't use them. She was smug & dismissive, unqualified & ill informed & I am horrified that anyone who can't afford out of pocket costs has this as their option as a specialist. I'd say I was floored at how badly this appt went but then again those of us with endo are freaking used to this. I just can't believe this is what we get from a so called specialist after dealing with it from every other doctor! read more

I recently had a partial hysterectomy at The Center for Innovative GYN Care because I struggled with fibroids. Initially, I tried UFE at another facility because it was the least invasive option, but unfortunately that procedure did not work for me. It eventually helped with the pain that I had due to fibroids, but it did not help to shrink the fibroids as I had been told it would. Additionally, the recovery time was supposed to be a week, but it took me 2 months. During that time, recovery was very painful. After I healed, I waited about a year to see if the fibroids would get smaller. They didn't. I followed up with my gynecologist to discuss other options. She suggested a hysterectomy because I am older and not interested in having children. She referred me to Dr. Danilyants, and I immediately had a consultation with her. Dr. Danilyants was very patient with me. I had lots of questions and I was nervous because I'd never had surgery before. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions while explaining the procedure to me. During my entire experience from the consultation to recovery, Dr. Danilyants and her team provided excellent care and superior customer service. My recovery was much easier than I expected. I was able to walk and take care of my basic needs as soon as I arrived home from the facility. The pain was minimal. I took the strongest pain medication for only 2 days to stay ahead of the pain and ibuprofen as needed for 3 days. What surprised me the most was that there was no bleeding and my incisions were so tiny. I felt good in a week, and my incisions were fully healed in 2 weeks. I'm so happy to feel like myself again! Having the surgery has improved my quality of life. My largest fibroid was almost seven pounds. I looked pregnant, and my self esteem and mobility suffered because of it. I'm thankful for the staff, doctors and nurses for taking such great care of me. Having medical professionals that you make you feel heard and safe makes a very scary process more comfortable. Dr. D is straight forward and informative. She was my second opinion as I had been suffering with endo for years. My current ob-gyn didn't really take my symptoms seriously as I had been suffering with extreme pain during my menstrual cycle for years and it began to get worse over time. All she stated was "you just need to get pregnant." I was tired of the pain and needed answers. The pain would keep me up at night. One early morning I had, had enough and did a google search for endo specialists in the area and Dr. D's name popped up. Considering how much pain I was in, I was thinking this has to be it. Surely she will give me the answers I need. I filled out a form online and was contacted that day. I scheduled a consultation and Dr. D informed me of my options after giving her my symptoms. Going in we thought a simple laparoscopy would happen. Upon finding out, via ultra-sound, I had a fibroid, Dr. D performed a myomectomy. She explained the process and recovery and assured me I'd be fine. Just to be frank, my results were pretty bad. Endo on my uterus, ovaries and Fallopian tubes; along with Adenomyosis and my uterus was pretty much destroyed by the Endo. I knew a hysterectomy would end up being my near future after hearing this news. Speaking with Dr. D about best options, I could tell she was pretty sad for me. I could tell she was concerned about how I would take the news. She explained my options and answered my questions. Although I didn't have a "happy" ending, I finally found out why I was in so much pain. Don't wait too late like I did. I honestly think had I found her years ago, my results would be different. As an endometriosis patient, I can not say enough great things about Dr. Danilyants and her team at CIGC. Prior to my first visit with Dr. Danilyants, I had seen 4 GYN's, all of whom had told me my pain was not caused by gynecological related issues. Dr. Danilyants believed me when I said I was in pain, she educated me on the condition and gave me pain management options prior to suggesting a diagnostic surgery, and from the moment I decided that I wanted the dual-port surgery to the surgery date itself, her team made the process seamless. They were available for questions, helped me contact my insurance, provided heated blankets, and I went into surgery quite literally listening to Beyonce in the surgery room (i'll never forget that). Since that day, almost two years ago, the CIGC team has assisted me in properly managing my endometriosis naturally, and I've been a much happier person. When I do have questions, or issues, the office is very responsive, and appointments are easy to come by, no waiting weeks at a time. I am so thankful I found The Center for Innovative GYN Care! I didn't realize how bad I felt until after the surgery when I started feeling like myself again! Dr. D is the absolute best! From my initial consultation, I knew she was about business and would see to it that I had the best medical care possible. If you are currently experiencing gynecological issues such as fibroids or endometriosis, and you nor your life have the time to deal with the long, drawn-out healing process of a standard surgery, Dr. Danilyants is THE surgeon you want to see. Without violating my own HIPPA, I will say this, other surgeons wouldn't dare touch my situation. I have been suffering from fibroids and all the issues that come with it since 2002. Seventeen years! My own gynecologist told me if there is anyone on the east coast, possibly the country, that could successfully do this surgery laparoscopically, it is Dr. Danilyants. Well, my doctor was indeed correct. Dr. Danilyants is confident and precise. I, unfortunately, have had several surgeries, but I have never recovered so fast as I did after this one. I had my surgery on May 15, 2018, while there were some complications, not due to her surgical skill but my own condition, she still executed the procedure wonderfully. Within days I was walking around with little to no pain. I never even took the opioids. I was able to get along just fine with the 800 MG Motrin for pain. By the end of the second week, I was doing light exercises like walking a mile through my neighborhood. I'm a runner and by the end of the third week, I was able to get in a few miles. Today, June 28, 2018, I feel amazing - like myself in college and it will be business as usual with 10K and 10-mile races in my future. Dr. Danilyants performed my myomectomy in April this year. The entire process (consultation, surgery, recovery, and follow-up) was wonderful. Dr. Danilyants and her team have an exceptional combination of professionalism and friendliness that made this medical experience better than I expected, and much better than that of others I've spoken with who've had the same procedure elsewhere. Long story sort of short! I had been a patient of another practice for well over 15 years. I knew something was wrong with me. My doctor told me to do this, do that, and that my test from over a year ago indicated there were only two small fibroids and reminded me that I am 47 several times (like I don't know!). We know our bodies ladies! I had heard the commercial for CGIC on the radio, started reading the reviews, and said what the heck. I am miserable. Maybe they can help! And they did!! The entire process was stressless, meeting Dr. Natalya was a pleasure. She explained everything, drew me pictures of what was going on inside my body, told me about the test she needed before and what to expect after surgery. They did all new testing and not only did I have multiple fibroids I had and enlarged uterus, endometriosis and adenomyosis! No wonder I was miserable! Turns out I needed a uterine biopsy (negative!!) and a partial hysterectomy which happened about about 30 days after the biopsy. Both recoveries were so easy. I thought they were lying about the recovery time. Everyone I know that has had this type of surgery is in bed or sitting on their sofa for 6-8 weeks. Dual Port is the way to go! I was back to work and feeling amazing in 1 week! I have one little scar maybe about an inch in length and know wider then a pencil point in width and it's healing up great. The other entry point was through my naval and I cant even see that! The entire experience from the initial call to the post-op and everything in between was amazing. Feeling HEARD and cared for makes everything easier to get through! I am switching all of my future Gyn needs to the CGIC. To me Dr. Nat and the entire staff of the CGIC are THE BEST! read more

I highly recommend Dr Danilyants. 5 stars does not do her or The Center for Innovative GYN Care justice! I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy last month. The Center was top notch, clean, modern, and welcoming (not that anyone wants surgery - but this is the place to go if you need it). From the initial contact thru recovery, everyone at the facility was caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Thanks to Dr Natalya, I have (2) 5mm incisions instead of a horizontal cut across my abdomen. They healed in less than a month. She answered all of my questions, reviewed my medical records, and made her recommendation for the needed procedure. She took the time needed and I never felt rushed. The procedure went as she explained, and I felt back to normal much sooner than planned (days!). I had to remind myself to slow down and take it easy. One day of pain meds post surgery and I didn't need them anymore. I highly recommend this surgeon for any/all gynecological surgeries needed. She's simply the best.
