Went in for a consultation on a tooth implant and wanted to know how much the procedure would cost…read morebefore spending $370 to get a CT scan. Dr Stephens said that he puts the post in and his cost would be $3000.00 and my dentist, who he said he works with all the time for years, would charge $800-$1,000 for the tooth, NO MORE than $1,000 and he said it TWICE! Considering $4,000 is comparable to a bridge, though my insurance wouldn't cover the implant, I decided to go and move ahead. Upon checkout I paid $370 for the CT and was quoted $3,208 to be due on the procedure date. When I got home I called my dentist to get an exact cost for the tooth and they said it would be $3,006!!!!That would make the whole thing cost $6,584!!! I would NOT have moved ahead with the CT had I known it would be this expensive and when I called and explained to the financial manager and asked for a refund for the CT- they refused! She said Dr. Stephens said he gave me a ballpark figure. What's worse is the CT cost him nothing as it is done in his office and goes straight to a computer. This is bad business practice! Buyer beware!

The wait time in the lobby was over an hour from the time I arrived (including 15 minutes before my appt to fill out paperwork) which I wasn't thrilled about. I seen person after person go in before me. I'm thinking they actually forgot about me because no one is saying anything. I asked how much longer it would be after about 40 minutes or so and was told I would be next. Nope, not next, another 2 go in before I do. Ugh I'm in pain and if I wasn't I would have walked out. I was in the lobby for well over an hour and 15 minutes! Not good Finally I get called back! Thank goodness. Now that I'm being seen I felt they took their time with me and all the staff I encountered were friendly, answered any questions I had. They also explained once I was in the back, how they only had one Dr. Seeing patients that day and they apologized for the long wait When it came time for payments I was in shock to see the bill. I felt it was really high (it was, however most of the things listed on there I didn't receive so I wasn't paying for it) The final bill looked much better and affordable. They were going to charge me for cleaning that I hadn't received yet but covers future visits. Personally, I just want to pay for services rendered, not 6 months from now so I felt that was a little strange. Overall the visit was good, I took 2 stars off because I had waited such a long long time in the lobby (over 75 minutes) with no communication to me from them while I was waiting
