We had the pleasure of visiting here to create, bake, and eat pastel de natas. It was a two hour master class hosted by the amazing Joao and his friendly assistant in a very clean kitchen. The class was at a very nice pace and very informative. We had lots of hands-on experience preparing all the ingredients, rolling the dough out, cutting it up, and placing the dough in the cups right before putting them in the oven. After the class, we left the kitchen and sat together upstairs to eat our creations and drink.
The decor here is a mix of modern with original woods over 100 years old, very tasteful. What a wonderful experience and one that we will never forget. Highly recommended!
On the main floor they sell various different versions of their pastel de natas such as original, tiramisu, crème brûlée, white chocolate macadamia nut, and apples and cinnamon. read more
