One of my favorite venues in Nashville for the incredible sound, the talented musicians and the great clean and wonderful ambiance The service is always helpful, friendly and welcoming. Food is very limited because is only snack , wate, soda and some wine but is just a perfect combination for a fantastic night to indulge ur self with Music :) Highly recommended

Excellent music and event venue. The staff is cordial, helpful and generally the concerts I've experienced here are top notch, whether or not the symphony is involved.

Everytime I visit the Nashville Symphony the experience is excellent. For starters the building is very clean, something I love to see no matter where I am. Bathrooms sparkle and the seating area isn't dirty; it's clear they clean the space very well. The facilities are always open and working smoothly. The wine selection (during intermissions) is never bad. I thoroughly enjoy the Symphony everytime I come.

Time to see the Jackson's

This was my first time attending Nashville Symphony. Here we went to see The Jackson's for our very first time and boy did not not disappoint. The show was for about 1.5 hours. The seats were amazing. We were worried about the seats but when we got it there wasn't a bad seat in the house. We will be back at other events soon!

Patti Labelle and background vocalist throwing down.

I took the hubby to see Patti Labelle in concert at the Nashville Symphony Center. The center was well maintained and clean. The seating on the inside was arranged nicely as well. The customer service received was top-notch too. I would definitely recommend going to see a concert at this venue.

The Symphony is a great way to spend an evening! The building itself is enjoyable to walk around and admire the architecture and art adorn on the walls. There are multiple terraces and a courtyard to relax in prior to your show. I highly recommend arriving early to check out the building and art around it. A cafe and multiple small areas with alcohol are available as well. The food was mainly prepackaged which prevented me from purchasing any. There is tea, coffee, and alcohol available for purchase as well before the show or during intermission. We were seating in the West Balcony and enjoyed the space between seats and view as well. We went for a special Valentines symphony of love songs from movies and it had lovely music accompanied by phenomenal vocalist. I highly recommend going to it in the future or attending other special events! Given you don't need to see the entire stage, there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house! Local or tourist, definitely add the Symphony as a spot to check out while in Nashville.

Such an incredible venue - straight out of "The Gilded Age." Great acoustics and easy in and out. If you get a chance to see a concert here, JUMP!

We attended Ravel performance in Feb. Staff is SO professional and friendly, beautiful venue and always dressed for the occasion. The BEST listening room to hear an award winning symphony! CLASS

This is a beautiful venue for live performances. It is not overly large, so there is a good view from anywhere in the room, and the sound is spectacular. The ushers were also very friendly and happy to help with seating and questions. I look forward to seeing more performances at the Schermerhorn.

This was recently my first time attending a symphony, and we chose to see Ratatouille in Concert, which was a part of their Nashville Symphony's Movie Series. They play the film score for beloved movies such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Disney Pixar. The film is projected for all to see, which allowed me to watch the orchestra at parts and the film at parts. I was mesmerized by this unique experience. It would be such a fun experience for friends, families, or dates. Upon arrival, the ushers were able to welcome us in and help us find seats. We were on the front row of the balcony, which allowed for a perfect view of the orchestra, screen, and concert hall. The venue is beautifully lined with box seats and art-deco style chandeliers. The facility is truly stunning and breathtaking from the arrival to the moment we left. There was a brief intermission. Refreshments were available in the lobby and there was a bar. On our floor, the line wrapped from the counter to the stairs. When the lights flickered some decided to return to their seats and some decided to wait it out. The server was so friendly and hospitable; however, maybe two would have been ideal. I'd recommend heading straight there if you're interested in a refreshment. This is such a unique experience if you're not really looking for a classical symphony but want the excuse to enjoy a night of music. The movie series would be a great first symphony for anyone! We wanted to dress up; however, some were dressed more causal-- it really was a welcoming space for all audience members (families, couples, children, and friends). We will come back soon!

Nashville was not in the cards when I was planning my summer vacation. My original plan was to stay in Canada. Specifically, I wanted to return to Winnipeg. It has been over five years since I was last there. Winnipeg will need to wait a bit longer. When I saw that Guster, one of my favourite bands, was on tour, I was excited. The band wasn't heading over the border this year. I looked at all tour dates and noticed that the band was performing with the Nashville Symphony. A rock band with a symphony orchestra? Yes, please! I booked my concert ticket online and made plans to visit Nashville around it. It was the best move. Guster was playing at Nashville Symphony's crib, Schermerhorn Symphony Center. I remember walking down the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and was trying to figure out what the building ahead of me was. It was where I'd be taking in music over a week later. Of note, names of buildings and bridges are thoughtful in Nashville, but the last names are so long for this person who only has one syllable in hers. I can see why folks tend to not use them because it's easier to avoid spelling them incorrectly! I parked in the lot across from Schermerhorn Symphony Center. I had parked there previously to visit the Johnny Cash Museum, and the Johnny Cash Bar and Grill. You basically point your phone at a QR code and pay for parking online. The symphony center is beautiful. The main entrance has tall pillars and feels like you are going into a museum. There is a water fountain off to the right. It's a nice place to hang out and relax. I saw a lineup in front of the west atrium entrance, near the fountain. I decided to line up there, too. The woman scanning my ticket on my phone was nice. She directed me to where I needed to go. Staff are extremely helpful. I got to the main lobby and another woman asked if I needed help. Yep, I looked like a total tourist. It is gorgeous inside. There's lot of marble. It was so stunning that I was lost in marble heaven. I snapped out if it and asked where I should go. I needed to go up the stairs. I looked at the merch table and asked if it was the only one. She said yes. It was busy. I thought that it would be best to check it out after the show. I thanked her and wished her a great day. She was nice and hoped that I'd enjoy the show. I had a third person show me where I was going. I never got lost. I was in good care. I thanked her as she showed me the way to my seat. This female usher let me know that when folks make a donation, the donor's name gets engraved on the metal oval where the seat's back is. I was curious about it while I was looking at the seat number. One cool thing about going to a show, particularly a Guster one, is that everyone around you is friendly. It was the case with the folks on both sides of me. I was five rows in front of the stage. I was nearly dead centre. I couldn't have asked for a better seat. Enrico Lopez-Yañez, principal pops conductor, welcomed us. He was friendly and charming. He went straight into introducing Guster, who joined the symphony orchestra on stage. The Nashville Symphony was impressive. I loved how carefully the scores were crafted with Guster's music. They were professional and talented. Guster was awesome. They played a varied set of their music. They cracked jokes. Ryan, the lead singer, sang a row behind me. I was stunned, but still managed to get a photo of him in disbelief. It was such a fun show, with Guster members often poking fun at themselves. Adam, who also sings and plays guitar, has a trumpet solo for one song. Both Ryan and Adam made a joke that the symphony was almost outraged to see someone with fifth-grade trumpet lessons play in front of them... haha! This concert was wonderful and memorable. I'm so glad that I got to experience the Nashville Orchestra with Guster. If I lived in the city, I'd be taking in this symphony orchestra often. After the show was over, I needed to find the washroom. It was intuitive. I found it without any difficulty. The women's washroom was stunning in marble. The stall that I was in was super clean. I headed to the merchandise table. I managed to get a Guster t-shirt as a souvenir. I do recommend visiting it after a show, as it wasn't as nuts. It's a gorgeous venue to enjoy great music. The acoustics were excellent and I was comfortable sitting there for perhaps two hours. I recommend coming here for a concert when in Nashville. (335)

What a wonderful way for my family to return to a public performance venue after nearly 2 years of Covid. And, Sunday's "Pops" performance by the symphony was an absolutely fantastic way for us to introduce one of our grandchildren to his first live concert! As usual, Maestro Giancarlo Guerrero and the orchestra were inspiring. The Maestro's explanation and "side bars" to the pieces performed were a perfect example of how to inform, enlighten, and entertain. The superbly nuanced music of the musicians was filled with swells, crescendos, melodic and fanciful interludes, excitement, and even a "you could hear a pin drop" moment in the extended silence that (appropriately and poignantly) followed a tribute to the people of Ukraine. All-in-all it was one more 5-star concert by award winning musicians in Nashville's sparkling gem of a concert hall.

The Bluebird Cafe was perhaps the biggest blind spot in my adventures as a concert goer. Thankfully for me, a can't miss opportunity arose and I was able to get tickets for it. I'm a HUGE Drive By Truckers fan and I've seen the band a dozen+ times live across the country. I've seen co-founder Patterson Hood solo a few times, but never Mike Cooley (the other co-founder) as he's simply never played live in a city I was living in or close to on a solo tour...until now. So when I saw he was doing 2 back to back shows at the Bluebird, a venue I had yet to experience, it seemed sort of kismet. I logged on when tickets went on sale and bought a great seat instantly for a very reasonable price. When I arrived, it was a bit early so I parked in the back gravel lot which was completely empty. There are Reddit scammers urging you to use Parkit and other apps to find a spot when you go to the Bluebird, but at least on this visit (a Thursday night for a sold out show) there was plenty of parking in the free gravel lot and in the lot for the adjacent bank which allows parking post 4:30...plus across the street in the Hillsboro neighborhood. If you have to Uber, there's a massive free lot at Green Hills mall 2 minutes away. Entry was easy, service was friendly. It's a cozy, warm environment. Food was good-- I ordered a "Bluebird basket" of chicken tenders and fries. I had a couple of beers and a whiskey on the rocks (Bulleit). They have a solid bar menu, some good beers (but none on tap), wine, and a few cocktail options. All reasonably priced. The show was fantastic. I love that they enforce a no-talking during the show and no late entry policy. Acoustics are fantastic. Service is friendly. Bathrooms are even clean, lol. It's a Nashville institution for a reason. See a show here.

Gayle, Jim, Erin, and I were here at the 6 PM show on 4/29/26 that featured Jason Duke, Keesy Trimmer, and Chris Bondi. We actually met Keesy when we were walking to the venue as his car pulled up and he asked if we were heading to the Listening Room? When we said yes, he was very excited. We were too at the end of the evening, with all of us agreeing that this was one of, if not the highlight of our trip to Nashville. The Listening Room itself is a large and acoustically solid room within what looked like an old International Harvester Farm Equipment Building. Food and Drink are served and I believe there was a minimum in addition to the admission price. This is normally not a place that you can walk in, so buy your tickets early. We found the food to be "adequate", the service very good, and a 5 Star show experience. Each songwriter took turns with a number, explained some background on it, name dropped artists who recorded their songs, and told some great stories. It seems like the Nashville songwriting community knows each other well, which might explain the easy familiarity all 3 had with each other and their individual song writing efforts. We might have related to Chris Bondi a little more, especially after singing the "I Bet You Would Have Loved Her" tear jerker, and a really funny one on getting high while skiing. Keesy had a great one about a boat and "Time Makes Money Look Cheap" cowritten by him and others and recorded by Chris Janson. Jason Duke showcased "Dibs" that was recorded by Kelsea Ballerini. Or was it "That Could Still Be Us" performed by Keith Urban? Our only regret was that tickets were still available for the 9 PM show (with a new songwriting team) and we passed it up. Post Note: Gayle's song title idea for Keesy: Don't go Puking on my Boots. :)

Nice commentary in between songs telling stories. This place is quite big. We were seated in the upstairs balcony as we were a group of about 40 people. The view was good if you were at the end of the table adjacent to the balcony. For appetizers our table ordered the chicken wings dry rub which were really good - hot, well cooked tender and crispy outside. Sweet potato fries were good and others had the pretzels with cheese sauce. For my main meal I ordered the southwest salad with turkey (cubed) - which was fine. Overall a good experience!
