One of the best spots for your pets needs. They have food, treats, toys, and all the other essentials. For the dog parents: they have ball they sell that is basically indestructible. I didn't believe it by the looks of it (my dog chews apart all of his toys) but this ball has lasted 2 months already!!! Definitely worth a visit for your fur friends! read more

It's always clean, the staff are friendly, and they carry an awesome variety of high quality foods, some of which are hard to find elsewhere. The best customer service! I went to pick up a bag of dog food on a day when it was pouring down rain. When I pulled up, an employee met me beside my car with an umbrella and walked me to the door. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and the store has a wide selection of dog toys, chews, food, treats, and leashes/collar/other apparel. They also have refrigerated dog/cat food and treats, which I don't normally find in other local pet stores. Though the actual building looks small and it is kind of easy to miss if you're driving in for the first time, they have anything you might need for your furbaby. So I definitely recommend this place for all your pet's needs! Just a note for fellow dog owners, there are a few resident cats in this pet store, so be aware of that if you're bringing in a dog that doesn't do well with cats. read more

The customer service is always spot on. It may be a smaller shop than the other two, but it packs a punch with what it has to offer. My cats have not been there personally; however, they simply adore all the loot I bring them. From 'nip to kibble to adorable collars, this place has got a fur baby covered. I am there at least once a week to lavish my felines with gifts and treats. And the employees? Helpful without being pushy.... I love this little place! It's one of the only pet shops in the area that carries our Husky's food (NutriSource) and I'm so glad I can come here instead of a big box store. The associates open the door, great with a smile, help you find your food and carry it out to the car. That kind of service doesn't exist anywhere. They're also super knowledgeable, have competitive prices and offer a pretty good customer loyalty program. This is of the few places to purchase Orijen around Nashville. They carry a lot of great quality brands and special treats not available at regular pet stores. My dogs love deer antlers, they last forever and it's worth the extra money to give them something to chew on that they can't destroy in 10 minutes. :) The staff is always very pleasant and willing to help you out to the car, which I love...who says chivalry is dead? In short, you get what you pay for. Nashville Pet Products has great products. If you're looking for grain-free cat food, you've found your place! Their prices beat Amazon's (I checked), and they have lots of sales and special loyalty incentives. If you're not sure what to get, they are happy to provide you with samples too. Here's what you don't get elsewhere: people who know about pets. They will listen to you ramble on about your pets and their idiosyncrasies and make lots of suggestions accordingly. Because a friend recently recommended them and I took the staff's advice when I went in, my stubbornly overweight cat has lost about three pounds and is jogging around the house like a kitten. I really really like this store. Even though it's smaller than a big box retailer, they have a great selection of high quality products, especially natural stuff. I can only comment on the dog stuff since that's the only animal I have, but it seems they are pretty well stocked for cats, birds, etc. The prices seem lower than other stores and online retailers like Amazon. In fact, the puppy food I bought here is half the price than what Amazon sells it for! Customer service is very friendly, they open the door for you and are very helpful with product suggestions. The owner has done his research and has high standards for the products on the shelves. If you have any questions he and the staff will provide answers and share the pros and cons of different brands, ingredients, etc. They also ask questions and can recommend the right products to help meet your pet's specific needs.
