I was in town visiting and came across this restaurant and after reading the Yelp reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. Glad I did! The chicken were cooked to perfection and were super crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Mac n Cheese was money dude! The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. The service was good and the restaurant has a really nice bar and small stage for small band performances. All in all, if you're ever in the area, you have to give this place a visit and try their fried chicken... very well worth it. I'll definitely be back the next time I am in town. read more

And granted I went at lunch, not night, so this review is more about the service and food quality than whether it is a good hangout joint. They offer two levels of heat. One sweat bead, or two. My 15 year old son ordered the 1. I ordered the 2. Neither of us detected much heat at all. Plus there was much crispiness to be desired. Bonus: The fried ocra was good. All in all 2/5.
