I'm going to call myself out before I even begin for not writing a well-rounded review of Naruto. Truth be told, I have never even walked completely inside this little take-away Japanese shop. Nope, I've never been able to walk past the sushi roll display case right out on George Street. But you know what? I'm not that sorry about that.
The sushi rolls are fresh, huge and cheap. At an average of $2.60 per roll, they may not be the cheapest available, but for the amount of goods and rice they pack in that seaweed wrapped mini-tower, it's definitely worth the price. They don't have most complete array of types either, but that Mod Aus spin on sushi combining pumpkin and sundried tomatoes freaks me out anyhow, so I'm good with the traditional. I got teriyaki tofu with avo the the other day, and it was tasty. What's more, if you buy two roll, Naruto will give you a free bowl of miso soup. I didn't opt for this when I went because I was a girl on the move and soup doesn't strike me as the most mobile food, but I will be sure to take them up on this soon. read more
