This little gem is always at the back of my mind when I try to decide where to have lunch. Lately, I've been frequenting this place often for a quick and really affordable sushi run. Spritely Japanese girls run the show here, and are very efficient at doing so. I've never had to wait to get a seat or have my order taken. This characteristic is shared with the kitchen and sushi bar as well; the food always comes out in less than ten minutes! Such a novelty for sushi, I find. The food is fresh, portions are satisfying, and really affordable. Last time I went, I had a salmon roe platter, which for around $10, contains 6 rolls and 4 nigiri. The sushi isn't necessarily rolled perfectly and the sushi rice can be considered a bit bland, but the fish was good quality and the meal was pleasing nonetheless. There are two sections of the restaurant, one for takeaway sushi (there are different kinds ready to buy) and an area adjacent for sit-down meals. read more
