He first thanked me for stopping to look at the menu, then after suggesting that I should try one of the deep-fried options, he thanked me again for ordering. Genuinely courteous? Absolutely! CHICKEN KATSU PLATE ($9) OMG!!!! Best bang for your buck for suuuuure! The chicken is exactly how Chicken Katsu is supposed to be made. Crispy, flaky outside and juicy inside. If you've read my other reviews, you know I can consider myself a bit of a Chicken Katsu snob since that's my go-to-dish at Japanese restaurants. To top things off with this belly-loving dish, you get rice, a side salad w/dressing and miso soup... Oh and almost forgot THE BEST part - FREE ICE CREAM!!!!! With that being said, I'm not sure we got a full look at the menu but we're very happy with our selection. The food was delicious, filling, and very reasonably priced. One thing they did not do is refill our water. This seems to be a common thing in Sydney so maybe people don't drink much water or maybe you have to ask. We haven't quite figured that out yet.

I tried the black garlic shoyu ramen and it was really good. Just a right amount of noodles for me and the soup is flavorful. The takoyaki is a stand out for me, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. (will highly recommend it). My husband tried the Yasai ramen (vegetables) and it was really good. The stir fry vegetables was yummy, I will definitely order that the next time. Overall, a good food dining experience. Maybe not the best ramen I had, but it's definitely worth trying :)

I was quickly sat by a waitstaff and she told me to scan the QR code on the dining table. Everything had to be ordered and paid via the website. Cellphone signal was a bit choppy as the restaurant is on the lower ground level. There were two WiFi servers and needed clarification from another server which to sign on. Once I placed my order, my Gyoza was delivered within 5 minutes, few minutes later my Chicken Karaage Don was dropped second. Delicious and made fresh!! Other items on the menu I'd like to try later are ramen and side orders, Ipuddo & Wonderbao, Rice dishes including curry, and they also serve Beer and Sake! This would be a perfect spot for HH! What a find this place is and it is conveniently located across the road from central station! We arrived for dinner at 7pm and took up a seat around the train where you can watch the dishes being made before your eyes. All of the sushi items from the train are a work of art, and we recommend ordering the mixed plate which has everything from crystal bay prawn to wagyu beef to sea-eel sushi. These were delicately presented and each had a unique taste that left you wanting more! The sea eel sushi is the owners favourite and once you taste it you will see why. Make sure you order some of the other dishes outside of the sushi and sashimi offerings. The cold soba and salmon bowl and the beef tataki were standouts but if you are a tofu fan do not go past the agedashi tofu. For those that want something a little more adventurous try the steamed egg custard with prawn and soybean - a truly unique dish. The staff are extremely friendly and be sure to chat to the amazing chef as you watch him work his magic to create these delightful dishes. The prices are much cheaper than what you would expect!
