They have a coal fired Oven, which enables them to enhance things like chicken tikka masala where the chicken is juicy, smoky and so tender compared to other Indian restaurants whom use an oven making chicken tikka masala. The food is impeccably done well. The portions are actually quite good good a shrimp tikka masala and rice is enough to feed two people. And the food here is quality and healthy. It's big enough to go alone, with friends or with a group of friends. The food is vibrant looking. The flavours are delicious and inviting. Tonight, I am having the Murgh Irani, and the Dal Makhani. I have had these dishes before and have never been disappointed. A Murg is a chicken dish with cashews, cream, mushrooms and black pepper. They provide a handsome portion of white meat, and the sauce is velvety rich. It is by far my favourite dish here. I have never had it h this way at any other restaurant. Dal is a staple to many, but with the addition of red kidney beans, it becomes a hearty meal all in itself. It is made with black Dal as opposed to the milder yellow dal that appears on most menus. The best part for me is that I can eat such a meal and they can make it gluten free. Please be aware to ask about the pakoras if you have celiac disease. Even though they are listed as gluten free, and are made with chickpea flour, they share a deep fryer, so are not suitable for people with Celiac Disease.
