COFFEE AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE! I was eagerly awaiting the opening of a new coffee shop in Mercato and this place did not disappoint! The moment I stepped foot inside I was instantly impressed by the beautiful design. Me and my wife love to travel and visit coffee shops wherever we go and the aesthetic of this place is definitely our new favorite (if you haven't been, you have to check out the awesome neon sign hanging in front of a moss backdrop). After taking in the design, I approached the counter to order and was welcomed by their very friendly staff (despite the masks you could still tell they were smiling). I have to admit I have now been in many times and have tried their regular latte, iced latte, drip coffee (made from the cyclops - the first maker of its kind in the state of FL) cold brew, and a pour over and each one was absolutely perfect. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners and I was impressed by his passion to bring the very best coffee toSouthwest Florida through their selection of beans, to their roasting process, to the modern equipment and attention to detail during extraction! This place is my new go to for the best cup of coffee in town! read more

I used to love this place they hired a new girl and a new male and their service is absolutely TRASH . Never dealt with a young adult that acts like a 5year old talking about customers while they're drinking their coffee etc . Just children . Do better especially for it being in Mercato . Just HORRENDOUS read more

While my time at Narrative, the two workers (Grace & Hunter) were very kind and hospitable. Hunter made an excellent design on my vanilla coffee, while Grace brewed the coffee and served it to perfection. Together as a team they showed exceptional service and were helpful, & available for all of my questions. I Highly Recommend Narrative the next time you want some coffee! read more

Probably the best iced vanilla latte I've had! Simple but so good! Cute shop with ample seating and a cool bar! A must if you love coffee and are in the Naples area. read more

Great coffee and tea. Chill ambiance and a quiet place to work. Close to shops and restaurants. Features GreenBites snacks.

my review is based on a single espresso i tried. it's terrible. watery, sour-ish , and even with with two packs of sugar not drinkable. i'm from south florida and usually have an espresso after each meal so i've sampled a bit and this is the worst i tried. after reading all the reviews i'd maybe try a full drink but definitely never trying an espresso here again. attention was fine and place looked fine read more

I Absolutely love this place! Amazing coffee, great vibes, great customer service! I love their vanilla latte!

People. The coffee is good for Naples, but otherwise its average, overpriced roasted coffee. Moreover, the staff can be quite rude and clueless. I asked them a few technical questions about their coffee and they made up some bullshit answer. For the record, Bourbon beans is a varietal of beans, not that its tastes like bourbon!! hahaha. Esp the guy with glasses and mustache at Central Ave. location. What a jerk. Its too bad, because the ambiance is great. read more

Really good coffee. Stopped by twice when visited Naples and both times everything we ordered was excellent.

The ambiance-both inside and out-are great, but unfortunately the same cannot be said with regards to the coffee. Next time i'll opt to get an iced latte from the coffee bar inside the Whole Foods right up around the corner. Not only will it taste better but it'll also be easier on the wallet too. read more

I've been in your establishment many many times because I enjoyed it so much especially the caramel and butterscotch coffee. It's no longer available and it seems like it was just replace with a lot of fufu flavors that actually made me stare at the menu . I guess unfortunately I won't be back . Why get rid of a coffee that was so popular? read more

Probably the worst most bitter espresso I've ever had. And I drink a lot of coffee. And the staff wants to argue the point. I had my own coffee shop/espresso bar for years. I don't know what their coffee is like but twice I tried it and both times it was horrible. By the way, only got a star because I was unable to post without it. read more

Narrative coming to Naples and using their own roasted coffee and doing coffee like it should be done is what I've been waiting for for so many years. Always going to Tampa and other places around the country and saying damn I wish we had a shop like this. Well now it's here!! These guys are great and so friendly and the coffee it's amazing! Thanks for all you do for Naples! read more

Narrative Coffee Roasters - Regular Cafe Latte - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Naples, Florida

Great coffee and absolutely beautifully designed space. The best part is the in house fresh roasted beans!

Narrative Coffee is my go-to coffee house in North Naples. I prefer to support the independent mom-n-pop business over corporate any day. Naples is over saturated with big box establishments, so it is refreshing to have this locally owned and run Coffee Co conveniently located at Mercato. Narrative keeps it simple and they do it well. Their minimalist menu is wonderful. The coffee is strong and extremely satisfying. The atmosphere is clean, modern, comfortable, welcoming and well lit. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I love magazines so I was delighted they sell a beautiful stylish print magazine about coffee culture. It's fun to look whilst sipping your coffee and a great alternative to staring at your phone. Great Coffee + awesome atmosphere = A+ read more

Love this place. Love the employees. Love the vibe. Love the coffee. Kinda wish they had just a few more options in terms of small bites but besides that I do dig the menu. I usually stick with iced drinks because of the weather. Their syrups are great. The drinks are always consistent and the decor is top notch. The chairs aren't the most comfortable for me just because I have lower back issues but no one else seems to mind. Great place to relax, hang out, meet friends and get some work done. read more

This is some of the best coffee I've ever had. Absolutely wonderful! Love the Wildflower one.

Always wonderful! I love the little personal touches like warming the cups! it's a relaxing way to start the day! read more

This was some damn good coffee! Great service, fresh stylish decor, this place has it going on.

I was craving a shot of espresso, found Narrative on line and did it. The ambience is nice but their espresso doesn't make it. The richness of flavor one expects from a a shot of pure coffee wasn't there. My guess is that they do not use the best coffee beans. read more

This place is Okay.. the one thing that completely turned me off was the fact that after ordering a large order, we were directed to stand back in a long line to pay the difference for exchanging an American coffee to a latte. This is a disservice to the business and just plain poor customer service. First and last. read more

yummy drinks, nice atmosphere, clean establishment, friendly staff, conveniently located

A great coffee place with a chill atmosphere! It's in Mercato, so there's plenty to do. Swing by, grab a latte and enjoy the beauty of Naples! This is a must try coffee shop. Easily some of the best coffee in SWFL. There is some food, which is great. But you come to narrative for the coffee. read more

I do not have the most refined palate in the world, but this was the most amazing drip coffee I have ever had. That coupled with a delicious guava pastry made the perfect treat! The location is perfectly set in the middle of the beautiful Mercado Shopping Plaza and it's cool and trendy atmosphere with wide open windows that let in all the beautiful sunlight make it great to sit and relax in. I will definitely be going back again when I am in town! read more

Cafe con leche with oat milk was amazing! Drank it everyday during our vacation here. The staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and helpful.

Delicious honey cinnamon iced latte. Never had anything like it before. So good! The baristas were great as well!

I absolutely love this place. I probably come at least twice, and I'm a barista elsewhere. Everything from their coffee, atmosphere, and customer service is terrific. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable in their products, and you can tell they pour their hearts in to their craft items. Their iced latte is my favorite in Florida (: read more

Narrative Coffee Roasters has such a chill vibe! Their aesthetic is clean and welcoming. Their menu is simplistic enough so you don't feel overwhelmed, and their options are great! Their coffee is downright delicious, although I personally prefer their iced honey oatmilk latte. As a SWFL native, this area was BEGGING for a legitimate coffee roasting company. I recently moved to Milwaukee about 2 years ago and came back to visit my mom who lives near Mercato. I saw Narrative opened up a shop here and spent my 2 week vacation here for multiple hours each day. This place is HANDS DOWN the best coffee in SWFL. Period. Caleb, the owner, is personable and intentional. He has a great, hospitable team who knows what they are doing. Aesthetic is incredible, modern and minimalist. All creatives welcome. Don't waste your time going to Starbucks. Come here for quality coffee and people. - Diego Sanchez read more

Narrative Coffee Roasters - Coffee Roasteries Near Me - Naples, Florida

Absolutely the worst coffee in a long time. The positive reviews are by people who don't know the difference between Starbucks and dishwater. Bitter to the point of no return. Not artisan but artless. Do not go here. read more

Been to 4 or 5 coffee shops in the Naples area and coffee alone this the best. While it was a bit sour and not the best I've tried it was much better than the other coffee I've tried in the area. Baristas were cool and the coffee shop had a cool vibe. read more

I travel to Naples usually once per year around the holidays when visiting family. I have yet to find a decent matcha latte until last year when I came across Narrative. I was pretty impressed and happy to have found this spot. This year upon arriving in Naples I made it a point to stop here specifically for their matcha. I drove 20 minutes from where I was staying and waited 20 minutes in line to be told they couldn't do matcha right now because they were behind on other drinks. They tried to get me to order a chai latte instead. I said no, I came for your matcha and again was told they didn't have time to make it. Not that they didn't have it in stock but essentially they didn't want to make it because it takes too long. So I basically spent 40 minutes of my day trying to get to Narrative and then was turned away. I'm very disappointed in the customer service and if you are unable to fulfill customer requests and make a drink then take it off of the menu. I even offered to wait until it was less busy and was told no. Suffice to say I will not be patronizing this place in the future when I am in town and they need to reconsider how they handle customers even if they are busy. read more

Finally... All I can say is--finally... a legit coffee shop in Naples. Every day... I mean err day they offer several on the spot pour over option. I ordered the "the Kenyan". It came highly recommended from the young tattooed man behind the counter. Solid dude. He waxed poetic about its notes of white wine and apricot. Not sure what any of that meant but boy howdy did I enjoy my white wine apricot flavored Kenyan pour over. He guided me through this journey. My Samwise to his Mr. Frodo. When one walks into this place there is a real sense of it being well thought through, clean, and full of what I want... knowledgeable employees. I also appreciated that (1) I was asked for here or to go. Then given the appropriate cup and (2) the young tattooed fellow (Mr. Gamgee) took the time to warm my cup. I absolutely hate when I order a Starbucks for "here" only to have it drop 80 degrees because they didn't warm the cup. One last point. I preface by saying, I'm not that old. Yet, I could have handled the music being a bit softer. I've been to this place three times now. Although, I like the music they play, I did find it difficult to have a meeting here as a result of the volume. Just a thought. read more
