Stopped here on our way to the beach to grab some lattes. The employees are SO friendly and helpful. One of the girls took time to give us directions and tips on some secret beach spots that only locals know about. Lattes were beautiful and delicious! Will go again tomorrow for my coffee read more

Cool atmosphere but that's about it. Espresso taste like soap almost. Latte with an extra shot of espresso and the only thing good about it is the consistency of the milk. Tasted odd like the espresso was mixed with soap or something. Temperature was slightly warm, perhaps rather than "being a hip barista" going by touch, use a thermometer instead. If I wanted to get a "I'm cooler than you vibe" from some tough barista I'd just go back to Starbucks. read more

Great coffee as always! Plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting. Clean store and fresh ingredients. The baristas are very friendly and efficient in making coffee. My favorite coffee shop in Naples! read more

Such an awesome coffee hub! It's super clean and everyone has outstanding attitudes. It'sarge enough that folks can stretch out without being right on top of one another. I order the iced blossom latte which was one of their season summer drinks featuring rose and cardamom. It was soooooo good. Not only was it pretty but after stirring it up it was the perfect combination of flavors. You had the light floral from the rose pair perfectly with the spice from the cardamom. It was my first time trying narrative after eyeing it for months and I'm so happy I tired it! Definitely excited to go back and try there other drinks! read more

Wonderful service, cozy atmosphere, and excellent coffee. Seriously, one of the best lattes I've had. Give them a try!

Cute little cafe in Mercato. Nice to get out of the heat and drink an iced latte with my daughter. Good vibe!

If you're gluten free or dairy free, this place is not for you. The staff do not do a good job about cleaning spoons/cups between different milks and do not pay close attention to what's going in the cups and drinks. We had to send back two of our drinks when seeing them made wrong and still risked cross contamination. Latte was pretty good and chai was mediocre. read more

We always have coffee at our hotel and decided to venture out and try a local shop... so glad we did! The coffee here is DELICIOUS! Upon walking in, it's a nice big space and very clean and that good hipster coffee vibe you want from a coffee shop in 2022. I would guess that the guy who rang us up was the owner or manager, he made some good suggestions and definitely seemed to know his stuff. We went with a cafe con leave and a honey latte (only issue was not having almond milk.. but they did have oat milk and chai!). I inquired about a honey syrup and he said they had fresh local honey they could use... honestly it was the best honey latte I have ever had. The honey perfectly accentuated the nuttiness of the coffee and with whole milk it was perfectly creamy. Each shot of espresso is ground and made fresh to order as you would expect from an exceptional coffee shop. The pastries looked fresh and they had a little refrigerated section with some wraps/salads/protein bites and cold non coffee drinks to go. Bathrooms were clean and lots of different seating options available. We will definitely come back here! Lots of people sitting around here parking and from conversations it seemed like quite a few locals/regulars were coming in. read more

Not sure what's going on lately, I think new owners? The service is really slow (hard to get recognized that you've been standing at the counter for 5 minutes) and very often out of inventory. I love supporting local coffee shops, look forward to the service being streamlined so I can resume coming back. read more

Come here for coffee in a trendy and fun atmosphere. There is ample comfortable seating indoor and outdoors. Stop in for a quick drink or stay and mash on your keyboard, it's all good. They feature some delicious Cuban coffees my favorite is the cafecito. There are better pastries elsewhere but the combination of atmosphere, coffee and service can't be beat. Highly recommended! read more

I'm at like a 3.5 and the only reason it's not a five is they are card only. As a family that is on a cash only budget I don't like it when places don't take cash. The honey oat latte was very good, and my husbands black drip was also good but not quit hot enough. A tip if you don't like your drinks too sweet definitely ask for half sweet! read more

I go into this inviting establishment to order 2 Ice coffees. I asked for cream and either a sweet & low, equal or splenda. I am told by the two employees that they do not have any of those. So, I ask what do they have. They told me Stevia. I wonder if they ever had that product? It ruins anything that it is added to. "What do you have", I asked. "Sugar, brown sugar, honey, agave," They said almost in unison. Well, what do you do for people with Diabetes? I guess your NARRATIVE is for diabetics to go somewhere else to spend their money. Oh, I know, you are so organic, so natural, that you have your cheap grace by not carrying sugar substitutes that millions of people use. Arsenic is also natural. Wow! The Oddwinter was absolutely delicious. Lick the bottom of the cup and cry it's gone delicious. It was balanced and hot. I didn't need add a thing and it wasn't too sweet. The style is minimalist but it doesn't matter because the coffee shines. My husband loved the cold brew with vanilla. He said it wasn't bitter, strong, and a hint of chocolate. read more

WOW! Talk about going downhill overnight. What was once the best tasting coffee drinks in SWFL suddenly became average. Whoever was roasting the coffee must've left because it was excellent and now tastes like Dunkin'. All of the good vibes and wonderful staff seem to have moved on as well. read more

Cutest little coffee shop! Emphasis on little, as there isn't much space, but their outdoor seating area is beautiful. A great location with a lot of natural light, this earth-vibe shop is very open. Pros: Friendly, competent service Aesthetically pleasing environment Chill atmosphere They actually have real plants on every table Good assortment of snacks, pastries and wraps at reasonable prices. The coffee (the lattes are the best) Good tea. Open late most days so you can chill and not be rushed. I can't count the number of papers for nursing school I've written here. The clientele is a bit younger and sometimes hipsterish so that's refreshing. Especially in Naples. Lots of outlets for your laptop or phone. Reliable WiFi. Live music is played outside most weekends. (Updates on their Instagram page) Outside seating is plentiful. Located in Mercato shopping center. It's very clean. Cons: The wobbly tables, not every table is wobbly but you'll switch tables as soon as a non-wobbly table is available. Also the coffee. The place that used to be here served the most delicious cup of black coffee. The black coffee here is OK. But I'm also a coffee snob so for casual fans it's a great cup of coffee. Just not amazing. The espresso by itself is terrible. Sorry just trying to make it better!! Need to update the menu: no beer or wine on the menu but you serve it. In summary it's a great little oasis to waste the day away or study while listening to some tunes and having a cup o joe and a snack around good company. read more

Decided to stop in for some coffee and to my surprise it was much more. I have lived here in Naples for only 4 months now and have not been able to find a good Cuban cortado. Well now I have. I just moved to Fort Myers and haven't been impressed with the coffee scene so we wanted to hit Naples for coffee. I saw a lot of mixed reviews for Narrative recently but we loved the coffee! I had an iced almond joy latte and it was to die for. The shop is very pretty and we enjoyed sitting on the patio. The service was quick and attentive. We look forward to returning and visiting the other location! read more

What happened here ? This placed used to be a 5 star for me until today . The coffee tastes completely different , my usual latte was so sweet I could barely taste the actual coffee roast. On top of that they forgot my breakfast sandwich order , so when I went back to the line after 10 Minutes of waiting , they all looked at each other looking for who dropped the ball... it was not a good experience. The once flavorful coffee has left and so has the attention of the staff. read more

20 minutes line, 20 minutes wait for the order (2 latte). When my order was ready, they gave me two Americanos instead of the Latte. Something was damaged with the machine and I did not even receive the difference on price. It is not a matter of the money, it is a matter of customer service. First and last visit. read more

The vibes are good, but the last few times I've been the employees are just super loud in conversation while costumers are pretty quiet. The last time I was here with my toddler he looked at me and said "oh no mama they don't have inside voices". The table next to me giggled. I think we all agreed lol. Other than that it's great Coffee, good location right in mercato if you wanted to grab lunch, but loud employees. :) read more

The coffee is undeniably great. It might even be the best coffee I have ever had... The place is elegantly decorated and with plenty of seating. The barista, Grace, was very sweet. The whole experience reminded me of being in the valley. So why 4 stars? There's only one cup size and it's really small - especially for $7! The 1 gallon jug of cold-brew is $25! They also only accept card payments which is annoying. Like I said, it really might be the best coffee I have ever had so I guess the price reflects the quality. If you're not on a budget, check them out!! read more

The coffee my partner and I got were so delicious and I really enjoyed drinking my espresso and cold brew. The main reason I'm here is to warn anyone who may have pre-existing conditions that one barista wasn't wearing a mask at all and the other wore their mask incorrectly (my friend calls how the barista was wearing it "d*ck nose [yinz can take that if ya want. Don't think my friend would mind]) and there were no guards up for ordering. They have signs outside telling people they need to wear masks inside but weren't wearing them properly themselves and allowed someone to come in without a mask without asking for them to put one on (which makes sense as they weren't wearing them correctly either). Anyway, my four star review has really nothing to do with masks. If you don't have pre-existing conditions and feel comfortable going, their coffee is great. read more

This coffee shop is amazing and has the best coffee. I've been getting their fall drink & it's my favorite. The atmosphere here is very peaceful and happy. It's clean a place with a lot of seating! Great cup of coffee, nice and clean atmosphere that prompts the best and most poetic coffee shop thoughts- but don't take my word for it. Head to Narrative with a notebook and you'll see: the creativity will just flow. The service was nice but nothing to write home about, the girls working there seemed distracted when I was there, but I received my coffee and it tasted good so it wasn't a big deal. I will say they weren't wearing their face masks correctly, they had slipped past their noses and weren't adjusted during my entire visit. Great Cold Brew and Espresso beverages, haven't tried their brewed coffee or pour overs but will soon! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place especially the vibe there. Everyone is super nice, the beverages are just so delicious and crafted well. Their food is awesome. Horrible service. Went to order a cold brew. But when I said to add oatmilk the girl taking my order rolled her eyes and told me that some little girl like me can't have that that I need a latte. She then started to give me a lecture about coffee. I told her I'm older than her and I know what coffee is. She just kept making faces at me and rolling her eyes. I said I will take my business somewhere else and she replied good. Do NOT go here with this rude staff who criticize your order. read more
