ordered online and they packaged my food very nicely and secured. i ordered the lunch special pad thai with chicken, small side salad, fried rice, and veggie egg roll. it tasted okay and i was expecting more flavor from the pad thai, it tasted very eggy. i also ordered chicken satay and i was disappointed. i was expecting a grill/ smoker flavor from the chicken skewers but they tasted dry. i got the papaya salad with no tomatoes and it was not spicy at all, heavy fish sauce flavor though.

Perfect day for a great soup! Lunchtime for me and my son. I love being able to spend the time wit him, sharing good food. Service is always quick and the food is solid! The Tom Kha soup was super good today, with the lemongrass coming through beautifully.

Lunch Special Green Curry

Needed a quick bite and this was close to my hotel. Small storefront with a very heavy door so it may feel locked but they were open. My server was friendly and attentive. The food came out very quickly but not too quick of you know what I mean? It was a perfect lunch portion with a spring roll a small salad and the green curry and rice. The curry had a hint of heat and was delicious. The sale was small but the dressing was a ginger one and was also a nice flavor. My friends live Pratt close by and said they were surprised I picked that "part of town" to eat. I had no issue finding it or parking. This place proves my philosophy of trying "hole in the wall" places is a correct one. Small space with big flavors. Less than 10 bucks before tip. If I was local I would be a regular.

They call this - Scallion Pancakes

Narong's Thai Kitchen is a small Thai Restaurant located near Nellis Air Force Base. Some things here are better than other things. Last time we discovered that you want chicken over beef because the beef was very tough but prices are reasonable and portions are large. We started off by trying the scallion pancakes. They aren't actually pancakes and are puff pastry that was embellished with scallions. They were tasty but greasy. I tried the spicy basil eggplant with chicken. They gave me a very large portion but somehow forgot to add basil.....To me it tasted too salty and I couldn't eat much of it. I must note that my husband didn't agree that it was too salty. He can tolerate much more salt than me. But he thought that the chicken shouldn't be so hard. They must have had a different cook on today because last time the eggplant was amazing, delicious, and perfect. Today the eggplant had this incredibly hard skin that wasn't edible so the only thing I ate was what I could scrap out of the hard eggplant skin. My husband tried the Pad Prik King with Pork. He didn't care for the texture of the pork....He said usually the pork is crispy. He said this pork was hard and really needed to be cut with a knife that we don't have here. He also didn't like all the grease in the sauce and said it taste different that what he is used too. The. woman working there was somewhat disrespectful to me. She sat us in a small table by the portable air conditioner and I was freezing there and wanted to move. She said that we had to sit at that table so my husband and I switched seats. They didn't have any other customers in the restaurant at the time so her actions were disrespectful. 2.5 stars

Love this place. Slightly bad neighborhood which increases the value. The food is great and restaurant interior is good. Lunch special is $10, a buck extra for fried rice.

Narong's Thai Kitchen is a yummy option for lunch. Convenient to Nellis, Narong's is located off of Craig Rd and tucked behind a car wash. Though small, the food is fresh and authentic. The decor was surprisingly fun. I'll continue coming for take out. Love the mango sticky rice and fresh summer rolls.

Panang Curry

A little hole in the wall and definitely worth a trip. The ambiance is very laid back and deffo not a suit and tie. Service is good. Helpful and communicative. Even ordering as they opened they were already booked up. Here is what we ordered: 1. Panang Curry with Duck (special request): the curry has a lovely pepper taste. The bell peppers were a bit too big for me and the Thai basil is strong, The flavor is savory and the duck was phenomenal 2. Manasung Curry with Tofu: this curry was like a sweet peanut butter stew. I loved the peanuts and the tofu soaked in all that flavor 3. Pad See Ew with Tofu: the noodles werent extremely flavorful. Large pieces of Tofu so the protein was definitely abundant 4. Scallion Pancakes: this is NON traditional. Its like taking scallion pancakes and make it more like a roti bun. It was absolutely delicious and lovely dipped in both curries. Would recommend 5. Thai Garlic Rice: i loved the pieces of garlic, but its truly just plain rice. I originally thought I needed rice for the curries but they each came with some. Portion sizes are abundant, but wish the apps were bigger cause the scallion pancakes were perfection. Overall would come back and excited to have their lunch specials in person

Ordered through their online platform; was easy and quick! Food was just being bagged at the pick up time so definitely hot! Duck curry to die for This is a hidden gem in North Vegas! It appears to be more of a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant, but taste and quality are superb!

You are greeted quickly and placed on a waitlist (it was busy when I arrived). There's a seating area near the front door but also a few seats along the far side of the wall next to the kitchen door. It's designed to look like a high end restaurant: impressive bar, beautiful ceiling lights, and a mixture of booths and tables. There is seating at the bar as well so if you want to stop for a quick bite with a cocktail, it's perfect. Service: Quick and courteous. What else can I ask for? They use OpenTable so feel free to reserve a seat on that app, it'll help them out immensely when it's rush hour. The servers are quite knowledgeable about the dishes. They even warn you when you've chosen dishes with the same flavor profile. I heard our server guide the tables around us as well with the same attention. Their most known dish is their fried A15 Prawn. Garlic-y, crispy edible shell, and a springy fresh shrimp meat underneath. Yes, you can eat the whole thing, shells and all. Our second dish was their Nam Kao Todd and it had just the right amount of spice and tanginess. The crunch from the rice was a lovely texture because the dish was served fresh. I don't know how it would do if you ordered this for takeout, though. This one is VERY spicy so buyer beware? Third dish was Me Krob. This one wasn't my favorite of the three but I still enjoyed it. The crispness of the noodles absorbed the sweet and tangy sauce they pour on top. Overall: I'd come back if I'm in town!

We had made a reservation online anyway so we didn't wait to get seated. The staff was super friendly and gave us a rundown of recommendations. They have your usual items like pad Thai, but also had a lot of northern Thai dishes. To start, we got the fish cakes (tod mun plar) and nam kao tod, a type of crispy rice dish. Both recommended by our server. Really delicious! At spice level 5, it tasted a bit above mild. Our server said spice level 4 is like jalapeño spice. For our entrees, I tried the thum ka noon, a dish made with shredded young jackfruit pounded with aromatic spices, ground pork, and tomatoes. At spice level 7 it was spicy! Not difficult to eat, but probably at the spice level I wanted. My friends got pad Thai and pad see ew. Always classic! Also very good! My sister also tried the Thai tea. Slightly different tea flavor than usual but not as sweet and still refreshing. Overall, food came out really fast and service was smooth. Can't wait to come back again and try other unique items on the menu!

I wish more Thai restaurants would make it in California. It's like a lettuce wrap salad with red onions, ginger and peanuts. The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free and the menu is very well marked. I was very disappointed because I wanted to substitute the noodles the had in a different dish for gluten free noodles so I could eat it but they wouldn't allow it which was insanely disappointing and frustrating to me. Everything we had though tasted good and I like that you can customize the spice level. The short rib fried rice is their thing they are the most popular for and I can see why, it was good. The biggest negative on the food was the steamed sticky rice. It was dry and hard and really difficult to eat.

The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.

Coming from LA, we have decent Thai food, but honestly this place blows everything else out of the water. Tucked in the corner of a shopping mall with quite a few other restaurants, you might miss it if you're driving by. Here are the dishes we've tried so far: Pad Thai (9.5/10) - The best pad thai I've had - nice and moist, with great flavor. I'm normally indifferent to pad thai but having this one makes me realize that most of the other pad thai I've has been dry - no wonder I enjoyed this one so much more. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn (10/10) - The star of the show - nice, large prawns fried to perfection and covered with a tasty garlic sauce. This is the one we get every time we go. Gang Pu (7.5/10) - Solid amount of crab meat in a curry sauce. The vermicelli noodles come on the side and you can add them into the sauce when you want. It's good but I wish there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. Pra Dook Pad Pren (7/10) - On taste alone this probably gets a 9/10 but we thought the portion was a bit small. The catfish is very tasty and the sauce was on point. Just wish it was a little bigger portion. Panang w/ Crispy Duck (9/10) - the duck is very moist and flavorful, swimming in the panang curry it's really a wonderful dish. There is a good amount of sauce which we like so we can add it onto the steamed rice. Panang w/ Crispy Prawns (8.5/10) - See above but with crispy prawns instead of duck. Enjoyable but I think I prefer the duck a little more for this type of dish. Garlic Green Beans (9.5/10) - Didn't know what to expect but really pleasantly surprised with this dish. The green beans are covered with a super flavorful garlic sauce. A nice compliment to any of the other dishes considering there's not a ton of vegetable options on the menu. The tasteful traditional decor and dark wood sets a nice mood for a pleasant meal. Sure, the view out of the window could be better (you just get a view of the corner of the parking lot) but other than that I can't complain. Also, the service is really stand out - they always treat us very nice and check on us regularly. Shoutout to Pinky - she's super sweet and they've given us a little ice cream dessert when we've come on our birthdays. In a city with so many great food options this one stands out for me. Can't wait to go back!

Our food did take quite sometime to arrive, but when it did come it was piping hot and smelled absolutely heavenly. The Pad Thai noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce had the right amount of umami flavors, and the fresh veggies and peanuts mingled everything together beautifully. As for the curry, it was just okay but it didn't have those rich aromatic flavors we're accustomed to. The curry may have not been our favorite, but the rest of the food we've tried has been pretty spot on.
