This place has my heart wrapped in its warm hometown hands…read more On any given Sunday you can find me crackin' cold ones with the boys at this place....the beer garden next door is like the garage with my uncles! They have a really good beer selection, albeit a small one. They have what can only be a 'select' variety of choices. You can speak with the chaps and chapettes at the counter for all kinds of knowledgeable answers for everything they have in stock. As for the restaurant next door, it's a good little spot! The kitchen is decent enough to pop out some tasty dishes. My sister and I grabbed a burger there once. it wasn't too bad. But I am here for the beer and the cozy vibes. I've seen folks bring dogs, small children (it's a quiet spot, it doesn't scream family friendly) and older folks too. I love the Greeks, really I do. Just keep in mind, the next few years there is some kind of living complex being built directly across the street of this quaint tiny little town. Expect things to change. Ya best appreciate this place the way it is! They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

I've been ordering French Onion Soup for 50 years and nowadays most places throw a little cheese on that looks like it's floating in the broth. I normally ask them to brown the cheese well but i forgot this time. Much to my surprise, what came out had lots of gooey cheese baked onto the outside of the bowl. It took me a while just to pick it all off. It was also well browned. Although the broth could use a little more flavor, it was the best French Onion Soup I had had in a while. The beer was pretty good too. The server gave me several tastes before I decided which one to get. All in all a nice experience.

Bumbum, bumbum, bumbum, bumbum-BUM! The stand-up class I'm taking at Next In Line next door has had me stopping by every Tuesday and I feel like a proper regular now - and I'm kinda glad about it. The lime lager slaps. Love City Lager I've had all over town and always enjoy as an any time beer. At some point I just have to run the board. As for food, you can't really go wrong. The burger, chicken sandwich, and pizza are all a 7+ out of 10, the burger being my favorite. It's the right size, right price, and the coated fries they serve up are so so good. And coated fries aren't even my favorite type of fry! The space is beautiful and great for groups too. I feel like it kind of honors the feel of the warehouse neighborhood it sits in. There's lots of preserved details and, aside from the steel stools and chairs you see in every farmhouse style bar, the structure itself makes it feel like the brewery could have been there for 50 years. Nothing else to say, really, except for that when it's 100 degrees outside the inside can get warm. Nothing a few cold beers can't fix.

I could leave anytime but the staff had no choice but to endure the extreme heat. I brought up the issue with staff but I was brushed off by them saying the HVAC simply couldn't keep up with the heat and did not offer any solutions.

I was glad I tried the turkey cutlet because that will now be a must next time! We started with drinks outside then came in for dinner. There were six of us this visit. Further down is the dining area and an outdoor dining area on the side. I was surprised by how cute and romantic the main dining room is. Menu is very small. Our waitress was very helpful with giving us recommendations. Clams: it was suggested our waitress and she was right. It has green herb broth that makes it special. The complimentary bread is a perfect vehicle to soak it up. Roasted mushroom: I love the umami from the broth. Salad: I've never seen a salad served like this, it looks like a centerpiece for a table. Leaves of lettuce are stacked up beautifully like a floral arrangement with perfect amount of dressing. Definitely check it out. Chocolate pudding: it has a slight taste of bittersweet chocolate and coffee. It is surprisingly balanced with three cherries that add more sweetness. The cheesecake is another great dessert. Creamy with thick graham cracker crust topped with cherries. The cheesecake and the cherries aren't very sweet. The sweetness comes from the graham cracker crust. Outstanding. Their beer is enjoyable too. My husband and our guest like them a lot. I had the zero percent Guinness and it is really good.
