Once the…read moreState of PA decided to accept phone calls to specific locations..the ability to order online appeared to be available where it wasn't previously (at least to me..lol)! I was able to get through online and there was a 6 bottle limit! I ordered on Tuesday and my delivery arrived at my house on Thursday! This was fantastic! The only reason this review is not 5-stars is because State of PA needs to update our backwards laws..please allow spirits in all locations for the citizens of the Commonwealth-it is overdue!

The Chairman's Selection wines are always exceptional wines and are usually discounted by about $10 (I always thought the stated discounts were exaggerated but when I look up them up, the retail prices are as high as stated). The only downside is that, like everything on City Ave, it's annoying to get to due to traffic. Despite that, this will forever be my go-to wine store as long as I live in this area.

They have a really good beer selection, albeit a small one. They have what can only be a 'select' variety of choices. You can speak with the chaps and chapettes at the counter for all kinds of knowledgeable answers for everything they have in stock. As for the restaurant next door, it's a good little spot! The kitchen is decent enough to pop out some tasty dishes. My sister and I grabbed a burger there once. it wasn't too bad. But I am here for the beer and the cozy vibes. I've seen folks bring dogs, small children (it's a quiet spot, it doesn't scream family friendly) and older folks too. I love the Greeks, really I do. Just keep in mind, the next few years there is some kind of living complex being built directly across the street of this quaint tiny little town. Expect things to change. I normally ask them to brown the cheese well but i forgot this time. Much to my surprise, what came out had lots of gooey cheese baked onto the outside of the bowl. It took me a while just to pick it all off. It was also well browned. Although the broth could use a little more flavor, it was the best French Onion Soup I had had in a while. The beer was pretty good too. The server gave me several tastes before I decided which one to get. All in all a nice experience.

There's lots of preserved details and, aside from the steel stools and chairs you see in every farmhouse style bar, the structure itself makes it feel like the brewery could have been there for 50 years. On their FB page, they have videos from 2021 advertising the shop. There's a vibe that they really know their alcohol and pride themselves on the business and aren't just simply selling just to sell. The cheesecake is another great dessert. Creamy with thick graham cracker crust topped with cherries. The cheesecake and the cherries aren't very sweet. The sweetness comes from the graham cracker crust. Outstanding. Their beer is enjoyable too. My husband and our guest like them a lot. I had the zero percent Guinness and it is really good.
