Absolute medical negligence and unacceptable patient care.I visited this office on July 8, 2026,…read morefor a highly painful, swollen, and itchy growth on the back of my neck. I was examined by Abu Sheriff, who completely missed the issue, dismissed it as an "infected skin tag," and sent me home with a prescription. My symptoms grew significantly worse. Two days later, the agonizing pain forced me to go to Patient First for emergency care. After a proper, thorough examination, the doctor there found that it was not a skin tag at all--it was a large, live tick that had been embedded in my neck for weeks. They removed it immediately.Because Abu Sheriff failed to perform a basic, careful examination, I carried a live tick for days longer than necessary. I have now officially tested positive and been diagnosed with Lyme disease as a direct result of this delayed removal and severe oversight.I have full medical documentation, photographs, and records from Patient First proving this negligence. This office is a major patient safety hazard. If you value your health, avoid this facility and this provider.

Since moving to Stafford, I chose Embrey Mill Urgent & Primary Care because of its convenience and…read morepositive reviews. Unfortunately, after several visits over the past three years, I still don't feel like an established patient, and my most recent visit left me feeling particularly dismissed. I've previously had positive experiences with Nurse Practitioner Leimary Aranibar, but she was unavailable, and I was seen by Dr. Khan. Even scheduling this appointment started on a disappointing note, as the gentleman who assisted me over the phone came across as somewhat unprofessional and not particularly welcoming. I came in with 3 health concerns and, after waiting about 20-30 minutes, spent roughly 15 minutes with the doctor. My primary concern was dismissed as allergies with little discussion of other possible causes, testing, follow-up, or a specialist referral. When I asked about weight-loss options, there was no discussion of my health, lifestyle, or available treatments, and I was directed elsewhere. When I brought up stress, anxiety, and mental-health concerns, I was simply given a list of providers to photograph. I understand that not every concern can be resolved in one appointment and that referrals are sometimes appropriate. My disappointment was that I didn't feel my concerns were genuinely explored or that there was much effort to develop a plan moving forward. After reflecting on the visit, I realized I left feeling more like an inconvenience than a patient. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this practice for someone looking to establish a primary care relationship where they feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for.

Dr. Wang is a compassionate doctor that actually cares for her patients and ensures they receive the best possible care. She's very thorough in what she does and if there's a medical issue she can't handle, she directs you to the one who can. She makes sure I follow-up with all of my other physicians and get appropriate tests as needed. No better family physician anywhere. I was very disappointed in hearing of her leaving and will follow her wherever she goes. Commonwealth, you are losing a fantastic doctor. Sad day for you. The care and compassion for patients left once nurse practitioner Julie left. I big shame. They need to close down and start over again. (UPDATE:) I received a certified letter in the mail from the office manager. She stated that they were withdrawing further care and treatment effective immediately, due to my negative review. They also stated that I am expected to pay my balance within 30 days or they will send it to collections because they are removing my payment plan. Wow, this is completely laughable. Do yourself a favor and find a real practice that will show you care and concern. Not one that will refuse you service because of an opinion. Lucky for me I am relatively healthy, but I would hate to see someone with advanced medical problems get a letter like this. There are many kind, compassionate doctors out there. This practice is beyond help.
