I was treated like a new patient and told no appointments were available and to call back at the end of August when the next appointment block opens up because my "first appointment" had to be with a doctor. Don't know why I can't see the PA who should then be able to assign me to a new doctor at an office where I've been a patient for close to 15 years. I explained I had a appt card and an appt. She was very rude and unprofessional as she refused to let me see Dr Mastri. After going round and round she told me the dr said make another appt. The very rude office manager said I could be seen if I waited until all the other pts were seen. That took over 2 hrs. Dr Mastri came in and said I heard you came in on the wrong day!He spent 5 minutes with me and charged me for an extended visit. The next day I brought my appointment card to show the staff and they were even more ruder than before. They did not apologize or admit their mistake. I asked for a letter of apology signed by Dr Mastri and a check fcor $44.00 dollars whicfh is the amt I lost from not being at work! As of yet I haven't received so much as a sorry from the docfor. Don't waste your time with the 4 doctors in the group. Your life is at stake and no one deserves to be treated worse than a dead rat! First visit they saw a NP that has since retired…read more Dr. Smith did a medical procedure on the patient and was short, abrupt and lacked any bedside manner in his explanation of what he observed during the procedure. He scheduled (according to the display board in the waiting room) several procedures for the same day and seemed to rush through explaining the findings of the procedure to the patient and family. Not a good feeling as this is the person you just trusted to do a very delicate procedure to your body! I call the office for information on the biopsy and to schedule a follow up appointment and was told MS. KRISTI GARCIA, NP would do the follow up appointment. KRISTI GARCIA, NP, was a total opposite from the first NP and Dr.Smith. She showed a genuine interest in the patients care. She ask questions and listened to the answers, she was aware of the history and why the patient was seeing a gastroenterologist and made the patient confident in the medical treatments ordered. MS. GARCIA HAS what most medical professionals (that have treated our family), lost along the way, a true compassion and we are here to help you attitude. When you call to inquire , they put you on 15-30 minute hold times, verify your information, then ask you if you're the patient? Jennifer & Stephanie both, hung up on me on 10/12/26. Viola on 10/9/2026. And Angela In July 2026. Multiple messages for Dr. Smith to return calls go unanswered, to include an email to schedule another test with no explanation or reason. This behavior is another example of how my mom died 9 days after she was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. This un supervised, un ethical Gastrointestinal office staff and obviously the "MD" that pays them should be held accountable.

She had a co worker film me with his phone while I cried and pleaded with her for help in front of their building, in front of anyone walking in (instead of talking to me in a conference room or her office or a private area) all the while telling her I did not know where else to go for help... her response was to call the Fredericksburg Police department and had me Barred from the property with the threat of arrest for trespassing if I return.
