My baby came really fast (from no dilation to pushing within like 45 minutes) and Dr. Goff booked over from wherever she was. I told her my concerns and she did her best to accommodate my requests. Now I go see Kristin for my annual visits. She's wonderful. She explains all your options for everything, drawbacks and pluses, and never seems like she's in a hurry to get you out the door. Last year I found a lump in my breast and while it was cleared, she made sure to check it again this year and talk to me about it.

Dr. French was very thorough on my assessment and exam. She listened to me and made me feel like I wasn't crazy to have all these weird symptoms. I was so glad when she prescribed me HRT and also scheduled some further testing, which ended up coming back abnormal. She immediately sent me a message about my results and suggested I start iron supplements. Dr. French seems to really care about patients and I appreciate that. My first pregnancy and my first appointment, they ruined it…read more First they were super rude about the COVID vaccine and made my significant other wait, not just outside in the waiting room or hallway but down by the elevator and he just had ACL surgery and was on crutches not to mention he had a mask on. The reception approached it complete unprofessional and made us very uncomfortable. I didn't even want to do my appointment. No to mention they failed to share the information about their COVID policy when I made the appointment. I was 30 minutes early to my appointment to complete paperwork, when I finished I went in. The same receptionist was talking to me rudely treating me differently then everyone else, I ignored her because she was obviously ignorant. I was the 2nd person in the waiting room, 3 others arrived after me and I was the last person they called back. I felt as the nurse practitioner rushed through me, I didn't feel I gathered any information. Luckily, I have a sister who I have gone through 2 pregnancies with her so I have knowledge from that and doing my own research. When I left, the other receptionist at the front was on her phone and did not even notice I was there. I told her that I will be changing insurances so I would like to wait because I was unsure if they would take my new insurance. She said "okay" and still did not look up from her phone. I let this go because I was not going to go back there. Then a week later I received a letter in the mail from Rady's Prenatal Center saying they have tried to contact me multiple times. I never received a phone call from them. When I called the Rady Center she said it was for a referral from West Coast OBGYN. I had no idea what it was for and they had all incorrect information on me, luckily they had my correct address. I'm not sure how West Coast gave all the wrong information when I completed all new paperwork with the correct information? Long story short, they are not the place to go if you want a good experience.

My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Brown…read more At one of our final prenatal appointments, Dr. Brown measured my wife's belly using a fundal height measurement and told us that the baby was "regressing" and that we needed an induction ASAP. Naturally, we were alarmed and asked if we could first get an ultrasound to confirm what she was seeing. She told us there was "no time" for an ultrasound. When we asked if our baby was okay, her response was, "Yeah, but why wait? I'd rather be safe than sorry." Hearing that from our doctor terrified us. She then pressured us to schedule an induction for the following morning at 6:00 a.m. We left the appointment believing something could be seriously wrong with our baby. Because we weren't comfortable proceeding with an induction based solely on a fundal height measurement, especially since my wife wasn't experiencing any concerning symptoms, we sought a private ultrasound ourselves. The ultrasound showed that our baby was measuring appropriately for the pregnancy, and the sonographer found no concerning issues. We declined the induction and went to triage the following morning for a second opinion. The physician there was surprised by Dr. Brown's recommendation and, at our request, ordered another ultrasound. After reviewing the results, the doctor came back smiling and laughing, reassuring us that our baby looked completely healthy and that there were no concerns. During our visit to triage, the physician also remarked that we were not the first patients to come in with concerns after seeing Dr. Brown. Hearing that only reinforced our belief that our experience was not an isolated one. What disappointed us most was not simply that another doctor had a different medical opinion. It was how Dr. Brown communicated with us. She came across as pushy and unwilling to truly listen to our concerns or respect our wishes. Instead of discussing options and helping us make an informed decision, we felt pressured to follow her recommendation without the diagnostic testing we had specifically requested. Every patient deserves to feel heard and respected, especially during such an emotional time. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Dr. Brown, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend her.
