We were having so much fun playing board games that we didn't notice it was way past dinner time. We needed something quick and we decided to pick up some slices from "Naps" We have been coming here for a long time and they do not disappoint. This is a pick-up spot where there is a walkup window to place your order. They have been here so long that the little league team plaques on the wall are all faded. The service is quick as they have pizza slices ready to go. Pep, sausage, cheese and veggie. We got pep, sausage and cheese. We decided to get fried zucchini and breadsticks (which is the first time we ever got something other than pizza). The pizza slices are huge but sometimes they cut it inconsistent and you get a small slice. The crust is crispy in the outside and chewy on the inside. The thickness is a bit thicker than a NY Style pizza. Overall the sauce has a slight tang to it. The fried zucchini was cooked to a nice crisp and came with ranch dip. The bread sticks were baked where it was crisp and fluffy and had marinara sauce. As usual we were not disappointed. If you are ever near Palatine and you want some slices, head over to Naps. read more

Unassuming location in a small strip mall. I heard alot of talk about this place so had to give it a try and unfortunately was quite disappointed. I have tried it a few times to give it multiple chances, and to see if I just got it on a bad day. I have tried the pizza by the slice (to thick and bready for me), whole pizzas (just kinda blah), and serveral pasta dished (didn't look or taste good). I wish I could enjoy this place but cannot. Honestly I dont understand why this place has so many people enjoying it or posting about it. The only thing I can come up with is that they do some lunch specials that are popular with younger kids, so its more of a memory sort of thing. But honestly I'd rather save money and order fast food pizza chains then eat here :( read more

Napoli Pizza has been a favorite of my family for years. The go-to pizza is their western pizza. It has bacon, sausage, and onions with barbecue sauce. This time, we had extra people over to the house, so we also got a spinach, bacon, and pineapple pizza. The crust was so thick that my knife had trouble cutting through it. Otherwise, the pizzas were good. Napoli Pizza is very consistent. Their pizzas are good but not special. I recommend Napoli Pizza! read more

I am not sure if they are related but this location is pick up only and the pizza doesn't wow me like the other locations. it is good pizza with pleasant service. Also had a coupon which is a treat! Pizza sucks. Guy behind the counter doesn't let people use the bathroom. The pizza is all bread. I ordered the wings from there one time too. mMy girlfriend & I didn't like em. trash. The best slice in town. That's what is says on the door, and it says that for a reason. For 4 bucks you'll get a big thick slice of pizza. The crust is fluffy, the cheese is stretchy and it will always taste fresh. Don't been fooled by the small, yet charming, building. The food and overall experience is far from small. Old school pizza joint-the look and the smell took me back to walking into LoGalbos in my old Chicago neighborhood as a kid.. pizza not quite the same though (nobody can top the long defunct LoGalbos in my opinion-and that will probably never change) Its carry out. Great big slices. Reasonably priced. Medium weight to the crust. A bit doughy on the edges. Sauce and toppings A1. A really good lunch time slice. By far the most disgusting slice of "Chicago style" pizza that I have ever had. There is an inch or just under an inch of dull below A layer of cheese that is as thin or just thinner than a slice of Kraft singles cheese. I have eaten lots of pizza in my life and in my career as a chef and I can't believe this place still calls them selves "home of the Chicago style pizza". I honestly don't think the Original owner back in the mid-1960s ever imagined that his pizza would be disregarded to be a shame of pizza in general. I honestly think he would be rolling around in his grave if he knew the disgusting pizza that his family is serving now to the Chicago community. Obviously the community where this location yes sad for many years understand what real Chicago style pizza is supposed to be like. Never again will my lips touch a slice of this so called "Chicago Style pizza".
