NO STARS1 My daughter purchased a used 2021 Buick Encore from Ed Napleton Nissan with less than 68,000 miles on March 3, 2025. On May 5, 2025, she took it in to this Nissan service department complaining about the car shifting hard from park to drive. They noted on ticket that their were no codes and car shifted fine, They told her that that was just the way Buicks were but if it got worse to take it to the Buick dealer. On June 13, 2025 she took the car to Lou Fusz Buick. After test driving the car they determined it needed a new transmission. We then went and confronted the General Sales Manager at Napleton Nissan, Mazin Gheith, explaining our disappointment that they sold her a car with a bad transmission. He asked if she test drove the car! Then asked if there was anything they could do. I said yes pay for a new transmission. He said that it was a good thing we had purchased an extended warranty and that would take care of the cost of them fixing the problem. We said since their service department was not able to properly diagnose the problem and blew off her concerns that she would have the work done at the Buick dealer. Apparently there was a clause in the extended warranty that if there is a Nissan dealer within 20 miles of the vehicle the work must to done by Napleton unless Napleton waives that. That was another big delay, because they didn't know that and it took weeks before the warranty company would approve the repair. Once approved she took the car in to Buick dealer on June 25, but because delay in waiting for parts to be shipped work could not be done until July 20 and completed on July 22, 2025. She had to rent a car for 4 weeks and only 10 days were covered by extended warranty. I went back to Mazin Gheith at Napleton and told him we thought of something he could do and that would be to provide her with a loaner for a few weeks and he said that Buick was the dealer making money off this "let them give her a loaner". So in closing, we will never do business with this dealer again. They are rude, unprofessional, unreliable and have no customer service! read more

Purchased my truck two months ago. As of today I am unable to obtain my Florida tag because the title has not yet been processed by Napleton Nissan. Reached out to Seth and Owen for assistance but they have not yet responded to any of my text messages. My temporary tag will expired next week, therefore I will not be able to drive my truck to work on an expired temporary tag. Think twice about purchasing a vehicle from Napleton if you are from another state. What an awful experience. read more

After years of buying cars, I was excited to finally buy my first muscle car. I visited a few car lots, and I was not happy with the experience. I'm a professional mechanic and could read through some of the mistruth information. I then mad appointment with Napleton. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a young gentleman (Devon), who was friendly and polite. He was honest and knowledgeable. If he didn't know he was honest and found the information needed. After test driving the car, I proceeded to make an awesome deal. Devon along with the finance team worked their magic and got me into my dream car. I've bought many cars in my lifetime, but the service I received at Napleton was top notch customer service. I highly recommend talking to Devon if you're looking for a car. read more

I can see why this is rated 1.5 stars. I called them on the weekend inquiring about a car. I was told that they were busy and that someone would call me back. No call ever came. So I called when they opened on Monday, The person tells me that the manager will call me. No call for 2 hours so I asked when I'll get a call and they said he tried to call me, which I doubt since I had my phone the entire time and there were no missed calls. So I called again towards the end of the day. I ended up getting some rude sales person. When I explained that I have called multiple times and was trying to explain everything, the guy stopped me by interrupting me and telling me that I was on the verge of assaulting him. I said,"Assault"?. He replies and says, well maybe not assault, and then keeps talking and then tells me that the car I was interested in was sold. I did not raise my voice at him nor did I even sound upset. How hard was it for any of these people that I spoke with since Saturday to just look the info up and tell me that the car was not there. These guys seem like crooks and want you to come in so you waste your time only so they can try to sell you something else. Be careful of the bad service and possible bait and switch. read more

We took our son's truck here and experienced nothing but drama and rude people who WOULD NOT SEND ME AN ESTIMATE! Literally I asked 3 times for a written estimate for us to review as we were told that our "extended warranty" was not covering anything and we need a new engine and transmission!!!! They threw out numbers of $60,000 in repairs and it took 3 phone calls and finally a rude service manager to get an email estimate! I wrote a note to the GM on their webpage where it says David Evans will respond promptly....they respond as fast as the car buying process was so no call yet: On Saturday, Sept 28, we purchased a 2024 Platinum Pathfinder. There is probably not enough space here to communicate all that was wrong with the process. Both my husband and I are in sales/service roles and were amazed at the lack of professionalism/knowledge/etc. Needless to say we have purchased MANY cars and this by far was the worst experience. We originally started out at Bommarito, and test drove the car there so we knew what we wanted and had all the information pulled and printed from your website. Upon arrival, we were given to Rick who I'm sure is a very nice person but sorely lacking in training. He was forcing me to drive the car "just a few feet so I don't get in trouble" and I said no that is dumb as I just drove the car an hour ago at another dealer. We arrived at 1:00 and did not walk out of the dealership until 5:30 missing our wedding anniversary dinner reservation at Paul Manno's which we had expressed to your sales manager several times and who by the way needs to just retire as all he does is walk around and tell us how busy you all are and pretty much did not care. Believe me if we had another option we would have walked out as we basically spoon fed the deal to the sales team and knew what we wanted and yet it took almost 5 hours to get a deal done as we agreed to terms early on. Is this acceptable to you? And the finance director was clueless as to our aggravated state as she just kept talking about all her personal stuff which normally I'm ok with but you also need to know how to read the room and no one at your dealership did that. They said "oh we will do something for your for missing your anniversary dinner" (our anniversary was on the 28th) and nothing was done. There were people bringing in food who were customers and I suppose they were told this is going to be an all day event so bring in your lunch? Again, we have literally bought dozens of cars and never had this type of experience. read more

I scheduled an appointment last week for a recall on my vehicle. The women who assisted with scheduling was extremely professional and managed to get me in the very next week to have it completed. I chose the 7am drop off with a shuttle to work which fell well within their 11 mile radius. I arrived this morning at 6:45am to make sure I was there in time for appointment. As I sat in my car I noticed that the lights were all off in the showroom along with the service area while an employee stood waiting to be let in. This remained for the next 10 minutes. Finally employee was let in and I exited my car for doors to open at 7. As I entered, the women that was waiting to get in was perched behind the computer. I walked up and she informed me that someone would be with me shortly. It was 7 minutes before I was assisted by my service tech appearing from the rear of the bay area. It didn't take long to get checked in from there and he asked if I was waiting- I said no I was scheduled for a shuttle. I was then directed to showroom to wait for driver. Having never been there before, I did not know that the waiting room was actually to the left of the doors they sent me through. Regardless, I sat in the showroom area waiting for my shuttle. It is now 7:27 before I go back to service desk to inquire about the shuttle. I was met with there is only one person here, he has to go locate a vehicle and gas it up but they will come get me when he is there. I have never waited for a prearranged shuttle before at other dealerships. My tech then comes in and said my vehicle will be done in about 10 minutes so I decided to wait. Needless to say it wasn't 10 minutes. I was extremely dissatisfied with their quality of professionalism and the only reason I gave 2 stars was for the sweet women who arranged my appointment. I never posted this because I dislike giving negative reviews and thought maybe my expectations might have been too high since I'm used to certain service at another dealership. But I can assure you that is not the case. Today I received a text message from my technician who had the audacity asking me to fill out the review from the dealership and to give him all 10s for my overall experience. He then proceeded to tell me he is low on good reviews and it directly effects his livelihood. Sir, since you have asked me to fill out the survey, I will, but I can assure you, you will not be receiving any 10's!! read more

Made an appointment to test drive a 2021 Charcoal Altima SL with all wheel drive and the day of the appointment I received 3 calls from the dealership. Call 1 to pick a time, call 2 I explained I had already been contacted, call 3 was to confirm I was coming. Arrived at 440 went inside and a few min later someone said they would send help. 15 min later I got up to find someone and the same salesman thought I was being help. Explained the appointment and he rudely explained the calls were from Florida marketing or something like that. Anyway I gave my license and he sent someone to get the car. Later that porter said he couldn't find it. The salesman is now zipping around on a golf cart, then walking in and out of the office but not communicating with me or my wife. Finally I asked him what is going on and he can't find the keys, says the manager might have them. After approximately 20 we decide to tell him to call me if he finds them but he rudely considers to stop looking if we leave. A couple minutes later we go to the office and politely say we're leaving and want the managers to communicate it to the salesman as a courtesy but the one that did look up didn't even seem to care about that or why.We were there from approx 440 until 515 on 4/19/24. Please check the cameras, horrible experience. By the way, I really loved the car and wanted it because it matched my Charcoal Pathfinder. *BUYER BEWARE* I came to this dealership a couple weeks ago to purchase a vehicle. I have purchased many cars over the years, but this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I ago in to ask for a particular vehicle, and they do the usual salesman bull crap and say that vehicle just left. So they can sell me something with a bigger price tag. My first mind was to leave, but I was in a rental that I had for the day. So, I stay there. Isaiah pulls up a vehicle that is more expensive of course. When I come outside to test it, he has the trunk up and all the doors to hide this huge scrape on the back of the trunk which I didn't see until towards the end of the process. We come back from the test, and start the buying process. My salesman Isaiah, Ron, and Dylan kept trying add their products to the total price of the vehicle. I mean they literally kept trying to bully me into saying that I'd buy it. They ended up taking it off, but they were mad. Finally, got to the Financing lady Lisa. She was horrible. She kept all of my paperwork, and some information Isaiah gave me because she said she could get me a better interest rate. So, finally when everyone has left for the day at almost 10pm I get ready to leave. I look at the trunk because the trunk has a huge dug out scratch on the back. I go back to talk to their financing manager Ron he says I don't have anymore money. I'm like what? You haven't even came and looked at it. So, I don't want the vehicle I tell Ron and Isaiah. Isaiah says well you'll have to come back in the morning to get your check. I give them the keys and get ready to leave. Isaiah comes out before I leave and says that They will take care of the trunk. Talked to the Financing lady Lisa on the phone next day. She says that she can get me a lower interest rate, but I would have to take the GAP insurance and the extended warranty. The note would come out to an amount that I wasn't comfortable with, so I tell her no. She says then we'll just keep you at the higher interest rate. When in the next day to talk to Don the General Manager. I tell him about what all went wrong that day. He says that he'll talk to them. Don the General Manager says that it's illegal to give someone a lower interest rate by making them take added product. He also says the following Monday that he'd have a loaner vehicle so I could get my trunk fixed. Weeks have passed and they have still been giving me the run around about fixing it. I also try to get my original paperwork from Lisa and she's gotten rid of it. Lisa is also lying now saying she never offered me a better deal. Why did you keep my original deal for days then? I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. From the General Manager on down everyone here is dishonest. read more

Called to work up numbers on a 2020 Nissan Leaf and was told they do not quote over the phone. I live in Indy but have leased my last two cars out of state where I found the most competitive pricing. Called Napleton Nissan in STL as they had the best price advertised on Autotrader and was told that they will not quote lease numbers over the phone. You expect someone from out of state to drive 3 hours each way for a quote? Good luck. read more

Buying or leasing a new car shouldn't be as much as a hassle as these guys make it. Also, buyer beware - they offered me a lease for an identical vehicle at twice the rate that Bommarito offered it. They completely screwed up the calculation or were just downright dishonest. Luckily, my background is in finance and saw the issue. This was after spending an hour on the stupid car dealer questions that didn't need to be asked because I had already contacted them via internet on a specific vehicle sitting out front. I will never use this Nissan service department again. The whole experience was terrible. Now, please know that this was over a period of not even 2 months. I first brought it in because of problems with my bluetooth. They said that it was just a software update needed, so I sat for 3 hours in the waiting room for it to be completed. Before I ever drove off the lot, I tried my bluetooth and it still wasn't working, so I turned around. Well, guess we have to order you a new radio. Waited for it to come in and then another 3 hours in the waiting room. A week later, my power seat was grinding so I brought it in again. A seat motor was ordered. This time I dropped the car off. PIcked the car up and when I got home, I realized that my auto-matic seat adjust wasn't working. Brought the car in again and waited again for them to tell me that they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They put me in a loaner car. For nearly two weeks, I drove that loaner car until I decided to take things in my own hands and call Nissan NA. They got a regional representative involved and I finally got my car back. I didn't notice right away, but it doesn't stop there! They managed to break the side seat molding. They had to order the part which was supposed to come in the next day. A few phone calls, and the part finally came in nearly two weeks later. Well, my service adventure is complete with this dealership. They returned my car to me "fixed, not once, but three times. Their quality control is non existent. Also very important is, especially during a pandemic, I expected the employees working behind the desk to be wearing masks; they weren't. I also expected that they would have cleaned my car after crawling inside it for two weeks. They couldn't even spend 10 minutes with a shop vac. read more

Watch out for the bait and switch! Their website advertised Kicks for 13,434 after a 7,270 manufacture savings. I spoke to some on the phone who confirmed that this was correct and reserved the car for me. On the way to the dealership, I got a call from the "salesperson" stating that the vehicle I had on reserve, was not longer available. I then stated I didn't care so much about the color, but I expected the same deal. He then proceeded to tell me I could only get that if I qualified for the rebate. there was noting on the website indicating that this was a qualifying deal. All the website said was MRSP $20,705 Savings $7,270 Discounted price $13,435. Needless to say, I ended up going somewhere else to buy my Kicks. read more

Stay Away from these shysters! After test driving two cars, I asked the salesman and his boss to write down all the extraneous fees (tax, admin fees, etc.) along with his best price for the car I liked. I told them that I don't make snap decisions on expensive purchases and that price was the most important factor in my decision. They wrote down the price of the car that was posted online with a host of other fees. Included was the $1,500 fee for the "Napleton Experience" which included some oil changes and car washes. In other words, it is $1,500 of profit for the dealership which is of little or no value to the customer. I then asked, "What is the price if I pay cash?" Their response was that I could not do that, my only option was to finance. But, I could pay the car off in a month or two. I asked to speak to their finance manager, but he was conveniently not available. I told them that I preferred to pay cash. Thanked them for their time and left. The sales manager's boss called me a couple days later with the revelation that it was possible to pay cash. They had revised their offer slightly but still insisted to include the extraneous items (the Napleton experience and paint/fabric protection.) I told them to give me a couple days to consider their new offer. I did a VIN search on the car I wanted and found that it was a few hundred dollars cheaper earlier in the year. When I emailed my offer to the salesman, I started with that lower number. I added a few accessories from the Nissan website and added those to the price of the car. A week went by and I didn't hear a word. No acceptance. No rejection. No counter offer. So, I sent another email stating that I was shocked that I didn't receive a reply. In the salesperson's email, he said that the lower price I found was for a different car. Keep in mind, I copy and pasted the VIN number that was on the website, under the car in question. Further, he stated, "with the aggressive pricing including discounts off MSRP, my General Manager has informed me that your offer is below our advertised price." Keep in mind that my offer was MORE than the advertised price. The salesman said REPEATEDLY that my best chance was to come back in person so he "could go to bat for me." I refused. I emailed him a second offer to present to his boss. My offer isn't going to magically increase if I am there or not. Bottom line...don't bother with these jokers. read more

Awful. Poor customer service. Poorly managed. AVOID!!! 7am service appointment scheduled to drop off car and get a rental for the day. I called the day before to double check everything was scheduled. It took an hour to simply drop off the car. Appointments seem to mean nothing. No other customers when I showed up, so it wasn't like they were busy. I witnessed the service associate melt down, fighting among employees, disorganization, chaos, etc. I was told the service should be completed by early afternoon. Not hearing anything, I called at 3:20pm and found they hadn't even started working on my car yet. What is the reason for scheduling an appointment? From everything I have witnessed, this is a very poorly run facility. read more

I have yet to have good service in the Service Department. I have given them multiple tries to include scheduling an oil change at 11:00 and here it is 2:00 3 hours later and I'm still waiting. I could not be more appalled with this dealership. I have yet to have a good experience with sales or service. Today I arrived for a scheduled oil service and was told I couldn't get in and would have to come back tomorrow. What's the point of having an appointment? Why didn't someone call and tell me after I left work an hour early? I got a reminder just yesterday. Not only that, but the service guy rolled his eyes at me. This is the last car I will buy from this dealer. I'm on my fourth Nissan and I don't even want to stick with the brand. I am supposed to get my servjce free with the coveted Napleton Care. but had to go to a Valvoline and of course had to pay. Never again will I set foot in Napleton. I got into a car accident last year and needed a car. After doing a bunch of research I found the car I wanted at this place. I lived 2 hours away but I made the drive. I was okay with the price online. After talking to someone there my ride left because I was sure I wanted the car. Then I found out the price they gave me was not at all the price I was going to pay. They wouldn't help lower in anyway. They told me I can get my oil changed and any tire protection plan issue completed at any Nissan. He also told me that my credit was not the best so my interest was going to be high. He said he has "perfect" credit and pays about the same though. Once in the finance office I found out that you can only have the services done there, so the dealer lied and my credit was 822. When I went to use the tire protection I had to drive 2 hours for them to take a picture and see if they would even fix it. They approved it, but I had to make a different appointment to take it in for the whole day. And they wouldn't give me a car. The people are rude. They don't listen and they don't care. Not to mention anytime I called the lady had the worst attitude, everytime. And they took days to get back to you. The only thing good about this place is their free hot chocolate. I no longer have the Nissan and I will never go back. read more

My salesman was extremely nice. His name was Brad and if he worked at another dealership I would work with him again. The "deal maker" on the other hand was absolutely horrible. I don't remember his name but he had an accent. He was very condescending and very, very pushy. I knew the financing and interest rate I could get as I had already talked to my bank. Yet, he kept trying to push a 14% interest rate and an 8 year loan. That was probably worse than the money I've had to put into the vehicle so far. I purchased a truck at fair market price for a vehicle in excellent condition. However I've had to put $1200 into it so far due to issues that were covered up. The truck had specs of metal all over the paint which had rusted. You couldn't see them until you were up close and the vehicle was cleaned properly. After, two days, and a lot of time and money, the vehicle is pristine, inside and out, no thanks to the dealer. Next, the plastic cover over the head light appears to have been super glued on, or at least attempted. That came lose and it was over $900 to fix as you have to replace the whole head light assembly since the bracket the plastic fascia connects to is part of the head light. The dealership refused to fix these coverups so I was forced to fix them myself. I would NEVER shop at this place again. Nor, would I have my vehicle serviced here. STAY AWAY!! read more

December 21st we went to Napleton Nissan in search of a new car. We found a beautiful Nissan Murano, drove it, loved everything about and worked out a deal. Loved the people and even had the GM Ron Mayhall sit down and talk with us. Fast forward 5 days, we kept smelling a faint burning smell each time we drove the car. Day after Christmas, lift the hood to find the heat shield shredded and a hole through it. Clearly a rodent had crawled up there. Called they said no problem bring it back we will take care of it. 2 days later pick up my car. Came home Popped the hood and all the stuffing was STILL IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT! In addition found exposed wires right in plain view. Service receipt said everything was check and no issued detected and told via phone they "went over it with a fine tooth comb". Called them immediately the next morning and We waited 5+ hours that day (a Saturday) for ANYONE to return our call. GM Ron Mayhall says we are just going to get a new car and avoid the hassle. They find the same car and color, and swap out the wheels since mine had black wheels. At this point it's dark and Joe is checking it over and notices SCRATCHES ALL OVER THE CAR! In addition to a DENT. We spend the next WEEK trying to get a hold of Ron Mayhall the GM. January 5 they hadn't talked and figured out anything for us. No one we talked to on the phone knew ANYTHING and couldn't give us a straight answer. At this point we said we were coming back down to get my BMW back that we traded in, and we were DONE!! they arranged to drive to my school on Monday (January 7 now) to pick up the 2nd black Murano I had, swap out the wheels and have it back by 2:30 dismissal so I could get to dentist at 3 and then to my daughters basketball game at 4:30. Monday I walk out to the parking lot at 2:35 and THERE IS NO CAR THERE FOR ME! I'm stranded. Joe called down there and spends next 20 minutes trying to get a hold of someone at Napleton Nissan!! Finally at 3:10 they show up with my 3rd Murano. I missed my appointment and just barely made it to my daughters game. Here we are, January 7th, 10 days from the issue not being fixed, and we still have YET TO TALK TO THE GM, RON MAYHALL. I guess once he made his initial deal with us nothing else mattered. They sent someone to Winfield for Joe to sign all paperwork and GAVE US NO COPIES OF ANYTHING. We waited a few days, called down to find out if they were sending us copies of all our purchasing paperwork and we were just told yesterday, January 18th that we don't need any papers, we have a VIN number!!! PEOPLE! DO NOT GO TO NAPLETON NISSAN OR ANY NAPLETON STORE! I have NEVER had such miscommunication and lack of putting a customer first in my life. read more

I was torn between a used renegade and a new rogue. David was patient and let me ask a million silly questions until I felt comfortable with my decision.
