Modern style buildings adorn this campus. Very close to the busy Airport rd in Naples…read more As you see from photos spacious and roomy. Lots of tables and chairs inside and out. There's a cafe where the culinary students cook and sell meals. Today it was lunch only from 11:30-12:00. A bowl of veggies mixed in rice looked yummy but had sausage so I declined. With a drink it was like $4 Lots of courses offered from writing, drafting, computers, Surgery technician to cosmetology, and even Veterinary assistant. This is summer so the classes are limited. This is also a part of Collier county schools. Classes offered are for degrees as well as just fun adult improvement courses. Everyone must check in at the receptionist desk by the media center right in the lobby. What's weird is I couldn't find Building 2. Only saw signs for 1 and 3. Told I was to walk past the lobby to the next building which was 3, go thru a hallway to take an elevator up to second floor where my classroom was in building 2. Hmmmmm ... someone messed up. How bout some signage? At the end of the campus are alternative schools. Not the best places to hang, but hopefully kids can turn their lives around there with a more stricter, disciplined setting. There is a covered walkway connecting the buildings and plenty of parking.

tried very hard to avoid writing this review but the career source has continuously reached out for…read moreme asking for it. I think 1 asking for a review is tacky. 2 when i needed anything from this school, nursing program, or career sources it was extremely difficult, so they only act like they care when it benefits them. Career services knew I was taking a different path than most in my field. She then cut my meeting short when I had many questions and said she would reach out after graduation. She has reached out multiple times for a review, but not once helping me with employment or even reaching out to finish our conversation. The school has an entire career source program, and the first time i heard from them was on my final day of classes. They have not helped me in a job search nor any of my questions. I've asked multiple times for advice on how to navigate what I want to do and I've heard nothing. The lectures i sat through taught me nothing about real nursing and was basically how to coddle a grown adult. I learned more in 12 days to prepare me for the NCLEX then i did in the 2 years in this program. I've been in 2 other nursing programs, one bachelors and dropped out, second FSW and dropped due to covid, but those programs were much more structured and i learned much more in my time there. The skill days were a joke and reinacted with fake tools rather than learning how to do something. The skill days and labs in the other schools were much more real life. I think everyone learned only during oreceptor, even during clinical's we were not allowed to do anything or not wanted. The program itself was not helpful, the dean quit half way through my second last semester and was not available. Nobody took her place and students were not even informed regarding this, but rather swept under the rug and negatively effected our learning ang grades as we tried to reach out for help or advice and was told no. I was denied tutoring by a pregnant staff member because she had other priorities, she probably shouldn't have been teaching that semester then. The school hounds you on due dates and penalize you, but they can't stick to their own schedule and everything is chaos all the time. they forget to tell you things or tell you last minute then blame the students. I was an evening/ weekend student and ended up on days. I missed out on work and the school pretends small class sizes are designed to help you, when asking for help the teachers throw temper tantrums. I was bullied and singled out by those teachers as well as atleast 6 other students i know. The policy is looked aside for certain students and favoritism is very much a thing. Appeals have been made multiple students and they pick and choose who to help vs who to not. after paying 20k and making it to every class for 2 years, my friend was denied re entry after not passing her last 6 weeks, when other students have had their grades changed to push them through. I have photo evidence of all of this and will be reaching out for loan reimbursement.

ELECTRICAL PROGRAM…read more If you are interested in enrolling into this school for the electrical program please just give this post a thought. As a young adult, going to this school has been the worst mistake i have made financially. Mostly because the program has no upside to it when wanting to become a real electrician. This school has done nothing for my career other than making me in debt 12k+. I literally never even went up there to pick up my diploma because it has no value to being an electrician. I make all A's at this school. This program is a complete joke. To be honest, if you want to become an electrician, this program is the last place i would go. The sales ladies or "counselors" as they say are there to make you sign a piece of paper, they are not there to look out for you. The teachers lie. You ask questions about how to become a journeyman electrician and a license electrical contractor and they just lie to you and brain wash you. They don't give you a real answer and that's because you're sitting in the wrong spot and putting your money into the wrong program. This program doesn't go toward an apprentice or a state credited program to become an electrician because you will have to do that when wanting to become an electrician. This is my advice If you're serious about wanting to become an electrician the real way and get licensed is by going to a local company that offers an apprenticeship. There are plenty in the area. They will pay for you to go to school. If you go to this program you will still have to go through the schooling once you get out anyways but this way it's FREE! Now as a year fourth apprentice and about to be taking my journeyman test in a few months, this is something i have looked back and regretted almost everyday. especially around this time every month when 150 gets taken out of my bank. I hate to knock this school because i have no clue what the other programs are like by any means but this program needs to go away. I promise it's nothing but a money grab for the school. They sure got me when i went up there as a younger kid not knowing anything and they told me everything i wanted to hear. Please just consider this when considering the program. Don't do it i sure wish someone was there to tell me not too. Lastly, whoever is in charge at this school i would love to have a conversation. You see my name, im sure you can find my contact in your files.
