They charged me $800 for a CNA/HHA hybrid course that I could have looked up online and would have turned out better. I drove 30 minutes each day and the professor talked about personal matters whenever he felt like it. He didn't wear a mask even though they said they were preparing the classrooms with CDC guidelines. He was 30 minutes late once and they never rescheduled that time for another day. He gave us all 100s even if we were mistaken in a couple of questions. That is not teaching!!! I absolutely hated that place. Shame on them bc they are a scam. All they care about is their money and personal talks.

Larry Arfmann helped enroll her in the EMT class at the last minute and was incredible at communicating and assisting with the whole process of enrollment and certification after the course was completed. He is exceptional! Jon and Joe were the instructors in the course and are very knowledgeable, personable, professional and went above and beyond to make sure the students are prepared to succeed in the field and pass the EMT examination. My daughter learned a lot, and took the NREMT examination two weeks after the course completion and passed the text. I cannot recommend this company enough! The staff is amazing and will prepare you to succeed!

If you find going to school is hard imagine dealing and taking care of patients in real life then this profession is not for you. I contacted multiple people at this school before signing up. I was promised that not only does…read morethe CA Board of Nursing endorse students from PIC, but the people at PIC told me that they'd walk me through doing it when the time comes. I even looked up other reviews, which seemed to be all bad, but I figured that those must be from students who were just complaining because they were doing poorly. So I signed up. I have a 4.0 GPA in my courses that I transferred in, very intelligent, so I'm sure I would do just fine. Boy was I wrong! These people are clowns! They assign homework that has nothing at all to do with what you are studying and massive quantities of discussion board posts. For each course you are in, you have to do one main discussion post per week, then post replies to 2 other people's post, then post replies to the 2 people that posted to your original post. So 5 posts PER WEEK PER CLASS. And each post must be like 500-1000 words. In a 4 course term, that's 20 TWENTY discussion posts per week. PER WEEK! That's about 10-15 hours of discussion posts per week! And they make up the weekly topics in each class....."Discuss how using statistics can assist you when helping a patient who is experiencing pain" Are you kidding me?!?! I'm supposed to come up with FIVE posts this week on a topic that is nonsense? Another real issue is that after you take your tests.....and find out that you failed....they will not go over the tests with you so that you know what you did wrong. Not once did an instructor let me know what I did wrong. HOW is a student supposed to fix what they are doing if they don't even know what they did wrong? And let's be real, there is NO way that EVERY student in our cohort was failing all of these tests! That's statistically impossible! Now for the worst part.....about a year into this program, I found out that the CA BON does NOT endorse students from PIC. So I went immediately to my zoom classroom to discuss this with the professor/teacher's aid/other students. The professor immediately got the owner of the school and the other admin on the zoom call with us (they never turned on their cameras) and I told them what I had found out. I told them that I do not believe rumors at all, so when I heard the rumor, I immediately called the CA BON myself and was told by the BON that they do not endorse from PIC. I had actually called 3 times and was told this all 3 times, mainly because I didn't want to believe it myself. After telling the others about what I had found out, the school owner yelled at me and called me a liar. Actually screamed "LIAR" at me. Blew my mind on how rude these people are! He said he would call the CA BON of nursing himself and get this straightened out, and then he would let us know. Weeks went by......I followed up with him via email......crickets. Never once did he nor anyone else respond to let me know how they had "corrected" the mistake that that CA BON was making. But....all of the other students then put in a call of their own and was told the same.....CA BON does not endorse from PIC. The ONLY time that I heard anything from PIC after this was they sent me a certified letter, from their lawyer, demanding to know how I found out that CA BON does not endorse PIC students. They demanded to know who I told about this as well, demanding names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of everyone involved. Are you kidding me?!?! Our entire cohort just found out that you lied to us and instead of fixing the mess....you're trying to intimidate me to find out how I found out? REAL CLOWNS! So I dropped from the school, and they have the audacity to continue to collect my Pell Grant funds even though I dropped out last year! I had to call Pell Grant and tell them not to process any funding from my account to PIC. I would not have even known PIC was still taking my Pell Grant funds, except that I transferred to an actual university and they told me that my Pell Grant for that semester had already been taken by PIC! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I dropped last year and PIC is still taking my Pell Grant. I have filed for loan forgiveness from FAFSA, as I would NEVER have gone to this school if they had not lied to me about CA BON endorsing! PIC lied and that's the only reason that I signed up. If PIC is the ONLY school available for you to attend.....find a new career path. PIC will not get you to your goal of being a nurse. Good luck to you!
