A joyful, welcoming laundry experience thanks to Renee!…read more I found Fast and Fresh Laundry online and decided to make the drive from Glen Ellyn to visit my son and do his laundry. I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how welcoming and joyful the environment was. Renee was the attendant on duty, and she is absolutely wonderful. Her nature is so helpful, professional, and warm. She thoroughly explained the process for using the machines and made sure I had everything I needed. The entire experience was fantastic, not only because of the great facilities but because of Renee's kind, friendly service. The laundromat itself is very clean and well-maintained, and I felt completely safe the entire time. It's a joyful and friendly atmosphere that made a chore feel more like a pleasant stop during my visit. If I'm ever in the area again, I will absolutely stop by just to say hi, even if I don't have any laundry to do. Do yourself a favor and go to Fast and Fresh Laundry--you will feel right at home!

It's a good location-right on Roosevelt Rd. near Trader Joe's and Starbucks which makes waiting easier. I always come to wash my comforter(s), since the washer I have at home is too small. Some of their washers and dryers are big enough to fit both at once which cuts down my time being there. The biggest dryer dries both of my queen size comforters within 45 minutes. I paid $6 for the washer and a little less than $2 for the dryer (it's .25 cents for 6 minutes I believe). Detergent and softener there is $1 each.

Little regard for the customers health. My eyes and throat are irritated. Shame on them. The place was full of dust we were all breathing. No, a laundry business should never remove ceiling tiles with customers directly underneath. Removing tiles generates significant airborne dust, debris, and potential health hazards (like asbestos, mold, or old insulation). Operations must be done after hours, or the immediate area must be strictly cordoned off

When my washer broke, my husband and I had to make a trip to a laundromat. We had trouble figuring…read moreout which places online were do-it-yourself laundromats and which were dry cleaners. This place is definitely DIY, but they do advertise drop off service (although I didn't see anyone who actually worked there, so maybe call ahead?). The hours of operation posted on the door are 7 am to 10 pm daily, which was was also hard to figure out online (Google said it opened at 10 am on Sunday.) The facility its self was fine. I wasn't happy about being there (unrelated to the facility) and thought it was really expensive... We used a large washer that fit 3 normal loads for 7.50$ for a warm wash, and a smaller washer for one load for 3$ for a hot wash. Drying was another 10$. All of this was in quarters (no laundry card... cash only). On the plus side, it only took about an hour and a half, which I thought was pretty good considering that laundry at home usually never ends. It was relatively clean and was large enough that you probably won't have to wait for a machine. I will probably end up going back out of necessity (dirty gym clothes wait for no repair man), and it wasn't so awful that I want to find an alternative. All in all, this place is fine if you need it. Here's hoping that you don't.

My shirts all face a certain direction. After my first batch of shirts came back - they were going the wrong way! Do I take them off the hangers and switch? How do I deal with this? Argh! Over the next few visits the rest of my shirts slowly migrated to the reverse direction and it became the divider between my laundered shirts and my regular shirts - sorted by color of course :-) Despite all this, Sims gets a 5-star rating because they haven't broken a button of mine yet. My previous cleaner would regularly break buttons and I think would just randomly pick out buttons regardless of how well they match. Go back to my earlier statement about OCD and this is something that'll drive a person like me crazy. I think Sims has actually fixed button mishaps from the other cleaner! I've had other random things repaired and the pricing and turnaround time are wonderful. Absolutely great people to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
