The first time…read moreit was washed was over a decade ago and I can honestly say I wasn't too satisfied with the cleaning. Searching for a reputable oriental rug cleaner through Yelp there weren't many choices specializing in oriental rugs. I went with Palayan's and I'm glad I did. My rug was picked up from my house and delivered back within a couple of weeks or so. The rug is clean and vibrant and smells so much better now. Even sone of the stains I thought wouldn't come out have lifted. They were honest to let me know that there was a possibility some of the staining may not come out but I have to say I don't see the black staining it had before. The fringe is no longer a discolored and musty smelling. The service I received was worth the money spent. Thanks to Palayan's for their excellent service.

Unfortunately, mold had begun growing on the surface of the fibers in an area where a couch had been sitting, so we knew the rug needed professional cleaning. From the start, communication with Rug Masters was excellent. I received a very competitive price quote, responses were prompt, and the turnaround time worked well for us. Jay arrived on June 2nd, right on schedule, to pick up the wool rug. After inspecting it, he discovered moth damage, which increased the cost for cleaning and restoration of the 9' x 12' rug from $480 to $600. Even with the additional repairs, his quote was still the best among the companies I contacted, and it included both pickup and delivery. The rug was returned to us on June 27th, and we were extremely impressed and satisfied with the results. The colors were vibrant, the mold spots and spores were completely gone, and the moth-damaged areas had been expertly repaired. The rug looked immaculate and beautifully restored. We are very pleased with both the quality of the work and the customer service. We would not hesitate to use this company again and highly recommend them!
