There are way too many liquor stores in this town. One on every block, often two. They all look…read morethe same, feel the same, sell the same. But there are a handful in town that are just...different. This isn't QUITE one of the top dogs (Argonaut, Applejack,, etc.), but it is a solid place indeed. They have the basic requirements I look for in a liquor store such as local items, easy-to-spot sales, and a good staff that actually knows their product. But they also have tastings where their staff is performing them under the watchful eye of a local brewer. This lets them learn the beers as they sell them. I like that a lot. Sale prices, clean store, and a good variety of local beers at non-insane prices. The location is a bit weird and off the path, but worth the extra 60 seconds TOPS that it takes to get in and out. Probably the best store this side of town.
