I first spoke with the shop on September 8, and again on September 15. During the Sept 15th call, I asked to bring the car in during a vacation we would take a month later. On October 7 I emailed the estimate. On October 8 I emailed adding again the request to schedule the repair for October 15-20, while we were out of town: and asked what they needed from me to get it booked. That email was never answered. I dropped the car off on October 14 anyway. We returned from vacation to a phone call as I was in the airport returning home: great news - the replacement door had arrived, that morning, on October 20 -- and not one hour of work had been started yet. The earliest completion they could offer was October 23 after my wife already needed the car back for work. I had State Farm move the claim as dates no longer mattered. On Oct 23rd Caliber Collision on Taylor Rd. in Reynoldsburg took the same car, the same claim, and the same estimate: the door is in paint today, October 28, they text me updates without being asked, and they expect to finish this week. Six weeks from first contact to zero work started. A shop that holds your car for a week and starts nothing does not have a scheduling problem. It has a respect problem. I cannot recommend McCombe.

Randy, the owner, was flexible with the times I could bring it in for an estimate. They did an excellent job repairing my car and finished it a day earlier than they promised. I needed some other bodywork done, which was unrelated to the claim from the person who backed into me. This bodywork was on the front bumper of my car, resulting from a youngster who fell off of his scooter and caused the scooter to put a huge dent in my front bumper. Randy said he would fix that big dent himself and I could pay him instead of having to file a claim with my insurance company, as the youngster was only about 11 years old and I didn't get the contact information for his parents. He charged me a very reasonable price for the front bumper and did a great job on it too. My car also needed some intense cleaning on the interior due to the fabric of the seats, which stains easier than I have ever seen anything stain! I have tried to clean it myself about 30 times using many types of upholstery repair and natural substances. All that happened is that the stains spread out more. Randy said he has an excellent detailer who will definitely be able to get all those stands up and clean other things on the interior. He said he would arrange to contact him and schedule it while my car was in his shop for repairs. The detailer's name is Paul Johnson, who I had heard of before due to the great work he does! And he did an awesome job with the interior, including the trunk! My car looked like a brand new car! All of that work was finished in four days! They are very hard workers and don't take advantage of people!

The "repair" started to rust so I contacted progressive to get it repaired yet again. When I picked up my car I noticed this glass sitting in my back seat, unwrapped, digging into my door armrests. Not very cool I gotta say. Zero communication about this, or anything really other than the day before it was ready to be picked up. Their manager came out to see this and started getting really pissy when I called them out for failing at every aspect of their business. He really didn't like it when I told him to go fuck himself either and then he got up in my face and threatened to have me arrested. Mind you he was preventing me from leaving the business at that time. If you need work done on your car and your options are Land and Kenny or a groups of rabid raccoons with a few tools, I would go with the rabid raccoons.

Although sometimes you can't always have what you want and you have to compromise. So I listened to the guy's insurance that was in charge of covering my vehicle and they sent me here. After reading these 5 star reviews I knew my car would be in good hands. All that suspicion started to go away. The customer service was great, they explained everything they would do to repair my vehicle and a time estimate when it would be done. The reason they are getting the five stars though is that I did not expect my car to be done by now and in very good condition after they completely fixed the damage done to my rear end of the vehicle. I expected to get a call like next week. The reason I'm ecstatic is because you might not know but I did not take a rental during the time my car was being repaired by Glassburn. I was offered it by the insurance but because I had 2 other vehicles I said no thanks. I sort of regret not getting that rental now, since I went through 2 cars that had so many issues in the three days my car was being repaired. So as you can all imagine, when I got the news my car was completed today I jumped for joy. Ben at Glassburn surely made my day by letting us know the vehicle was done earlier than expected.
