Tyler Pryor (owner) and I spoke at length and he came to my home to take a look at the car before we ever towed it to the shop and was open and understanding to my ideas for the finished project and my budget. The car spent a little over three years at the shop and I built a relationship with the owner and employees. There was an obvious understanding of what the car meant to me and my family and Tyler and the guys helped breath life back into this heirloom. We did a full restoration from the rolling frame to turning the key and driving the car home. Improvements included power steering, disc brakes, a/c, and shaved door handles. The finished project looked better than it would have rolling off the assembly line. Door and body gaps are even and clean, the paint has a mirror finish, and the car flat out RUNS! I was not looking for a sow car to sit in my garage, but rather a beautifully finished daily driver I can rely on. Tyler was great in helping locate parts and suggesting alternatives to ensure I was getting the most bang for my buck. There was no up-selling and he helped me work out a payment plan to ensure work progressed while I was getting funds together to make my dream a reality. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Tyler and the guys at North Texas Customs for the work they did for me. If you're looking for another reason to have these guys fix up your ride, look for my burgundy '65 mustang cruising around town and searching for awards at the local Murphy car sow. I picked up a Best in '60's Award three months after picking up the car.

I decided to Jimmy-rig the wind-gate to the bumper with tape so I could drive my truck to the dealer to buy a replacement part. I made it to the dealership safely, but they wanted $680 just for a new part (not including labor). They urged me to get it replaced before driving my truck back home to Nevada because the wind-gate helps to cool the engine. As a last ditch effort, I decided to go to AutoZone to see if they had any parts to help me replace the wind-gate on my own. However, AutoZone told me they don't carry any parts for new model trucks, but suggested I go to Napa Auto Parts. From the moment I walked into Napa Auto Parts, Dylan greeted me with a warm welcome. He listened to my issue and went outside in 102+ degree heat, got under my truck, and found a temporary solution to fix my problem so I can drive back home to Nevada. Dylan was absolutely fantastic and very friendly. Best of all, he didn't charge me a single penny. I am so incredibly thankful to Dylan and Napa Auto Parts for all they did to help me solve the issue. I honestly don't know what I would've done without their help. Highly, Highly Recommended for your auto needs. Before you decide to go to the dealership, come here first to see if they can help you out.

The parts that Napa sells now aren't the quality that they used to be and a lot of them don't even fit and have to be returned. AutoZone has lifetime warranty of parts ever go bad you get a new part for free. Napa doesn't have that and their parts are low quality not like they used to be.

The main reason is that I'm giving a BAD rating is I had order a part $160.00 and the part was…read morebroken, so I had them order another part. Also had to run to Sherman Tx, 20 miles to pick up the defective part. They were to check it and they didn't, it was broken as well. I didn't find out until I had gone out there to pick it up. Okay, so you may say that third time a charm, right. Not, the third one was sent out to the shop doing the work. They did a great job in putting it in! But when I went to pick the car up, they told me that the wire harness was missing from the part; they had to remove it from the old one and put it back on the new part (cooling fan, 2006 Toyota) . So when confronted the O'Relies manager said that it wasn't their problem and clearly he had no idea what was going on. He wasn't prepared to call anyone, especially me, he didn't have a clue about anything around the situation. Then he started to explain that it was the shop's fault for not calling O'Relies back? I asked him for the DMs number and he refused to give me any information. I'm sure the person is not up to be a manager, no people skills, rude, and passes the ball off to others to take the fall. I'm now waiting for the DM to call me back. And I will be wanting respect and reimbursement for the faulty parts. I'm not Impressed! Management skills lacking, people skills zero. And the fact that his didn't hone up?? I rate him a zero, and that's giving him too much credit.

I came back and picked up the clutch kit and found that the CV boots they ordered for me were the wrong ones. They were very apologetic and gave me a discount on the clutch kit and ordered the correct CV boots. A pleasant surprise. Previously, I would check several different websites for prices for parts, but now I go directly to NAPA, no more shopping around. At NAPA, I know I'll get the right part, or they'll help me find it. For those of you who need dealer only parts, check NAPA. I've found *many* VW parts that I could only find online or at the dealer here at NAPA. Prices are very reasonable compared to the dealer and only a little more than online. At least if you buy the wrong part, you can return it locally instead of having to mail it back. The parts at NAPA are better quality than most. Be careful of parts from other stores. Some rebuilt parts will fail at the drop of a wrench. If you want a reliable car, you want reliable parts. Get them here. The staff here is awesome. Brad, Trenda, Jeff, Vicky, they're all helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. You can take these people's advice unlike the dodgy advice of other parts stores. It was raining one day and I had too many parts to carry out by myself and they'll help you carry the parts out. Above and beyond. What does NAPA stand for? Only quality.
