I thought the…read moredamage was limited to an exhaust leak but it had a very unusual and inconsistent sound, so I was concerned about continuing our trip and breaking down in our awesome Arizona heat. Since it was Sunday and a holiday weekend, I wasn't optimistic. We found this shop was open. Huge thanks and kudos to Carl and Victor for inspecting the van on and off the lift right away and showing me that the only significant damage was a crushed exhaust pipe, and it appeared safe for us to continue home. That kind of service and goodwill is not super common these days. We are not just thankful, we won't forget! If you live in this area, I recommend this shop.

We were able to get it started with our generator, but needed someone with Rv knowledge to let us know what was wrong before we were all the way to our campsite. They had us come directly in and diagnosed the problem. It was a bad alternator. They referred us to another location that did that type of repair, assuring us that we were ok to continue on our vacation using our generator until we had time to do the repair. The rain was threatening a few miles away in heavy dark clouds. I was in a hurry to replace my…read morewiper blades before getting drenched. Although I'm a mechanic and an engineer, I was struggling to figure out how to install the wipers. Jennifer (maybe a manager?) saw my frustration and offered to help. Reluctantly I agreed. Jennifer not only realized I'd been sold the wrong wipers, she made me feel somewhat less stupid because "you'd never get those to fit, the kit is missing the adapter you need... it took me a long time to figure THAT out!" Jennifer was quick to swap out the incorrect wipers and replace them with a set with the correct adapters. Turns out Jennifer had already clocked out and was leaving the store but stopped to help. That is customer service and commitment to her job. I told Jennifer (jokingly) that "AutoZone should keep her on at least another week or two!" Jennifer, you represent AutoZone well.
