Probably one of the better bets at the resort. The breakfast buffet was good. They have omelette
read morestations which is great! Big selection of an assortment of pastries and hot foods. The smoothies were terrible. Don't bother. Orange juice tastes like it's fresh squeezed. That was a nice surprise. I did go for a quick bite at dinner time one night. Taco bar is the only decent thing I had in there. At any rate, the other restaurants are all booked up most days so this is a good option.

We're staying at the resort 8/10-8/16/20 and just had this spot as our first breakfast ... SO GOOD!
read more I had the omelet station, bacon, and some smoked salmon. The station had lots of topping choices and there were 2 going at the same time, so no waiting in line. I usually only eat turkey bacon at home, so the real bacon here was a real treat to me! And who doesn't love eating FRESH SMOKED SALMON with breakfast - what a treat! I also had a cantaloupe and pineapple plate and the fruit was so perfectly ripe, it was almost hard to pickup with a fork! My fiancé had the french toast after we heard another couple talking about it at check-in last night ... it truly didn't disappoint! You could see the granules of sugar on top mmmmhmmm! He also made his own chilaquiles ... look at that pickled onion on top - amazing! He also had this really delish candied pear that had a plop of whipped cream on top, as well as other fruits. It was the perfect level of sweet and tart mix. Of course don't forget to order your mimosas and bloody mary's to go along with your epic breakfast!

Great food options for the finicky diner. This restaurant was a three minute walk from our amazing
read moreroom. The Market has everything under the sun with flavors that will challenge your taste buds. From veggie only options to seafood, chicken, beef and pork. To soups, salads and mouth watering desserts! The staff here will make sure that your cup/glass is always full. If you prefer wine with your fish they bring the bottle tableside and pour to your satisfaction. Many of their wines are from Spain and other European countries. At the meals end a nice piece of cake warshed down with some of the best coffee I have ever had in any restaurant back in the USA. If your in a hurry and have things lined up like tours or music events for the day. Going to a buffet style restaurant is your best bet. The breakfast here is amazing.

The Market is the buffet restaurant on the "Hacienda" or family side of the Hard Rock Riviera Maya
read more We always dined here for breakfast, had lunch here a couple of times , and even had dinner here when we could not get into one of the a la carte restaurants. For a buffet, the Market does a great job! There is always such a wide variety of food available for every meal! For breakfast there were the usual suspects....freshly made waffle & pancake station, omelette station, plus tons of American and Mexican entrees. There was a pizza oven where they warmed tacos for a taco bar at breakfast and made pizzas at lunch. There were always fresh fruit and green juices and horchata water. At dinner there are different theme nights (Italian, Steak, etc.) We walked by when they had the seafood buffet and it looked excellent with lobster, crab, and many varieties of fish. The staff served beverages and was always very helpful. Sometimes the a la carte restaurants at the Hard Rock were disappointing but you could never go wrong at the Market.

Well... where should we start... we booked the stay with
read moreSuites Corazón and it included a complimentary continental breakfast so we decided to go ahead and do it not knowing that we would be actually going to a third party restaurant... The first time we got there, the service was ok, we ordered from a specific menu catered to the free breakfast. The Mexican breakfast was decent and the Ranchero was ok... we were not blown away with the food; not to mention there was no salt on the tables, just pepper, and most the time the food tasted bland. Sometimes the portions were also uneven. The second time around, the service really lacked and thereafter it just started degrading more and more.. one time we waited about 10-15 min before anyone even acknowledged us or looked at us; I get that they were understaffed, but I also work in service and no matter how understaffed you are, you always acknowledge your customers... I get that we were not really "paying" for our breakfast (it was worked into the hotel rate), however if you want to make a customer for life and commit them to spend more money at your establishment then you make the best effort to offer better service and even maybe make small talk, talk about the dinner options etc. this is a free opportunity for you, the restaurant, to win clients over and make even more money. Personally, I would not want to ever go back there even if it was just for a casual meal.

Flank tacos were warm, tortillas were not warmed, no salsas. Guacamole was bland. Service was slow
