I've tried hairstylists at both ends of the price spectrum and have ended up feeling disappointed. Jess started with a consultation and then washed my hair in preparation for my cut. Can you believe I went to a pricier place in town and they skipped this step?! Sheesh, it's like part of the whole haircutting experience. (I'm sure there is a technical reason for this step too.) My hair was cut in about 20-25 mins. and she spent about another 15 mins. styling it for me. I thought she did an excellent job and appreciated that she listened to my concerns about using the razor (scissors). All in all, I got a great cut at a reasonable price ($40) and time! Although Jess seems young, she is confident and skilled. I noticed that she was very meticulous about how she did everything. That made me feel like she cared about her work and has high standards. By the way, they just started a new referral program where you and a new client referral can each get 15% your next haircut with the same stylist. Ask about the referral card when you go or check around to see if any of your friends have one to give you. There is a parking lot and the decor was very nice with a day spa feel. Now if only they offered massage services there too....

From start to finish I felt heard and taken care of. One of my biggest pet peeves is a stylist painting your forehead with coloring and not removing it completely before you leave the salon. Ashlyn was very careful to not paint my face and removed what was there. She recommended great products - which I've used in the last and love. Scheduled my follow up and can't wait!
