The main focus is the dessert here. My wife and I wanted something that was popular and the worker recommended Moose Tracks. It is a vanilla based ice cream with miniature peanut butter chocolate cups and fudge. By far one of the best ice cream flavors I've had. I am usually not a fan of peanut butter and chocolate like Reese's cups, but the pieces inside this ice cream were delightful. The store sells some merchandise including clothing, accessories, some fruits, half-dozen egg cartons. Very impressed with Madeket portion of Nantucket.

Delighted to find a local bean to bar chocolate shop on our trip to Nantucket. The owner was…read moreincredibly welcoming and informative about their chocolate as well as offering us a sample of plain dark or milk chocolate. We took home a bar of milk chocolate with strawberries, dark chocolate with cacao nibs and dark chocolate togarashi. Really enjoyed the dark chocolate bars but the milk chocolate with strawberries was kind of soft and almost crumbly. Maybe it was the moisture from the strawberries which were pretty gummy? Great chocolate shop but on the pricey side with a full size 75g bar being $24.

Simply put, it is custom - gourmet chocolate made by hand from 'bean to bar' by Andre and his wife, Erica. Very high quality, purity, and deliciousness. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh and searched for, world-wide. The combinations of 50% or 70% cocoa and the addition of cranberries, ginger, orange peel, marshmallow, etc. make the bars quite a unique, adult treat. Toffee, bark, and cocoa - all are also exceptional. Prices very reasonable. Service is just the best. Wednesday, during tourist season (May to Labor Day) they run a class on how to make chocolate. We vacation on ACK, usually do two or three overnight trips, and about six day trips. One thing is certain: when we get off at Straight Wharf, we walk over to Old South Wharf and buy up a bunch of stuff. They also ship to the mainland, which is nice so we don't have to carry it around the island. No negatives whatsoever. A must visit chocolatier. 10DEC2025
