I got the bowl made with the quinoa base, cucumbers, kale salad, and carrots as my 3 topper choices. I loved the kale, quinoa, and carrots. But the cucumbers, although tasty, just didn't wow me. My daughter got the pesto chicken sandwich and devoured it quickly. However, didn't care for the artichoke in it. Of course I failed to snap a pic before we dug in and finished, but it was all very tasty and we wished we had somewhere like this to go back at home. Nan's is the absolute best! The chicken is 5-star. I always get the hot honey chicken sandwich. The sides are all so delicious and flavorful. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sammie and it was absolutely delicious! It was super savory and the perfect amount of spice. The chicken inside the sandwich was a very large piece so it was totally worth the money. The pickles on it were fresh, light and added a great crunch. My only negative is that it was super oily, as you can see in the photo. My boyfriend got the Korean BBQ Sammie and it was equally as delicious. The sauce on it was very good and he said the slaw on it was an awesome addition. The place itself was super cute and had a great assortment of treats to purchase. I'm glad the activity that we were doing pointed us to this spot as I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it if I had just seen it on the side of the road. Nan's is the best thing to happen to the area in a long time. I finally have a "go-to" spot for amazing food, wine, and unique gifts. The owners and employees go above and beyond and every take out order looks like a gourmet masterpiece that belongs on the cover of a magazine. Oh, and you can't beat the flavors and unique and seasonal options. My favorites are the Spicy Kale salad (didn't know I liked kale until trying this), the Kale-I-Flower salad, the Apple Turkey Melt, hush puppies, and the Chicken Sandwich (not fried chicken). My S/O swears by the grain bowls (Salmon and Shawarma especially). You really can't go wrong when everything is right. Shoutout to their holiday pre-order system. One salad order was full of gritty, unwashed vegetables; food is pricey for what you get; 'extra' salad dressing came in thimble-sized containers (no kidding!) and frankly, the chicken isn't "all that." My first experience at the Stole location, this place is the bomb! First of all, it's a very unusual building and set up, fun to explore. The people here, love, food, and love people. They are very detail oriented, and can read your mind Clean bathrooms, lots of cool, gift, ideas and food and snack items, as well as beer and wine, etc. But the main attraction is the food! Lots and lots of fresh salads, vegetables, greens, and proteins. You can get a fantastic meal there, or lots of supplies. I would eat here two days per week, but the trick is not to spend too much, because everything is great. Kudos to Nan and her whole team, I'm a huge fan, here, and in Southboro. read more

The market itself is so cute and has a great wine selection, whole bean coffee from local roasters, and anything you may need to make a quick date night dinner. Had to DIY it a bit, but one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth is this place's falafel and mixed spring greens with a cilantro-based pesto kind of sauce (where has zhugg been all my life?!)...shaved root salad with cauliflower and fennel with hazelnut vinaigrette hanging next to it... had to provide my own pita (they have it in the morning for a breakfast thing, but sometimes have it left over). This was our 2nd visit back to Nan's we were instant fans of the fried chicken Sammie's, my husband got the Nansville hot chicken Sammie with bacon and cheese and I got the hot honey chicken Sammie with a blueberry meyer lemon lemonade. The weather was nice this visit so we sat outside at the picnic tables, the vibe is pretty laid back here and just over the hill is a little pond you can visit once you finish your meal. We really love coming here, the staff is always friendly and the food is always freshly made, our favorite sides so far are the green beans with Calabrian chilies and the kale salad. I am giving this place 2 stars and will give suggestions for improvement. First the good...the person who took the order was friendly. The atmosphere with open and inviting. The servings were large. now the suggestions.. Ask people whether or not they are dining in or doing take out. If they dine in, give them a plate instead of a box. I found it very messy to eat from a box and my chicken sandwich fell apart. it was hard to know when the food was ready. Maybe do what some places do and give people a buzzer or a table number with service to that table. There was a small speaker at the corner where wall meats ceiling. All we heard from this speaker were base notes. can you imagine how difficult it is to focus on a conversation with loud bass going the whole time, and without hearing the melody. My wife and I brought her sister here just this past Saturday and we all got chicken sandwiches so I thought I'd mix it up and get the chowda. It didn't disappoint! It is on the creamy side vs soupy, which I prefer. Chock-full of 3 types of clams and just the right amount of bacon. Well seasoned (maybe just a tad salty) with hearty chunks of potato. You know when you get a cup of clam and it's too watery and there isn't a clam to be found? Not a problem with Nan's since every bite featured clam. For being a farmhouse restaurant, I would still easily put theirs up against some local seafood restaurants. The marriage of flavors with freshest ingredients makes their salads and sides some of the most unique vegetarian dishes we have ever tasted. Every bite is magic. I would never eat green beans or beets otherwise, but they know how to season and dress their dishes and present it at the right temperature. The salt, the acid, the texture, everything is perfect. Just heard about Nan's and gave it a shot. Tried to order roasted chicken, but was out of it so we tried the fried chicken. Was absolutely delicious (both hot that night and cold the next morning)! Maybe not that healthy, but really yummy. Got a bunch of sides - carrots and kale were our favorites. Brussel sprouts were a bit too hard for my taste, but we sautéed them a bit at home and were much better. Didnt love the broccoli and pesto...not a combination I love, but that's just me. The pickup was running about 30' behind schedule, but seems like it was a crazy night for them. They apologized and game me a coupon for my next visit, so all is good. I'm having a big event in a few weeks and I was taken aback by how rude and bitchy the lady was when questions about catering. She said well everything is online for catering and I asked some specific questions and again she says well again all the answers are online about catering. The Stow store is more than you would expect. They have very good wine and craft beer for sale also and many other foods to compliment their product. The food is excellent, not sure of the prices now, but they were good a few months ago. What you would expect they exceeded my expectations. Service was spot on. They put their heart and soul into what they do. It shows, this isn't a big company with big profits. It's a Mom&Pop owned market. Go there, keep them in business!!!
