Very good! First time here and was impressed with the atmosphere, the service, the food, the speediness, cleanliness, and taste!! I did the 1/4 chicken breast with the rice and brussel sprouts. I would recommend going with the fries instead of the rice for flavor purposes. The brussel sprouts and chicken were bomb!! I love Nando's, the flavors are great! This location is conveniently located near my dance class. Parking in the mall garage can be a little confusing with validation etc but it's not too bad. It's right there when you walk in from the garage so that's super convenient! We came pretty late so service was flying through it, our food came out so fast! I tried a wrap this time around but I think I'll stick with the straight up chicken (was mildly jealous of my friend's chicken thighs). I love the sides, especially the perinaise sauce with fries, and garlic bread! My only disappointment is that it's a little pricey for the portion, especially when you want two sides. If I could have any place open up in Southern California, it would be Nando's. We walked by and I mentioned One Direction to him as a joke and he said we should just give it a try. That was the best decision we ever made. We were sat immediately upon arrival and the servers were very nice to let us know we could place our order through a qr code whenever we were ready. My boyfriend and I ordered new stuff on their menu which was the sweet heat bowl and the all the trimmings bowl. Everything tasted phenomenal, I got a chicken thigh for my sweet heat bowl and the chicken was the most juiciest chicken I have ever had. There were options for how spicy you wanted it and we got both as 'hot' and it is not to be played with because it is pretty spicy along with the sauce they offered for you to grab. We also ordered garlic sticks which was so crispy and flavorful. I am not usually a steak fries kind of girl but these were so crispy and melted in your mouth. The only thing were were a little disappointed with was that the rice was a little Plain and the mac n cheese was kind of cold. Maybe it was because it was next to coleslaw. Nando's PERi PERi is a fantastic fast casual dining spot. I was super late to the game and tried it for the first time this month. I wish that I had tried it sooner!! The sweet & spicy chicken wrap was amazing. We got it with the extra hot sauce, which was the hottest available. It was so so so good!! We loved the chili jam they added in there as well. The PERi chips (fries) with PERinaise were fantastic. The fries were perfectly crispy and the PERinaise was a tangier version of Chick Fil A sauce. We loved it!! No, it's not the best food I've ever had. However, it's definitely on par with the best fast casual food I've ever had! Lastly, I wanted to note how clean and efficient the staff was at Nando's. Garlic bread was a yummy and very flavorful. Seasoning on my chicken was just right. I will say that we both wanted more food. So next time will order 1/2 chicken. Was planning to go to Boka for dinner that night but we were so tired from an all day outting that we decided to order in from Nando's and whoa what a great change of plans. MOISTEST, JUICIEST chicken I have ever had. I read on their website that the chicken is marinating in a brine for 24 hours. And it definitely can be tasted. The sides were pretty decent but the chicken is outstanding. Can select your own spice level but I recommend going plain because while you are waiting for your food which is prepared and ready pretty quickly you can head to the sauce bar to create / choose your own sauces to enhance the chicken. Imo the chicken is phenomenal just on its own. My only negative comment is that they need to open some up in CA! lol read more

I've heard a lot of hype around Nando's and knew I had to give it a try while I was in Chicago, since it isn't readily available on the west coast. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Kale Caesar Salad, 1/2 Chicken and Chips, and a draft beer. The peri-peri marinade is spicy, citrusy, and a little smoky, with the key ingredient being the African bird's eye chili. Since it was our first time, we opted for the mild spice, but there's also sauces at varying spice levels on the side. Overall, chicken was tender and the fries and brussel sprouts were decent, but I think I wasn't as wowed by the marinade as I expected. Perhaps I was expecting something more like jerk chicken due to my own unfamliarity with the cuisine, so I felt like the grilled chicken was lacking smoky, earthy flavor. First time for Nando's, someone recommended and we didn't know it was going to be SO DELICIOUS! Service was super friendly - we walked in the door and were greeted by a very helpful employee who walked us through the menu and suggested her favs. Moments later, we scanned a QR code on the table to place our order. It was a very easy process and allowed our food to be delivered right to our table. We chose the grilled leg/thigh combo with the garlic bread and drink as a side, as well as the thigh skewer lunch deal with garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and a drink. Or knowing the spice levels, we went for medium. Food arrived quickly and was excellent! Wonderful grilled flavor and the peri peri sauces were amazing - blend of a fruity yet spicy chile with vinegar and garlic to round the sauce. The garlic bread was also great - crispy and actually having a strong garlic taste. The restaurant was very tidy and clean, welcoming, yet we found the music to be louder than we'd like I. You cannot go wrong with Nando's! I have been to a few of the locations around the city and I have yet to meet one that I did not like. At this specific location it was very cute inside and everything was clean even the restroom. I came earlier into them opening so it wasn't too busy so I felt very comfortable eating inside. They had this beautiful painting in the back of the restaurant which gave it a great vibe. I ordered the two legs with two sides. I was easily able to get two meals out of my order. The food arrived very quickly and the staff was very friendly. At one point someone came around all of the tables to make sure we were doing good. The food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and tasted fresh. The mashed potatoes were buttery and tasty. Lastly, the corn was great. Honestly I may have to look into moving closer to a Nando's! I'm obsessed with the sauces so I was happy that had a few in to-do sauce cups so I can get the same experience with my leftovers. The leftovers were just as delicious even after eating it two days later. Everything was just as tasty! I came here for the Yelp Elite event and wow -- I was blown away! The staff was incredible and the outside seating area was so cute. The service was phenomenal. The young lady who helped me at the counter was spectacular. I'm plant-based so I had to forgo the chicken (this time) but the young lady walked me through some of their other yummy options. I opted for the avocado bowl which was delicious. The rice was so flavorful and all of the veggies were crisp and colorful. I came here as part of a Yelp elite event. The guy behind the counter who took my order was a little rude when I first entered. I had to remind him about the drink and also ask if i could get some of the hot sauce with my order. Once he realized I was here for the Yelp event another girl took over for the order. The bowl was absolutely delicious. I got the vegetarian option and for a restaurant who is known for their chicken - the veggie option was pretty good. They have a variety of sauces to try the lemon and medium spicy is my favorite. I would definitely go back for the bowl! It was really flavorful and had rice, protein, veggies and a little salad. This location had some outdoor seating, so we ordered and went out to our table to wait for our food. The chicken and chips came out pretty quickly and everything was hot. The chicken was the juiciest, most tender chicken I've ever had! The flavor was outstanding as well. The peri peri sauce is a garlicky, citrusy sauce that can be spicy or not, depending on your taste. We got the medium spice and I didn't think it was spicy at all, just delicious. The chips were piping hot, seasoned well, and didn't even need the dipping sauce! They were some of my favorite fries. My boyfriend said this was his favorite meal of our whole trip, so I think it's safe to say we'll be back next time we're in town. The staff were super friendly and helpful! We went for lunch on a weekend. They explained how the restaurant worked and how to order, and all the different sauces available.
